Went for the brunch buffet recently. The food and drinks were quite good. Good service by the staff. Few things that got in the way of having a really great time: 1. A staff working the indoor seating area seemed to have no idea how to handle guests, and curtly told us all tables were reserved. He kept saying “no, it’s reserved ma’am” instead of telling where else we could be seated. Thankfully a lady staff came to our rescue. 2. Prior to the visit, I had called the front desk to know the timings and cost per person. They gave me the wrong cost(which we later found out was the old rate) and we ended up paying almost twice the amount. Although the amount was fine by us, it was still a bad situation, and when we talked to the person in charge of the dining space, he acted dismissive and perfunctory. Honestly, we expected the staff to be better than this at place like the Hyatt. 3. when we raised the issue regarding the cost at the front desk, they said they’ll connect the call to their manager. They never did, and I never got a call back. The rest of the staff, the place, the ambience and food had been amazing.

To be frank this kind of experience is something I would try because of curiosity to explore, not that it's affordable for me As the name says the place definitely offers the bed of luxury. The lobby itself is so huge and spacious the feel of next level starts form there. One thing to be taken care is Govt ID for all people who stay is mandatory. WE have a challenge because of us was not having out of 5. We had to manage it with some time waiting in the lobby to get the rooms allocated. But once inside the room its again so spacious and the the view to the lake is so nice . You can definitely sit for hours looking the water space. Restrooms/ Bathrooms are also so spacious and it has a glass window with shades to open and close to have a view to the lake through the room. (Remember to book the lake side rooms) At evening one can have a nice sunset view and a small walk around the property. Night can be spend in the roof top restaurant with a glass of wine or cocktail. I forgot the name of the Boy who helped us through out orders and suggestions. Morning its a perfect time for splendid 5 star breakfast and can easily spend 3 hours exploring the variety of items and view from the restaurant. In a nut shell its a place where you can relax and spend your time in lap of luxury with a view in Kochi. Thanks to the whole team.

We siblings stayed last Nov. for 4 days and it was the best vacation for our family. Courteous staff, amazing view and vibes, evening boat ride..simply memorable. Had a grand brunch at the rooftop. A very interesting spread of grills, live pasta counter, live salad station and unending cocktails. My son and daughter-in-law made it a grand birthday to remember. The service was excellent and I liked the idea of trying new dish suggestions sent to tables from the live counters. I loved the little salads, the good service and the fabulous view.. would love to go there again and definitely recommend this place.

What a beautiful day. We went to the Malabar cafe for buffet lunch. The spread was lavish, though limited continental options were available, maybe because they focus on showcasing Indian cuisine. The staff were too good, attentive but not overbearing. Paying attention to even the minute details. The chef went out of her way to entertain our little one. We spent hours at the restaurant and on the premises. Lovely outdoors, we wish to return during the evening to enjoy the ambience.

This Grand Hyatt is one of the best hotel I stayed. The panoramic view from the back water side is exceptional. The complementary breakfast, room service, boating in the evening, swimming pools, walkways interconnected with Lulu international convention centre, neat and clean garden, and highly professional staff in all service locations makes our stay memorable. Sunset boating was fabulous. The greenery around with lots of systematically planted coconut trees, and palm trees are there in the garden. A unique ambiance in the night with proper lights makes something different and colourful. Beautifully arranged fresh flowers at many locations is another attraction. Fast check in counters and security scanning. The property is well connected with road, close to airport and railway station. In short, we enjoyed the stay.

The view of the beautiful lake from the balcony is amazing. Stayed in a Grand Terrace Suite here. Well maintained spacious rooms and terrace, with great ambience. Excellent buffet breakfast @Malabar Café, even though it was bit crowded. All the staffs were helpful with nice housekeeping facilities. Decent kids zone for games and activities. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay.

Try and not miss the sunset boat cruise offered here - starting at Rs650+taxes/person (Rs700+taxes/person on weekends) is a must try during stay. Great place to stay in Kochi. Surrounded by back water. Amazing view, excellent ambience, good service. Thai restaurants at basement, Malabar at Lobby level and two roof top restaurant out of which one bar restaurant. There is a attached international convention center having all modern facilities. All directions have great view. Water sports, multiple swimming pool etc. Now I will highlight the issues; Veg and non veg food was kept together in a random way. Vegetarian has to be very cautious as even pickles were randomly placed. There was water pressure issue in room no 733, I stayed and complained many times but not addressed.

