Lovely! Constant birdsong & changing scenery. They’ve just opened a third, longer trail that goes through wetland (we saw an osprey!!) and woodland, down to Loch Lomond. We spent a couple of hours wandering round and chatted to Pauline (RSPB volunteer) before and after our walk. She was so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable - so big shout out to her! The shorter trails include a look out and picnic spot, and a dragonfly pond. The woodland trail also has lots of bird quizzes, aimed at children but fun for adults too. Paths were mostly fine gravel and even surfaces. Had two well maintained portaloos. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Absolutely gorgeous. We loved our visit and came back early the next morning and had the shore to ourselves. Staff are really knowledge and friendly. Nice walks around the reserve. No sign of ospreys or beavers but did see a tawny owl!

Great wee spot for a bit of wandering, wildlife spotting! And relaxing taking in some lovely views! We didn't get round to the big trails but all the paths we walked were buggy accessible. We had lots of fun spotting real wildlife and the odd little sculpture too. We also added some sticks to the den and found a huge feather! Looking forward to working out what bird it may have come from. Only wish we'd brought a picnic to make the most of the views and tables available.

This is a really amazing walk through varying wildlife habitats and the new boardwalk is really unique. Pauline Gray, the volunteer helped us determine which birds to look out for and her passion made the experience extra special. Loved this place (also has toilets, good parking and solid paths)

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Loch Lomond RSPB reserve! Lovely Pauline Gray welcomed us and was informative, knowledgeable and helpful: passing on invaluable facts about the local birds and wildlife. Despite a few raindrops, we loved wandering on the well-surfaced tracks; through the most stunning bluebells in the woodland; over the reedbeds on the new boardwalks, and down to the beautiful tiny beach and the panoramic views over the loch. We spotted many birds such as the redpoll for the first time (on the busy feeder by the entrance) and were aware of the presence of a sedge warbler by the dipping pond. Thank you Pauline for your kindness in imparting such a lot of local information, and being so fabulous! We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely little reserve, short circular walk with a nice sheltered hide looking over grassland and a pond area. Lots of birds on the feeders. Another accessible walk down to a viewpoint looking over Ben Lomond and the hills beyond. Very quiet and peaceful. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful woodland and boardwalk trails on the banks of Loch Lomond. This recently improved site has great smooth paths for all ages with a few short trails down to Loch Lomond. It does include a couple of step inclines but still passable on a mobility scooter. There is a pond with dipping sessions for the kids and plenty of wooden benches if you need a break to sit and enjoy nature. We took a picnic and stopped at a beautiful acorn themed bench. If you are looking for a few hours of peace and quiet this is the place for you. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

This is a lovely reserve with a good path, beautiful carved seats, a new board walk and a few places to picnic. When we visited we think we caught a glimpse of one of the Ospreys flying overhead. There is a pond and a nearby bird feeder where you will see lots of small birds. There isn't a visitor centre but there are toilets. They have just joined up the two original paths with a board walk.

Lovely walk and scenery through the woods to the pond, couldn’t spot any wildlife animals unfortunately. Midge Repellent would be useful. The staff were very nice, provided us with a map and explained how and where to go. Parking might be an issue as it’s for very limited number of vehicles.

Loch Lomond side is a beautiful place to live, and having this fantastic facility on our doorstep is tremendous. Visited this afternoon on what can only be described as a changeable day weather wise, but every change in the weather only emphasised how spectacular the local area is with its autumnal colours. Access to the RSPB site is clearly shown parking is good. There are facilities available, the marked footpaths are really well maintained and are suitable for most users. The volunteers are clearly enthusiastic and are keen to pass on their knowledge

Warm welcome and plenty of information on what's been seen recently. Car park isn't huge but it wasn't an issue for us. It's a fair walk down to the Loch itself but very picturesque and worth the walk. A few hides along the way as well as pond dipping available for the kids

Had a delightful walk at RSPB Loch Lomond. While we mainly spotted some birds of prey and squirrels, it's understandable given the season. A shout-out to Val, who was exceptionally helpful and informative throughout our visit. Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts.

Perfect place for a dog walk, swim in the loch and picnic! Been here lots of times and it has been beautiful since they have added in the new boardwalk across to the loch. Perfect place for a swim on a sunny day (if your brave enough) and looks gorgeous in all seasons!
