Absolutely fantastic. We ended up there twice in three days it was that good. The clams were fab, simple and tasty. Don’t overlook dessert, the manchego cheesecake was wow. Also lovely staff. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Enjoyed sitting at the bar if you get the chance.

Stayed 7 Days in one of the apartments. All new and clean and modern, perfect and comfortable bed. Quiet air conditioning. Safe.TV . Fully equipped kitchen (if someone has the idea to cook there) . Small shop around the corner. Breakfast also possible, but perfect Spanish style breakfast at nearby San Lorenzo Square. We dinned twice in the restaurant , one needs to book In advance as there is high demand for this lively restaurant. excellent quality of dishes and tapas and wine.We will come back for sure.

Amazing, delcious food and really friendly quick service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The pork in the dill sauce was delicious, and the garlic spinach cigar was very special.

Best meal I have had in a very long time. Everything was so so damn tasty. The value for money was unbelievable. Would go again the day after if I could get a table.

Super busy restaurant that is hard to get into during peak hours. If you are okay with going midday during siesta just to try out the place, there is almost no one there. Highlights are the egg York and the honey ribs. My partner tried the sangria and he said it was excellent. Friendly staff as well.

Went here because good google reviews. But I have to say it’s disappointing. The long clams were VERY FISHY! Almost unbearable and I could only manage to eat one piece. Honey rib was ok but parts were dry, not amazing. Artichoke tasted good but more of the outside layers should have been peeled off-those layers were tough to chew… “Cigar” was tasty, surprisingly had a bit of sweet taste. The famous “egg yoke cake” was a very confusing dish- didn’t expect the sauce is sweet again! Anyways, this place is not my taste, or my friend’s. The dishes are unmemorable-apart from the fishy clams, and was a bit trying to hard ... definitely won’t recommend to others. What a shame!

Amazing food, must try in Seville. Even if you can’t get a reservation, the bar area is first come first served, and totally worth the wait. Everything tasted great, the octopus and pork were incredibly tender and all the dishes were so flavorful.

Hard to get a reservation but worth the effort. Amazing elevated tapas. Excellent service. Every bit as good as the hype. Honey ribs, egg yolk on spongecake, cuttlefish pastry, croquettes all were delicious as was everything else we tried. Let your server choose a few of his favorite tapas for you.

Warning: Make reservations weeks or months in advance to get the time slot you want to dine. The food is DELICIOUS and worth the drive outside the touristy area. The grilled octopus with mashed potatoes was so good. Also the tenderloin with blue cheese sauce was cooked to perfection. Chickpeas and spinach is a good starter. The honey ribs were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Great selection of wines and the whites come cold. Subtle and clean modern decor. The service was very friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

The best tapas and unique food I’ve ever had. Went with 6 people and ordered over 30 items and it was only $210 euros. Best deal ever. 100% worth the wait. You have to be open to trying unique foods though. Our favorites were the Duck, cigar, egg yolk, lamb, and croquette.

Fantastic in every way. A true highlight of our trip to Servile. You need to book at least a month in advance to get a table but if you do you will not be disappointed. Fantastic service, amazing food and wine and the 3 milk cake was outstanding!!

PHENOMENAL. My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here, and we were blown away. The dark haired waiter (whose name I didn’t catch but has been there 6 years!) was so generous with his time and descriptions even though it was so busy on a Tuesday night. The egg dish was Michelin star worthy…as was the black cigar tapa. And the honey rosemary ribs were third best. I’ve eaten at many restaurants in Sevilla and this was my favorite! Thank you for an unforgettable meal ❤️

Incredible tasting tapas. This place was packed! We had to wait because we didn’t have a reservation and even though they were booked solid, they told us to wait because they were going to squeeze us in. They fit us in after waiting about 20minutes and it was fantastic. They have a big wine selection. Get wine, not sangria. GET THE CIGAR, we ate 4 each!

In 10 days have eaten here 4 times. Worth the wait, found it impossible to reserve. The food, tapas, availability of wine by the glass and the service from the staff are outstanding. As a person who absolutely loves tripe I can say they have the best tripe I have ever eaten. Wish I could get the recipe.

