A beautiful old country house in an amazing loch-side setting. Inevitably more restricted accessibility, and there is a lift. Good food with unusual combinations. Atmosphere is great, and a superb venue for events and activities as long as only a few people require accessible features. Owned by Strathclyde University and available to their staff too. Went in December - tasteful Christmas decorations, and mist across Loch Lomond - picturesque.

A perfect place to spend a few days. Beautifully located, on the banks of Loch Lomand. Accommodation, food, and service all excellent. If the opportunity arises, my wife and I would be delighted to stay at Ross Priory again.

Just returned home from attending my husband's nephews wedding here. Beautiful scenery - the perfect backdrop for wedding photos and the weather Gods smiled on us by giving us a day without rain! The food at the reception is the best I've ever had at a wedding- absolutely delicious! The service was excellent too and a fabulous day was had by all! Congratulations to the happy couple Matt and Liliane.

Being a wedding photographer I see lots of venues in Scotland and I have photographed a number of weddings at Ross Priory. I am always spoilt for choice with locations, from the stunning views over loch lomond, to the gorgeous walled garden I could spend all weekend photographing couples here! The staff have always been so welcoming and accommodating which adds to the class of this lovely venue.

Lovely hotel but a bit far out and difficult to get to unless driving

The staff is welcoming and warm. The beds are firm and the pillows are soft. The decor is a bit dated, but sufficient for comfort and function. The rooms are large. The views are priceless!

WiFi can be patchy in the rooms and no aircon. But, it is a beautiful old house with fantastic gardens and views over Loch Lomond. Staff are amazing and the food is fabulous.
