We enjoyed staying in The Stables very much. This self-contained Cottage has two levels with double bed on the ground level and two singles on the upper. there is a kitchenette with sink kettle toaster and fridge. there is not a cooker or microwave however this was not an inconvenience to us. The bathroom is stocked with towels and toiletries. The owner Sheila was very generous with her continental breakfast offering. We were short of nothing and if we had been she would have gladly sorted it. Food was replenished every morning. It was very handy to be able to park the car right outside the door where we could pack and unpack it each day for hiking. stables for spotless and nicely decorated and have a lovely view over the farm land at the rear. We enjoyed watching the Farmer and bring his sheep in from the fields. The farm is an easy 20 minute walk from Balloch which allows for a few beers without driving, if you would like that. A taxi from the farm will cost you less than Β£5. There is a local bus but we didn't use it. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and there are a few accommodation options at the farm, so check out the website before you book.

We planned to stayed here for 2 nights but we finally stay here only 1 night because they are full. We stayed in a suit which has a mini kitchen and sofa in the living room. Breakfast is placed in the fridge which inclued yogurt, bread, strawberry, milk, coffee and biscuit. When you open the window, there are hundred of sheep in the farm. We don't have out own car so we took the car from the train station which cost about 6 pounds. a very nice farm, recommend

I absolutely love staying at Dumbain Farm, the rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila is so friendly and accommodating and makes sure our breakfast options are well stocked. It's so peaceful up on the hill overlooking Balloch and I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for an overnight stay in the area.

Stunning place, we had everything we need and it was sparkling clean. The host was amazing, very warm and welcoming . There was a small issue with a sound coming out of the boiler and the host did everything she could to make up for it and she even gave us a discount at the end! Amazing place

An absolutely lovely Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are very sizable and have great dΓ©cor. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. It was nice being able to park outside of our room as it made it easier for us to carry the bags in and out again. Our host Sheila was lovely and very welcoming, she gave some great recommendations on where to eat.

Just back from staying with Sheila for a few days. Come back here every year. Breakfast, rooms and host's excellent. Only 5 minutes drive into Balloch. Would highly recommend anyone who is visiting the area to stay with Sheila.
