One night stop on our way from the Highlands back to England. Comfortable bed in a big room, although we visited during a heatwave, so it was far too hot. Dog friendly hotel - even allowed to accompany us to breakfast, which is unusual. No extra charge for the dogs, & there's plenty of room to walk them on the grassy area at the top 8f the carpark. Lovely breakfast, choice of full Scottish breakfast, scrambled or poached eggs,porridge etc. Very large portions.

Beautiful countryside, easy access to everywhere you need to go on holiday or for a short break and the Hotel rooms are immaculate. Breakfast is extra but well worth a dabble.

We arrived and the new owners weren't expecting us, but we were allocated a tidy room but a friendly guy. The room was lovely and warm and had everything you needed. It wasn't anything amazing but it was good value for money.

Needs a major sorting out not clean at all not recommended when you visit it on Google maps it shows a lot of things that are not true give it a miss

Ideal location for what I needed as the city has areas where vehicles over 5m can't be parked. Rooms are ok, could probably do with an update but that just going on the room I had. Breakfast was freshly cooked, definitely no complaints there..

Great place too stay Marius was really helpful sorted takeaway food for us and went beyond our expectations. Staff really friendly would encourage anybody stopping in the area too stop here.

Just a good honest hotel. Great customer service. Guy st the bars a character and done everything to make us feel at home.

Double room was extremely basic and mattress was like concrete. Not worthy the money paid to stay for a night.

Cleaned daily, room was very spacious & clean, breakfast was lovely & good price. Staff was warm and very welcoming nothing too much trouble. We chose this hotel as it is pet friendly, and it so was. Would definately recommend and stay again.

Security is terrible, I opened a fire door from the outside, very little info on booking, got a confirmation email , so turned up not booked in because they didn't ask for a deposit! Tossers. Stairs carpet is also a trip hazard.

Room not being cleaned for months no alternative for food vegan only vegan only bar do not book this place it's a dump!!

Avoid at all cost, definitely don't pay upfront!!! Looks empty and rundown, noone there at agreed check in time and noone answered the phone when we tried calling. The room was paid for in advance so the money is lost... Left to find alternative accommodation for the night, never received an answer to our complaint.
