Not up to the mark!! heavy rush there, not easy to grab a seat and we need to wait for a long time, and it's not worth it. Their mutton dishes are good but not the other, too expensive and not worth that money! Small parking is there, but tight! One good thing, we don't need to wait for food after ordering them that's quick and easy. Servicing is also fine. But I'm not very happy with the food and it's quality, some are not well cooked and tastes are a little different.

A highly sought-after place due to the influencers , this place is small and was houseful when we visited. Evenings usually are busy is what the manager told us. The food wasn’t super good but was bad either . The highlight for us was the litchi chat which was super flavoursome and satisfying. Prices at Hoy Punjab is slightly lower than Punjab grill and we found the food to be may be 3rd best for Cochin’s standard ( Punjabi food). Very average experience. The interiors are well done but lacks a fine dine feel due to the congestion. Overall an average experience.

What a place to dine in for authentic truly non veg punjabi! From starters to the dessert everything was divine in its own ways. Enjoyed the hospitality, the waiters were courteous and knew their duties well. Pro tip: must try their mutton soup. One of best I have ever had in my life. (No, I am not a foodie)

As authentic Punjabi as it can get in Kochi. Some oriental and pasta options do exist for variety though. The parking space adjacent to the place is sufficient based on the number of tables here and cars won't have a problem going in and put (I am writing this specifically as people were wary about this in prev reviews). Expect a waiting time during peak hours. We had to wait for about 30 mins when we reached at 9.30 pm. Service was prompt, cutlery was good and the ambience was great though the selection of music needs work and the volume needs to be lower than the current bhangra level. We had the Dahi kebab and the kalmi kebab as starters (5 pcs each). The dahi kebab was mellow in taste and went well with the green chutney. The kalmi kebab was spicy and smoky chicken leg pieces which were nicely done. The paya shorba was just ok and the manchow soup was also mediocre. We tried the mutton rogan josh for the main course. 4 mutton pieces, well cooked and soft. Enough for 4 people after starters and soup. We tried the cheese naan, garlic naan, missi roti and the laccha paratha which were all freshly prepared and good, but the cheese naan stood out. Overall a great place for punjabi food if you do not mind spending over 600 per head.

Decided to visit this restaurant after seeing the google reviews. The atmosphere and ambiance is good. Food was just average. Tandoori chicken starter was good and chilli naan too. Rest all was just average. Didn’t like the gol gappa at all. Also, if you decide to take non veg bone in chicken items they only serve leg piece which is odd. Not everyone is a fan of chicken legs and I don’t understand why they do that. Also the portion size is small when compared to the cost. Apart from food, the hospitality was good.

Great staff & food was served super fast. Lychee with Rabdi was stellar, so was the Amritsari Machhi & Kulcha. The chicken changezi was a flavour-bomb however all were leg pieces which personally isn't my fav choice of cut. Space was a bit confined in comparison to other similar restaurants, one can easily be part of the conversation from the nearby table. The decor was warm & bright, akin to the food. Prices are at par for a once-a-month splurge, otherwise you'll burn a hole in your pocket. Consider around 2.5 k in total for a soup, fish starter, rice main, curry main, bread & dessert. Would surely revisit & recommend for authentic north indian flavors.

This restaurant is our favourite place whenever we crave North Indian food. Excellent, authentic Punjabi food. We have always enjoyed Rola Cola, Chukandar Kebab, Palak Chaat, Golgappa, Shikanji, Khameeri Roti, and Dal Makhani. Excellent hospitality by all the members of the staff, especially Ms Mary.

Recently visited the Hoi Punjab! 10 on 10 for service and ambience. Loved the decor. Also the food is very good. There is a pinch of authentic taste in all their dishes. The signature chicken curry is a must try.

Pretty decent Punjabi food. I'd easily rate it one of the best in Kochi. The service is outstanding! The manager especially went out of his way to accommodate us.

