This is the worse experience I’ve ever had in my life. The music is SO loud that I feel like I’m in the club. My bed is literally vibrating. On top of that, the shower only had hot water. It was burning hot. On top of that our toilet won’t flush. We were here on a Saturday. I understand that it’s also a club but there should be some sort of warning. The music was not described accurately in any reviews of the space. The base is SOOOO loud and on top of that, our bathroom was a complete mess. I also had an upset stomach and not able to flush the toilet. We’ve lived in hostels around the world, Thailand, Canada, Spain, Mexico, etc etc and have never had a worse experience. We’ve also been to edc and edm so we’re not scared easily. This is the worst. They said they provide ear plugs and when we went to ask for them. They only had one ear plug left….. I’m completely shocked this place is still in business. In the beginning there was also a mix up, where we were given then keys to another room. We opened the door and someone else’s stuff were there…… like this place is completely the worst. Do not stay here!!!!!!

This hotel additonally has a pub, restaurant and nightclub attached to the venue. Expecting it to be loud, I can say it didn't seem loud at all. The rooms were clean, spacious and had a sink in (I was in a room with a shared bathroom). You have 1 toilet room and a toilet and shower room, these were extremely modern and clean! Never had an issue with the shared bathroom, never had to wait or seen anyone else use them! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when checking in and helping with activities around the area. The hotel is situations a couple of minutes walk from Balloch train station which is super convenient as well as being 10 minute walk from Loch Lomond, Sea life and other great spots! Highly recommend this place to stay! Fantastic experience for a 3 night stay over the weekend.

Room 0 stars - the room looked like it was featured in train spotting. fag burns on the window, scuff marks and stains on just about every surface, it felt grimey, bed felt like it had been there since the the 70's. I'm well traveled, and stayed in some questionable places, but this was too much for the price. The manager who maintains the advertisement campaign needs an award, at the time of our booking their advertising was very very misleading, to which the hotel denies. There were no photos on the website of the actual room we paid for when we booked and when we were in the hotel on the day because we checked (I can see you've now amended the advertisement). On the website, you only had listed the photos of the room you have recently renovated, and no other pictures of any other rooms at the time of booking. If we had seen photos of the room we paid for, then we certainly wouldn't have made the booking. The advertisement and the way the property was displayed was extremely misleading and not representative of where guests would be staying. The only difference was the wording in the advertisement, - double room with shared bathroom - double room with private bathroom There was a slight cost increase for the private bathroom, but nowhere did it state that the room is significantly different from the photos shown. When we spoke with the duty manager said she was having issues with booking.com and they had been altering your advertisement without you knowing. She did offer for us to view the renovated room with an additional cost, but in honesty, given the run-down state of the property and the misleading information already supplied, we did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel. Therefore, we enquired with another hotel who provided a room for us, at the same cost as your rooms and in much better condition and it was clean and comfortable - and the photos on their site were representative of the what we paid for Service 3 stars- the lady who we initially spoke with on the day we arrived was polite, and did want to help, but as I said, at this stage we did not feel comfortable at all with hotel and wanted out! Location 4 starts - the Location is very convenient to the train station and nearby restaurants (you can walk the the whole town in a hour) We stayed opposite the road, great food, excellent staff, no noise, nice and modern. Spend that little extra and avoid this place!!

Booked at short notice, staff showed us the 2 rooms and then gave us different rooms once paid!! Bathroom had been replaced and looked nice, shower door was short and so water everywhere. Nowhere to put your stuff in the bathroom and one towel rail. No bedside table or dressing table for your things, dimly lit window black with mold/damp from conditions and no mirror. Rug on the floor was black with dirt and mud. Staff did help by getting us a mirror and a bedside table from an empty room, so thank you for that. Breakfast was poor, for £70 per night I would expect better but following a long weekend in Scotland I felt like everything was expensive for what it was.

Good Value for money. Stayed over 3 nights out of season was quiet and peaceful. Continental breakfast to keep you on move but plenty of options arround in area. There is pub attached to hotel.Overall quiet good.

If I could give this 0 stars I would, from what I saw it was dirty and chaotic, the manager was very rude and the staff were just doing their best. It was unsettling that people were carrying uncover food through the main hallway where there were many people and we were not informed about the nightclub downstairs, that runs until 4am, until we got to the property, and the only thing offered was some earplugs. When we asked about this we were told that the website said there was "Some loud noise".

Only went for lunch here. There was a group of 8 and it was no problem seating us. Food qas amazing and value for money. The only complaint was service was rather slow ( we were the only ones there, apart from a couple having drinks). I would absolutely recommend for a meal and have since been back twice.

We stayed coronation weekend for some fishing. The location is stunning,we had a large family room (2 double beds), and the beds are really comfy if u can sleep! Nightclub directly below bedrooms is noisy till 3am Friday and Saturday and Wednesday, but we still slept through it. The reception area is never manned, so if you need earplugs or anything else, u have to go looking. There was NO CHEF employed, so no food. Luckily, there are lots of lovely places to eat very close by. Lovely outdoor seating area, but again NO COOKED BREAKFAST, just tea coffee cereal toast, etc. We had a most enjoyable weekend.

Amazing night out so happy with the staff best around. Definitely made me feel so welcome and at home, im very happy i came here and couldn't have asked for a better night 10 out of 10. X

DO NOT STAY HERE, stay accross the road instead! Misleading photos of the room online. They only posted the photos of the room they had done up so we were lead to believe this was the one we were booking. The manager even told us they were having trouble uploading all the different room photos as their reason when we complained. We had 2 nights booked and cancelled not long after being shown our disgusting, dusting, old, outdated room but we were refused any refund even though it stated on the website "partially refundable- you will be charged the first night if you cancel after reservation". They took a good few days to respond to us after we kept inquirying about our refund and in this time they uploaded the other photos of the rooms to their site, told us we were lying and that the photos had always been posted, then stopped contact with us. Fun fact: the photos the hotel uploaded afterwards that they said we were lying about, have the exact same bed wrinkles, pillow placement, and item placement of the photos I took of the room when we complained. Its very clear that they uploaded these afterwards to get out of the refund, they might even be my exact photos we sent them.... 🤦‍♀️ Absolutely deceitful hotel, disgusting customer service, and poor communication. Also took a photo of the hallway area: Old dusty spider webs in the man hole bit, a turned on light fixture hanging loose midway down the wall from its wire under what I assume was an open circuit board. Terrible health and safety.

Love this place, I went for a day out in june with my girlfriend, found this wee gem just had the superb lamb curry and drinks, the staff were so good we decided to stay the night room 5, it was that good we went the following week for an other overnight stay room 5 again, went last week 23rd August stayed in room 9 this time, I've told all my friends and workmates about this place, it truly is a wee gem, excellent prices, fantastic food, and wonderful staff, be back this month, my new home from home.

Lovely place for a nice chilled day or fun night out . Excellent staff, service and lovely food would definitely recommend 😊.
