The rooms were lovely and the bed comfortably. Only drawback for me was lack of drawers. We only stayed 2 nights which was fine, any longer I would have liked drawer room. Breakfast was good with a choice of 2 sizes and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Best thing for me was that breakfast was cooked to order, no tepid heat lamps. Menu for meals was very reasonable too.

We enjoyed a lovely carvery. Fantastic moist meat and well stocked vegetables. Roast potatoes only disappointment as hard and almost inedible. Staff lovely, but plates not cleared before we left. Huge cake portions for pudding. Dog friendly.

We had a pleasant lunch here. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Disabled parking at the door and accessible toilets. We have eaten here on quite a few occasions now and I usually have the carvery which is always excellent. On this occasion, I had a mixed grill. It was quite tasty. But the beef steak, which had been cooked to my preference, was very tough. The gammon steak was overcooked, and the fried egg was hard. I was also disappointed that the vinegar bottle was empty on our table.

I done a too good to go purchase to try the app out and I must say I was bitterly dissapointed I know it says it's a surprise but in no way shape or form is 1 tiny slice of roast beef and turkey and some peas and carrots worth the £3.58 it cost!!!! Definitely won't be doing that again I feel conned driving to get that you get more in a kids meal

Had to cancel a booking some time ago as lockdown was imposed. Really pleased that we eventually made it. Paul and his team display a great attitude and all of the staff were very friendly. The room was spot on in design and preparation. The food was excellent, both evening meal and the wide breakfast choice. All in all well done and keep those standards going.

Carvery is lovely but off the menu the mozzarella stick where cooked from frozen n the steak was acceptable but the sides where atrocious. As I say stick the the carvery, its bang for buck.
