as the highest rated restaurant in Coats, we had high expectations for service and quality of food. the server was very welcoming and allowed us to sit where we pleased. complimentary chips were served promptly after seating. the chips came out warm and delicious. the complimentary salsa was a smooth water salsa with just the right amount of heat. it was a blended salsa, not chunky. we ordered the choriqueso and a lunch shredded chicken chimichanga. the prices are average and reasonable. the food came out piping hot within minutes. delicious. food quality was higher than expected. we decided to order a shrimp burrito and two tamales as well. they also came out very very quickly and we're just as delicious. over all expectations were exceeded and they deserve 5 stars for food quality, service and ambiance. well done

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I had high hopes because overall their reviews were high although I can not understand at all how. Atmosphere is shabby. Food was not very good and rice was barely warm. My meal included tortillas but never brought. My meal also included a salad.I requested ranch dressing. The waitress brought an already open and used bottle of KRAFT brand ranch dressing. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. I never in my life have seen such a thing nor would I ever expect a used bottle of KRAFT dressing be served. I was lost for words and decided not to ruin my friends meal or dining experience by confronting the management. They just also were shocked and not satisfied with their meals either. Our waitress was also unfriendly and acted like she could care less about serving us. We decided that we would definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Some serious attention is in order as to improving all aspects of this restaurant.

This is hands down the Best Mexican food around! It is always delicious and served hot and quickly! The owners are such nice, friendly, and welcoming people. My husband and I dine here regularly. The menu offers many traditional Mexican dishes that you won't find elsewhere. Out of this world!

Viva Zapata is the definition of delicious food based upon family values. As a Mexican, it is hard to come across delicious Mexican cuisine. The waitress was very kind and was able to give suggestions of various things on the menu. I have been recommended this establishment and tried their famous Pollo Zapata. The grilled chicken dish was delicious and served with a tasty bed of rice. The service was great, as the owners and the employees treat you like family and immerse you in the culture. This is the best restaurant I have dined in Harnett County!

Absolutely best Mexican cuisine I've ever eat. The staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. If ever traveling through this area again we will definitely be stopping to eat again!!

Be careful, the prices on the online menu are not correct, ordered shredded chicken nachos and chicken fajitas, one cheese dip and was charged $37. The food is ok, but based on pricing I would expect much larger portions and more than a small dipping cup of salsa when ordering take out.

This is our favorite place for Mexican food. My husband and I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past 2+ years. We found it when family members had moved nearby. Otherwise I am not sure we would have ever found it. Over time, we are recognized every time we visit and that is so nice to feel like you are going to a restaurant where you are always welcomed and appreciated. If you are looking for delicious Mexican food in the Coats area, you will not be disappointed. Our favorite dishes are ACP, Poblanos, fajitas, cheese dip, and Horchata.

😐 I don't know if they were having an off day or what, the food is normally really good but today I ordered sweet and sour chicken the chicken was like it had been cooked then dropped in the grease again. Then I found a tail from a piece of fried shrimp in my rice. They may cook the chicken and shrimp...