The hosts were amazingly hospitable, and recommended their best dishes for us to try. We loved all but one of their offerings; The salmon soup, which we found out later is a typical dish here in Seville, was not to our liking. They took it off the menu without telling us, which was really nice of them. The small clams are a must have (with garlic butter sauce), and definitely try the duck pate and their ice cream dessert. Needless to say, we left a huge tip for them being so friendly and hospitable to us.

Great tapas for a great price. We especially enjoyed the honey ribs, cigar and chocolate tart. We had 4 tapas, 2 drinks and 2 desserts for 38 euros. We already have another reservation for this week.

Super place, the service is 5*****, the food is very special, unique and tasty and not so expensive, price is worth it! My recommendation is fishball🤩 And last but not least the best waiter in Sevilla is Pepe here 🥰

The squid ink cigar is a must try. I wasn’t a huge fan of the egg yolk dish nor the honey ribs (a bit dry and the potatoes were cold). Best to get here before 7:30 if you want a table without a reservation, I saw many people get turned away after 8pm. Worth trying if you like creative food.

Fantastic experience, we had no booking and walked up. Was advised simply to wait by the bar for a seat and within 10mins we were sat at the bar. It proved to be one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. Authentic to its core. Majority of patrons were Spanish, a real feeling of local community. The staff were excellent and looked after us attentively but relaxed even through our server didn’t speak English and we Spanish. We sat back and allowed our man to chose the wine and dish of the day. The food came when ready and was fresh and tasted beautiful. 5/6 courses with 3 glasses of wine and lovely port to finish for less than 100 euro. The local community feel, amazing service and beautiful food was as good as I’ve ever had

Throughout my career in the restaurant industry, rarely have I seen such a professional staff. If you delight in both Spanish tapas and French gastronomy, this place is for you. The dish that forced me to post this review was the helado de queso viejo con salsas de membrillo y goji (manchego ice cream with sauces of quince and goji). Not to be missed (particularly with a glass of vino de naranja).

Researching Seville for our upcoming trip I came across this restaurant in a locals blog and I booked it straight away ... that was 2 months ago . Eslava did not disappoint at all !! It was a very hot day and I was very thankful I booked the line for non bookings was big and the bar area for stand up service was full. We were guided down the back to our table , service was amazing as was food ! The tapas are small so order loads they are so tasty and reasonably priced . Every mouthful was delicious and it did not disappoint .

Tapas taken to the next level is what you’ll find here, sit outside if the sky is clear. If you like to try new flavours you have nothing to fear, a full Seville-like experience taken to the next tier. Food is crafted, assembled and carefully cooked, so make sure that a table you’ve booked. The place can gets busy as everyone seems to be hooked. Very good value for money. Our favorite was the cheese ice cream with something that taste like honey. Maybe not for everyone as it can be heavy on the tummy. A true experience on this wonderful country.

One of the best tapas experience ever. Octopus cooked so tenderly. Croquet and cigar was delicious. Has English speaking staff, but quite limited in fluency. Fried baby squid was so juicy inside.

One of the best meals that I had in Seville! Pick a few tapas and ask them to suggest a wine to go with it, and you won't be disappointed. It's a very different experience if you eat in the dining room versus at the bar, so go twice and enjoy yourself!

  • 5/5 Rachael K. 10 months ago on Google
The food was amazing and delicious. We had the salmon, beef tapa, the egg yolk dish to name a few. The four of us tried around eight different dishes between us and enjoyed every one. I was surprised when the bill came and I had to check it as I thought that they may have missed something off, but they hadn't.

Have now stayed twice at Eslava Hotel. A great option for staying in central Sevilla. Quite spacious and all necessary comforts of an apartment hotel. Fabulous assistance from Gema who gave us detailed instructions for getting to the apartment and the optional car parking that we needed for our latest stay. Plus, it’s right above one of the best restaurants in Sevilla! What more could you ask for?

