My husband and I wanted to leave our food and walk out. Sent back the Blooming onion twice because it was cold and raw both times, shrimp tacos were mostly corn hardly any shrimp, I got the braised short ribs that was okay but it had old carrots on it, the pizza was raw. My favorite part is when we asked our server about the carrot she said “ that’s a carrot..” like yes we know our veggies but why is it green? We usually get the same thing every time and it’s good. I’m disappointed in myself for actually paying for this meal.

This review is only for their buffet!!! $12.95 per person for brunch on New Year Eve (with prime ribs)! It is said, eat like locals here! A great variety of choices (from free made waffle and omelette to honey roasted ham and prime ribs, fruits and desserts)! Food is okay (not great) but it has great value!!! The service is great!!! (Our waiter - Travis provided exceptional considerate service!!!) Environment is good!

First time here and I have to say, "disappointed" place was not busy and service was slow and terrible. It was our 7th year anniversary and well I was excited, I will say that my wifes food was a 5 it was ok, my food was 3 out of 10, the stake was over cooked. I asked for a medium fillet mignon and what they brought out was a well done chard tasting fillet... so disappointed; my expectations where so different to begin with.

I was really looking forward to having breakfast but no one answered the phone to give me information (not good for customer service) on the restaurant hours. I drove over, and I found out the restaurant is closed Mon-Wed. 😩 I asked at the players' club why it was closed, and she told me they were short staffed. Please hire more people, at least to man the phones. 🤨🤨🤨

We went for a couple of days couple weeks ago and had such a good time we went and spent Easter Sunday there. Had lunch in the cafe, which was okay, could have been a little tastier but the waitress was good and took care of our requests. The machines were much looser the first visit, but hey, who goes to a casino expecting to win every time? We'll be back, it's not such a big place that overwhelmed. And love the 1c games.

This casino is smaller than others nearby but we found it welcoming. Nice variety of machines but no video craps or roulette to speak of. The cafe had great food, despite other reviews our blooming onion was hot and delicious, next time we are trying the lobster!

This is a small but cute casino , we had a good time. I like that you just give the machine your license and it prints out your players card . After you get your card, there is a kiosk right next to it , make sure to register and they give u $ free play money I won $10 , my buddy won $15 and left with almost $50 bucks .But eat before you go ! Cafe 54 is like low end cafeteria or hospital food at best . I had the lobster fettuccine Alfredo, and u guess it rubbery and hard to eat. The appetizer the blooming onion was small , but delicious. I might go back and try the basics like a burger or go for breakfast. The reason I went is I saw a review in Palm springs life that this is the hidden gem of the Coachella valley. I was excited, only to be disappointed. Maybe they have good breakfast who knows.

Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and old machines. So glad it is smoke-free. Monday & Tuesday they have a $5 hamburger, fries, and soda deal because the restaurant is not open. The machines were pretty tight; bonuses were few and far between. Lost my allowance so left early in the evening.

First time there and were confronted, not greeted, by the security guards who were there in mass for whatever reason. No hello, no welcome, just a demand to drop the energy drink I had brought in, in the trash, which i was planning to anyway since it was empty. Aside from that, the bartenders and other service people were really nice. I love that it's non-smoking! Slots were not as loose as I had hoped.

Great dining, but it is only open four days a week. I want their Buffets to return. Menu has many varied selections.

I went with nothing & left with over $200.00!! && The Mango Margarita "Mexicali Style" is absolutely to die for! Its served in a decent size cup with tajin around the rim & some chamou swirled inside & finished with a Tamarindo candy & an orange slice for only $9.00!!