I’m an Dining club member, The truth is once you take the membership they take you for granted and are unresponsive. I had 2 memberships taken for myself and my dad, booking a room is a big hassle. I’m sure I’ll never take this again or recommend anyone because it’s the mindset that matters. Till you take the membership there is a lot of value and after that it’s like you need to keep mailing then and calling them to get a confirmation. Had to resort to a public review because even on your mail, you don’t give a reply or acknowledge the hassle that was caused.

The hospitality of staffs of the Malabar Cafe are commendable and heart-warming. However, I was absolutely dissatisfied by the desert section and definitely blew away that feeling of a perfect ending. Not okay at all... 😐

The view towards the sea is awesome. Haven't spent much time here and hence my review has its limitation. The annoying part is the approach road. Tall walls on either side of the entrance (brings some kind or insecurity feeling) and an automated bollard barrier and the security check takes some time. They do have a small tea shop close by the lobby that serves typical country snacks. For conducting events the per plate cost ranges between 3400* to 6000* per plate depending on your requirement. The cost of venue is billed separately as of my info.

Went there for lunch buffet with my tram. Valet parking, customer service and ambience was excellent. Malabar cafe have an excellent view and arrangements. It was not a rush time. Customer service agent (Sunita if I remember) did a mention here. Food spread was vast but except juices, pastries and cakes, taste was average for price. Overall a satisfied visit.

Very good food. BUT i wish the management would bring a dress code for the restaurant guests. Feels like you are sitting in a roadside tea shop..shorts and rubber slippers, with some of them sitting with one leg folded on the chair seat. All that was missing was the paan. We went to Vembanadu Hall (gate 4) and it was awesome! The feeling was of absolute spaciousness even in the parking area. The staff were very courteous and knew when to be there when they were needed. As for the food it was delicious delicious and more delicious! 😋 Today my regret is that I didn't eat enough while I was there😅

Overall stay was excellent and superb. It was awesome stay. Very nice property and maintained excellent. Hospitality is to the core. Breakfast buffet is wide varieties and food is tasty. One small suggestion is inroom when we are staying for 2 days they should refill the shampoo and they are not checking it at all.

As hotels go this one is something else. Located in a vast campus with plants of all shades the ambiance is worthy of all the stars it has. The monumental foyer is like giant ambient lighted cave with a very high roof. The rooms are rather small but reasonably comfortable. Staff polite and friendly in an aloof way. Food is surprisingly tasty for five star hotel.

Nice, well located hotel. Awesome buffet spread for breakfast with very good service. The hotel has some very interesting metal sculptures installations all over. The hotel is connected to the Lulu Bolgatty convention center which makes it a convenient choice to host large events. Rooms are well appointed and spacious, was a little disappointed not to get one with the view of the backwaters though. Do look out for the unique slippers they provide in the rooms :)

Amazing location with each room having stunning views of the bay. Food was great as well (special mention for the widespread breakfast buffet). Their rooftop bar was also an amazing place to unwind in the evening with amazing views of the sea. Would definitely recommend staying here when in kochi.

A must visit place, even if it is just for a meal. If you have some good money, please visit this place, at least for a meal. We visited the Thai Soul. The bill was between Rs.4,000 and Rs.5000 for two people. However, the food, ambience, atmosphere, outdoors and the property is top class, and absolutely breath taking. A different level altogether. Highly recommend a visit or even a few nights stay.

Grand Hyatt Kochi exceeded my expectations was spotless the staff was amazing , friendly and makes customers feel welcome going above and beyond to make stay comfortable. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Club access lounge was spot on. Definitely coming back! A small suggestion ,it would be great to have an option for gym and spa memberships not limited to in-house guests only.

Stayed here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the doors! We have travelled far and wide and have stayed at amazing hotels worldwide this experience was up there with some of the best! Ms. Swati with guest relations was absolutely charming and went above and beyond to make our trip and stay extremely special! We will be back!!!

Very beautiful view. There are slides for kids in the lawn. We opted for a buffet. Food is of very good quality. All options are available for both veg and non-veg. There is a beautiful pool area too with a water slide

We were given a suite...we loved it and it had a beautiful view . we spend the entire afternoon by the window side. Grand lounge was a good add on. Don't think twice just add it to complete the experience

A must visit hotel for stay and conference meetings. The services are also nice and quick response from the staff and the manager. The hotel is also clean and hygienic and they have a serious watch on their hygiene. The food quality is good and tasty.

Positively a sanctuary for foreign travelers in this part of Kerala. The rooms were upscale, immaculate, and superbly appointed. The staff made you feel safe and well taken care of. Highly recommended.

First of all... A fantastic hotel to stay I prefer all to stay here if you are coming to kochi... Nothing more to stay... had uploaded a video of the room and the view.. Swimming pool is big and spacious.... Good to be there with kids... Looks forward to visit again next time