Hands down the best place I have eaten in Sevilla and probably the best tapas place I've been to. Too bad we didn't discovered it earlier otherwise we would have come every single day. I was so impressed by the squid ink cigar and by the salmorejo. Service was excellent too. Truly unforgettable.

We just didn’t understand the fuss at all and were really disappointed. The food was below average and incredibly sweet and very mushy. Perhaps it’s an acquired taste but we would not recommend this to anyone. We even tried the famous egg dish, but to us it just tasted like marmalade …? Also the restaurant itself is incredibly squished and not a comfortable experience.

This is simply one of the best places in the city to have high quality food and reasonable prices with incredible service. If you want to eat inside you can make a reservation though we always go to the bar and high tables outside for tapas. Located close to the former house of the historical poet Gustavo Adolfo Becquer, they even have a tapa in their honour. Everything is fresh and has options for vegans and vegetarians. A must when visiting Seville!

Fantastic restaurant serving traditional food with a distinct modern edge. Beautiful tapas (deep fried anchovies, courgette cake, sirloin with blue cheese sauce) and the best ever slow cooked lamb. What a feast! Booked our table more than 3 months ago, so pleased I did!

  • 5/5 Rufus S. 8 months ago on Google
Incredible ice cream- the cheese ice cream is genuinely the best dessert I think I’ve ever had. Before this we had some traditional tapas and took a few risks too and all of it was superb. Seville is a fantastic city for food but this is at the very top.

Eslava undoubtedly ranks among the most outstanding dining experiences I've ever had. Given our inability to secure a reservation, we took a chance and walked in on a weekend evening, and to our pleasant surprise, secured a spot at the bar. Every tapas plate we selected delivered unique flavours. Really enjoyed the Cigar rolls, Artichoke, Fried sardines and Croquettes. The (one too many) glasses of Sangria were perfect. And the Tiramisu for dessert was impeccably creamy and delicious. For anyone visiting Seville, Eslava is a culinary treasure not to be missed. I highly recommend making a reservation online well in advance, particularly if your visit falls on a weekend.

Place was recommended by a local tour guide. We came around 715pm and it was already crowded. We ordered mostly tapas and the food was fantastic. The dessert was even better!

  • 5/5 Sammy S. 2 years ago on Google
Simply fantastic. Some of the best food I’ve had in Spain. We ordered 7 tapas and 2 desserts between 2 people and this was a perfect amount (if very filling- we couldn’t help ordering more). Particular favourites were: the cuttlefish ‘cigar’, slow cooked egg yolk with mushroom cake and courgette cake. A decent number of choices for vegetarians (not always the easiest in Spain). Service was incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially helped in selecting appropriate wine for our tapas and Sherry for dessert. An outside table in the square is recommended if the weather is suitable as you get a lovely view of the church. If you book you will have the option of the tapas along with main dishes (if you don’t book and go to the tapas only section main dishes won’t be available).

  • 5/5 Gabriel S. 7 months ago on Google
If you are in Seville you cannot miss this restaurant. Beware it is a very busy restaurant, so reserve with time. I had luck that I walked in without reservation and someone was leaving the outside tables and boom, great experience food and, views if you sit outside higlhy recommend.

  • 3/5 Bobby W. 7 months ago on Google
It is a very busy restaurant. The service is very good! It wasn't very late when we arrived, but the popular dishes were sold out. The meatballs and cuttlefish cigars were great.

  • 5/5 El 5 months ago on Google
The tapas are fantastic! Every time a new one came to your table it was another wonderful experience! Tapas came fast, warm and at a good cadence to enjoy each one. If you want to sit inside definitely do a reservation. Sangria also very good and can recommend 👍

We visited this place two times in our short stay in Sevilla. Delicious and very well-prepared tapas, especially the seafood cigar was exquisite. The waiters were presentable and dressy, always kind and with a warm smile.

I have been trying to dine here several times and I finally made it on my third attempt. I recommend making reservations in advance. Their signature tapa is "A cigar for Becquer". This is a must when you get here. Really good. The croquettes are good. The pisto is normal (just sauteed vegetables with a tomato sauce). The roasted mackerel was good, but with way too many spines; I do not recommend it. The sokoa was delicious. I give this place 5 stars just because of the cigar. Next time I would order 4 of them. Prices are more than reasonable, cheap if you consider the level of this place. I am not sure why this place is categorized as a hotel. It is a restaurant only, from what I can see.

