Nice hostel, with nice common room and big backyard. Good place for meeting people. The staff could be a bit more friendlier, they seemed a bit off and grumpy. They could hire more staff. Often, there was no one at the reception. There could be more power outlets in the dorm. There is less than 1 outlet per person in the dorm. Overall, I had a good stay.

A boutique-style hostel, pretty comfortable, warm and cosy for a few nights. It's about 15 minutes walk to the city center. Bright rooms, fully equipped kitchen. Car parking in the courtyard. Friendly staff. Upper beds in common rooms have curtains for privacy. The place would need a good dusting and a spruce up, though. Also, the improvised and amateur finishing and decorative details are sometimes too many.

So to add... its dog friendly which is a plus for me, they have an amazing back yard, the staff is always present but just know they like there fresh air so just ring the bell, fresh linen and some nights have amazing cultural vibes which I wouldn't trade for the world. But stay here and with love-Charlie

This hostel is truly a gem. Been there two times with my girlfriend and we immediately felt at home. The staff is the friendliest of all the hostels I've experienced so far throughout Europe. They have an amazingly relaxing garden in the back of the house which we were grateful to use during summer. If peace, love and mutual respect is important to you, than this is the place to be! :) Thanks again to the caring staff, keep up the good work!

I have visited the Spot Cosy Hostel during the Transylvania International Film Festival and have enjoyed my stay quite a lot. I actually had to mix travel with some work and they offered quite a nice place for living, socializing and also working. Quiet and clean rooms, free breakfast and extremely helpful and friendly staff are just few of the pros of this hostel.

Nothing but amazed by the comfort and hospitality we experienced here. Big shout out to the cosy spot team who helped make our stay in Cluj perfect. We stayed longer than planned!

Easily one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The staff are super helpful, the beds are nice, the common room is awesome, and their dogs are fun. On my last night I accidentally joined the staff and their friends for drinks (they were having a private party) instead of asking me to leave they asked me to join for a few drinks. I wish I could stay at this hostel longer, but my travels are elsewhere. However, should I ever come back to Cluj I have no doubts where I will be staying. If you're unsure about this place, don't think twice, book here.

I booked into the "blue room" at the hostel for three nights. Its a queen sized bed with up to two guests in the room so it's fairly private. However, the hostel environment lives up to its hype. Its cosy and warm. There's an awesome fireplace that is fueled by firewood. There's also a living room with an xbox should you feel like playing. The service by the staff is great and inviting. They will help you whichever way they can to make you feel comfortable. Overall a very positive experience, would definitely come again if given the opportunity.

Stayed in Oct. 2018. Arrived around 21.00. Had to call in order to be let in as no one was available near the gate 'buzzer' (even though check in is until midnight I believe was stated online). Thank goodness my friend and I got a local SIM card! After we were let in, we watched another late arrival make it inside the gate, but wait at the check- in desk for probably an hour to be checked in as no one was there and there were no instructions for him to call the staff! The staff could not suggest any must sees in Cluj if you only have a half day in the town. Told us not to even bother then! By the way, a leisurely self-guided tour around the City Centre, a delicious breakfast at Olivo, and a visit to the National Museum (I'm an archaeologist and recommend this museum) is what should have been recommended for our tight time frame in the city! Bathrooms were dirty, not well stocked and had windows on the doors. My bed was fine, but my travel companion believes she received MANY bedbug bites from her bed. Overall, would not recommend this spot.

I paid a deposit for this hostel through hostelworld, and now they are closed and I am out of my deposit.

Stayed here before a festival and ended up coming back after the festival as I really enjoyed the place! Super clean facilities and friendly staff. The conversion from a house to a hostel is one of the best I've seen and this is really your home away from home in Transylvania! I don't see myself staying anywhere else in Cluj!