The ambience is awesome and so are the staff. This is our second visit and the food served is very unique and the must try items are chicken tikka lychee chaat, Kalmi kebab, Amritsari kulcha, mutton biriyani, veg thaali and lychee rabdi. The pricing is good for the quality except for amritsari kulcha which is priced 200 per kulcha. Overall the experience was amazing

The restaurant is located at a pretty quite locality. Ambiance of the place was embracing. Staff were professional, polite, humble, and diligent specially i want to mention name of Staff Mary and Kim C. C. Services were very prompt and quite sharp. The orders were prepared and presented in a brisk. The wait time was hardly 4-5 minutes which was quite impressive considering the overall gathering. Presentation, plating and finishing was superb. Food items were delicious and mouth watering. It's a perfect place for family, friends group or couples for a fine dine in. All in all had an awesome experience visiting at the restaurant.

We decided to visit this place for dinner. The assorted veg starters were really tasty. We also had rotis, stuffed cheese naan, jeera rice, chutney pulao, dal makhni and one panneer gravy. The chutney pulao was really tasty and the dal makhni was wonderful. Overall the food tasted wonderful. We felt the place to be a be a bit overpriced

To eat best authentic North Indian food this is the best restaurant. From the service especially, Ms. Sadaf she was so good and she was helping us throughout for anything we asked. Beautiful ambiance with authentic food . The whole restaurant is neat and well maintained, interiors are designed well. Chef Dinesh from Delhi have that much quality in his food, the food he served palak patha chat , kalmi kabab, chicken tikka masala, phirni everything was top notch. The manager Mr. sooraj gave a warm welcome to us and guided us well in the food menu.

We would like to thank you for the amazing food and service. We had ordered Ghee rice, Paneer Tikka masala, Bhoondi Raita (Unfortunately Bhoondi Raita got over and had to order Pineapple Raita) and Butter Naan. Most important thing everything is arranged beautifully. Desi people will love it. 💕

Had our lunch from the Kacheripady outlet on the last week of August. A medium sized parking slot was provided nearby. The interior was elegant, awesome and classy. We ordered veg and nonveg thaali and a mohabbat ka sharbat. Except the rajma in thaalis everything was fine and delicious. The staff were courteous. The menu is slightly expensive but it’s a must try. (28.08.2023)

Hoy Punjab located in Kacheripady near Ernakulam North is famous for North Indian dishes especially Panjabi style. The restaurant is beautifully designed which makes it a good destination for the families. The food was tasty but not worth it for the money they charge. The minimum amount for a Veg dish is Rs.379 Rs and for nonveg it is 479 for a normal portion. We ordered Butter naan and it was awesome. For naan Rs 89/piece. We tried some of their signature dishes, but I won't say it as much great as highlighted. The atmosphere was great....

It's a wonderful restaurant offering authentic Punjabi delicacies. The food is not too spicy, absolutely fresh and finger licking delicious. We had Mutton Dum biryani, paneer tikka masala, Nan, Dahi kebab, Pani Puri and chiken tikka. Dahi kebab was absolutely amazing and it almost melted in the mouth. This is a 'must try dish' even for non-vegetarians , especially if one has not travelled much in Northern India . Nan was soft and all other dishes were yummy. The only problem was in paneer tikka masala as it was a bit sour than normal. We had phirni and rasmalai which were fabulous.. Though the restaurant is not too big in size the decor gives it a feel of space . The staff treats everyone politely . All of them had a smile when we reached there but later as the place became full (being weekend ) there was a bit of chaos created by staff who were walking briskly probably to cater to the customer demands well in time. Some of the staff were not even giving way to the customers as is the normal practice. And the floor was dirty with some foot marks in the main aisle. The restaurant manager should pay attention to such things in the future lest it may affect the restaurant's image in the long run. The washrooms are clean however lots of tissues were lying on the floor...which apparently was done by customers but the restaurant needs to pay more attention to such situations and probably clean it again . With all the above observations also the place is amazing and worth a visit if u love Punjabi food. The prices are not inexpensive but it's worth every penny as the quantity as well as quality is really good. The restaurant has free parking right in front (which is limited) and another exclusive parking space just adjacent to it , which is sufficient to cater to all the customers. One could reserve the table through Zomato and Zomato Pro offers 10% discount if u use the Zomato app for payment.