  • 5/5 D S. 2 years ago on Google
An absolute must in Sevilla! The price/value ratio is unbeatable, all 3 dishes I tried were equisite - the cigarillo and sweet ribs deserve special mention. Service is top though as others advised, reservations are strongly recommended. They did operate a waiting list the night I went so it's possible to put your name down, go out for drinks and come back later.

Impressive Score: 10/10 Great ingredients and masterfully prepared from the more traditional dishes to the one more creative. From meat that melts is your mouth to fish and mussels perfectly soft and juicy. The menu is mainly composed by classical dishes although creative options do not lack. In both cases the quality is there. What really impressed us were the "Un cigarro para Bequer" and the octopus. To top the great food the personnel is very nice, happy and professional. Definitely a place to return to and recommend. Price: 76€ for a dinner (mainly fish) for 2 people including glasses of wine, desert and coffee.

(Translated by Google) Going to Seville without eating at the Eslava is a waste of the trip. They are fantastic (I am a huge fan) and they have known how not to die of success. This kitchen seems like a great idea to me. It got out of hand when ordering and I ended up leaving with two bags of which 4 people ate (lunch and dinner). After a moment of mental panic to see that they did not have the old cheese ice cream, I asked and without any problem they ordered it from the restaurant to give it to me. What else does the deal say? Super friendly and with recommendations on how to heat the dishes (yes, honey ribs in a pan better than microwave).

Elevated tapas bar, style setting and very fast paced behind the scenes. It’s like a theatre production watching the chefs and front of house staff all working in harmony. Food was excellent, squid ink cigar was the best thing I’ve eaten all year. Clams were so flavourful ate every last one. Popular spot waiting is expected, I ate standing in between others but it was an amazing food experience eating here. 🇪🇸

Ecstatic! The staff to the wine, from croquettes to bread everything was so good. A bit disappointed by the acorn fed iberico but it doesn’t let any ratings to drop. Definitive a must go in Seville.

Came across this place for an early dinner, and it was a great experience. Fine dining vibes at a wallet-friendly price, with great and attentive service as we were seated at the bar. Especially loved the nondescript Zucchini cake - very well done. The slow-cooked egg was also an interesting gastronomical experiment. Everything was plated very well, and you can tell that it was done with pride.

Went without a reservation and waited for a seat at the bar, but it was worth the wait! All the food we ordered was phenomenal, for me it was the truffle egg! It was so well balanced and just divine. My husband especially loved the cigar. We found the service hit and miss depending on the waiter but it was also very busy and the food is that good to compensate the wait.

Stunning. Every single dish was interesting and delicious, and we tried a lot of dishes. Very good service in a busy and clearly thriving restaurant. We just managed to get a booking for lunch at 1, it didn’t matter full menu on offer and a full house too. Book or Youl be turned away. Ridiculously good value! one of the best meals I’ve had this year!

The service is excellent, 5 stars. Fluent English, quick serving, change plates whenever it's needed. However, they don't pick up the phone. All reservation has to be done online and if you want to add a person, you have to go there and talk to them. A bit inconvenient. But staff are very friendly. As a foreigner, I didn't like this place at the first visit. Honestly speaking, for asian people, the food are a bit salty, especially the famous "cigar". And the boletus cake tasted quite strange as well. The dessert was very sweet. However, after living in Sevilla for over five years and adapting the Spanish taste, I'd say they are really good. The dessert almost make me cry. For sure there is a hype for this place in any travel guide of Seville, I'd say it's not for everyone. Anyway, it's an experience.

We were here twice during our trip in Sevilla. A good variety of choice in food & drinks. We like the tapas & todays special. As you can see from the photos, they are specially designed. Besides, most of them taste really good(particularly vegetables). Our young waiter & the owner were very nice. Tip for the others: it seems now you can make a reservation in advance, which will help you avoid the queue.
