What an amazing trail! We went up the hard way (on the blue cross trail) which was indeed pretty rough, and we came back down the longer route (on the red line). Exquisite views, definitely worth the sweat to get up there! There are plenty of spots for picnics on the top and picturesque scenes for days! The Red line trail goes down through the woods and then leads to an open plain. Be prepared with plenty of water!!

Nice mountain. Way up is ok, way down is horrible whichever path you choose. The trail is closer to rock climbing than it is to a trail

Amazing place full of mystery. The hiking was not the easiest one but it’s worth it. Enjoy the view!

A spectacular rock Piatra Secuiului/ Székelykő - 1128 meters elevation, with a beautiful village on its base Rimetea/Torockó. From the summit, you'll have amazing horizon of Trascaului Mountains on the South-West. The ascent is quite demanding, ~530m of uphill in about 1.5km, with a small spring after half of the ascent and plenty of beautiful flowers that grow on the stones. It surely worth the effort to get up there!

Awesome place for hiking. Offers amazing views, and the trails are very well marked. The landscape visible from the top of Piatra Secuiului is a part of the Cluj county on one side and a part of Alba county (towards Rimetea, Coltesti and Cheile Aiudului) on the other side. Definitely worth a visit. You should have adequate gear though as even if it is a short trail (1.5 hrs from Rimetea) it is quite a difficult one.

One of the most beautiful mountains that I ever saw. You have to be careful and prepared hiker to climb it, but you don't need to be professional. The view is stunning from the top! One of my favourite places.

This is one of my favourite places. The mountain is astonishing, the town is cute and traditional. Easily you can find a nice place to stay, have a BBQ, to hide, to eat locally.

Hiking with a beautiful view, rooms to rent and enjoy a good meal and coffee at the starting point.

I climbed the blue path from Rimetea and it was hard. On the descent I took the red path and it was hell for my poor knees! Somewhere in the middle I sat on a rock that looks like a chair and thought that this is it - I'm not going anywhere... Still I had to return for the paid breakfast so I kept going. Altogether it took me roughly 3.5 hours. Start early at 5 o'clock in the morning and you will return before the heat.

Great trail for an awesome view. The climb is pretty steep so be prepared, take short breaks and hydrate yourself.

A great mountain hike, which was a great way to show my family how much out of shape I am at the moment. Definitely worth the view! Either take a lot of breaks or be in a good shape if you are going to want to see the view 😁

It was absolutely amazing. I recommend not to go on the way to Torockószentgyörgy, it was around 9 km and not that easy as I expected.

Breath taking view but not a trail for people that are doing this for the first time. Also good equipment is necessary.

Easy and accessible trail for anyone in a somewhat fit condition. The trail is perfectly maintained and well marked.

👍👍 Excellent place to visit in Rimetea/Coltesti area. You can arrive close by with car and there is approximately 1km to hike to the ruins. It is quite easy, maximum half an hour. The walls are well preserved and full of history. The view is also nice. Worth the hike. Where the cars are parked, you can...
