The food are pretty good. No I didn't stay here

For sure one of the best restaurants in town. The food is really good here and everything looks great but you can’t order everything. On of the greatest restaurants with traditional food.

Good food at a very fair price. Although the place is almost always crowded, you get served quickly. They do their best and it can be seen and felt!

Today we went to have an afternoon with friends at Roata Faget. The heaters protected us against cold and the warm gluhwein warmed up our interior system and was delicious with this weather. After we ordered the grilled meat plateau. We received a mountain of meat and fries hot and steamy. We all enjoyed our food , drinks and company. And all for a very good price .Thank you!

I would give a 4.3 rating on a 10-point scale. Firstly, the waitress was SUPER NICE (that is why I'm not giving less than a 4), but I did not have a good experience with the food. I was ordering a special pizza that was not available, but they took the order, and they notified me later (so for around 20 minutes I was in the belief that I will get what I ordered), then I choose a new meal from the menu, — fried cottage cheese balls with jalapenos and french fries with cheese, both of these meals were ready-made and pre-frozen. After this terrible experience, I eat Papanași, which was PERFECT. My family made better decisions about what to order, and they were satisfied. So, if you want to order traditional things, or something that is grilled, or even a soup, you will not be disappointed like me. Anyway, you have to wait like 30-40 minutes for the food, but that's not sooo terrible because of the woods you have nearby.

The food was worth the price, but unfortunately the place is always crowded, the staff always runs around and sometimes they feel overwhelmed and this results in arguments with customers and so on. Also, sometimes the food might be cold upon arriving. Overall the restaurant is great and the food is delicious.

Food was pretty good. Location is nice but there is a small issue with the smoke from the huge grill covering the whole terrace. The staff was not so nice. We were ignored for almost 30 minutes even though it wasn't that crowded, no greeting or response to our greetings, most of them were saying "Not me, ask my colleague". In the end we were helped by a very nice waitress who wasn't even Romanian. All in all a nice place to have a cold beer or a decent food but i rekon you should either pay your staff better or just bring non romanians. They seem to be nicer :(

Came here a few times on a few different occasions and I think it has gotten worse over time. A while back the staff were very helpful and friendly but lately it's a mixed bag. Some of the waiters (this was the case just with a few of the lady waiters) have no sense of what it means to work in hospitality or even what the word means - last time one of them told us we should be grateful to have a seat even though we had made reservations - make of that what you will

I live in Cluj since ten years and I can honestly say this is the best place to bring your friends and family to! The ambiance, the food, the owners and the staff are all representing Transylvanian hospitality culture! You won't regret visiting!

Good, traditional Romanian food. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff. We also had a pizza that was very good.

Amazing remote place in town under the forest! Just wonderful! Great food, great friendly staff! Usually a busy place due to their great services, so i would advise to book previously for going to the restaurant! Prices are good as well! Enjoy everyone! 😜😁

Is a quiet place, amf moat likely you will enjoy that after a week in the city. The food is esquiesit, and the people that are serving are more than happy to do so.

The food was great, personnel were very nice and the prices were about average and below average for Cluj.

Even though the location is not the best, it's pretty far away from the center of Cluj, the food and environment make this place worth the visit. I've been here twice (since i'm on vacation), and i can only say that from the first time coming here, I've enjoyed their food, serving time and environment, and i consider it beyond my expectations.

Stuff missing drom the order but found on the bill.. waiting time to long and food received cold. Do not recommend!

Fast service, good food, they use a outdoor grill to cook the restaurant's food, very tasty

The food was delicious very good I recommend the restaurant. But the atmosphere would have been awesome if not for the smokers who destroyed my fresh breath. Lots of smoking all around they don't care about others and this is bad because I and my friends were shocked up including my pregnant wife. At some point I left my table to catch breath outside the courtyard for 10 minute before I came back. Second hand smoking is worse than firsthand. I appeal the manager should do something about it because it's dangerous it's kind of outside but that is also kind of an enclosure smoker should show respect for others by going to a specific area to smoke not on non smokers.

The food was exelent, reasonably priced. The service was good, friendly and caring staff. I definitely recommend this place.

There was a small wedding but I didn't like the music. The place was also a bit crowded. However, the food was great in both quality and assirtments, and the service very very quick.

The restaurant for sure is an A+, great food, great atmosphere, nice personnel, fast service, while the prices are fair enough. I do recommend this place! Now about the hotel, it's nice and clean, spacious rooms, modern baths, nicely furnished. What I don't like, and probably will keep me away from it for my next visit to Cluj, it will be the fact that the rooms don't have neither A/C or a fridge. I've been staying at some poor quality inns, yet they had both of the above mentioned items. Another unpleasant thing might be (I was ok with it, but for sure other people wouldn't agree with this) the noise from the restaurant, which is right under the hotel's balconies.

The place is huge and usually busy, food is cooked fresh so it takes a while for your order to arrive. The wait is worth it as the food is really good. Atmosphere and ambience is very nice, you can sit inside or outside in the fresh air depending on the weather. The prices are very convenient and not expensive. The menu has a wide range of choices too choose from. The place is definitly worth visiting if your really hungry and want to sit back and relax.

Very good service, great food, nice surroundings and good prices. Totally recommend for a family lunch or dinner but for get togethers its ideal.

If you haven't got a car then the restaurant is a little tricky to get to. We chose to walk and enjoyed a bit of an adventure getting there. Walking doesn't worry us. We sat in the outside terrace by the fish pond. Negatives first, the service was a tad slow and our waitress was not the most attentive we've had. Not bad but a little more effort would have been appreciated. However, I chose the time waiting for the food to propose to my partner and for that reason the restaurant will always mean a little more to us. The atmosphere in the terrace was great and we liked the way it had been set out. The seclusion was nice out of the city and about a third of the tables was occupied on an early Monday evening so it seems to be a popular restaurant.

Tried çorba de burta and mici. Çorba was 4+, mici solid 5. Bread was good. Servis fast, terasse big and relaxed. Was pretty full despite mid-week. Seems like a recommend!

Very nice atmosphere and traditional Romanian food. The prices are much better than what you can find in Cluj. The “papanasi” are very good.

Great place for a nice summer afternoon. Lovely terrace and the venues are up to standards. The staff is amazing. Very open and fun to chat with.
