After Doug’s open heart surgery we needed a place where Doug could walk the required 2 miles a day. Decatur Athletic Club has an air conditioned track above their exercise area. One of the extra blessings is watching others exercise while you walk the 50-60 minutes.

I don’t live in this area but if I was I would’ve definitely come to this gym every day, it was worth every penny of my $10, I hope I could come back to Alabama so I can come to this gym again and again and again ♾️.

I joined Decatur Athletic Club yesterday. They have the best walking track. You don’t have to worry about rain or cold or hot. It’s inside. So far so good I really like it. If you guys need to walk or need to exercise it’s a really good place to try out it really nice there too.

I came for the low impact class a week ago Tuesday. I was early and did a couple of the machines. Then went to do the low impact class. My advice if you are not too far out from knee replacement don't do anything before you do the class. I loved the class but had to leave early because I over did it. I sure enjoyed.

I like it the set up is amazing the bathrooms are gorgeous and the weights are heavier than usual so your definitely gonna feel your workout

I cannot express the full extent of how amazing this gym is! I started a few months ago and MAN! The staff is so warm and inviting, knowledgeable and so upbeat! They will hype you up now! The equipment is top of the line and everything is kept up so nice, clean and tidey! You will not regret the transition! Come on!

It was an enjoyable experience to become a new member of Decatur Athletic Club. We were treated so well as we were shown such a large facility with outstanding equipment and explained the services and classes made available to all members. The price was so low one could not help but say we want to join. I promise, if you are looking for a gym you will say the same thing.

This is a great place to workout, I use different gyms all over the country when traveling, and I always look forward to using this gym as a guest whenever I’m in town. Great atmosphere, tons of equipment and it’s impeccably clean!! The staff is super friendly, specifically Abby and Jimmy who I’ve chatted with when I’ve come in, down to earth great people. If I lived in area, I would be a member here! Highly recommend!

Excellent range of equipment, all in great condition and kept clean. The facility itself is also kept immaculate, the staff are very friendly and professional, and it's quite spacious. One of the nicest gyms I've had the pleasure of lifting at. Great smoothies too, I tried the wild berry banana: well blended, no chunks, not too watery.

I just recently switched gyms. And all I can say is WOW ! I sure was missing out at the other one. The staff is wonderful so helpful and not to mention they even have child care and smoothie bar. Treats this Ole lady luke family ❤️I feel so welcomed here..

I was on the hunt for a gym to workout at and I could not for the life of me find one that fit my budget and offered a wide selection of equipment, as well as, being 24/7. Then I saw it. The "perfect" gym.
