I was rushed to Fathima Hospital,Perumpadappu during the peak hours on November 8th and was awestruck by the hospitality they provided me with,Director Fr.Antony Thaiveetil for his special consideration and overseeing.....right from the front desk staff who were very welcoming and quick with all the formalities,P.R.O. Desy and Mejo for their affection and care Attendant Antony Netto who treated me like a brother, nurses Sr.Princy,Sr.Devika,Sr.Jetty,Sr.Swetha,Sr.Sanya who would keep a check on me from time to time and come along and pray for me especially Sr.Princy whom I'm fond of for her exceptional tenderness and supervision she made my pain much more lighter ;my surgeon Dr.Sreeganesh Sir who constantly gave me hopes knowing it was complicated and for assuring me with the best treatment hence I would sen percent recommend his treatment to anyone who needs an orthopedic because he knows how to treat a patient under him also with him you are relieved of the mental trauma and uncertainties. He is an amazing doctor I've ever met and his Asst. Nurses Jithin and _Aswathy_ who constantly gave me support also many thanks to all who were present in the operation theatre. The ambience was perfect with smiling faces coming to keep a check on me, this hospital gave me comfort even when I was in pain. Extremely patient, kind, caring and experienced staff they have a polite way of dealing with things, the premises were clean and hygenic keeping public health risks in mind and using safety measures where needed, in all the environment was very positive which helps in better recovery....I felt as if my family got extended. Asking the almighty to protect and support you in all your endeavours and grant you good health. _Ealroy John VJ

Fatima Hospital is a multi-speciality medical centre, situated at Perumpadappu, Cochin, kerala, India Established on 4th February 2007, and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Cochin, the hospital is situated on a sprawling 25 acre campus. The hospital will be developed into a 500 bed multi super speciality hospital for the poor and needy people of the entire area. The students of FIMS undergo practical training at Fatima Hospital. Recently, on March 31, 2010, a new Block, named after our former Patron and late Bishop of the Diocese of Cochin, the Rt.Rev. Dr. Joseph Kureethara, who had the vision and insight to purchase the land and to put up a very small structure, due to paucity of funds, at that time, was opened by our present Bishop, the Rt.Rev. Dr. Joseph Kariyil with 16 rooms on 31st March 2010, known as the BISHOP JOSEPH KUREETHARA BLOCK. We started the Hospital with only the following departments: General Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Gynaecology and Paediatrics. Up-to-date, the number of patients who have had treatment in the Hospital is 1,30,871. So now, we are doing our very best to expand the bed strength of the hospital from the present 200 beds to our goal of a 500-bedded hospital in the not too distant future. The newly appointed Bishop of Cochin, Rt.Rev. Dr. Joseph Kariyil is fully behind our plans and extends every support in order that we might realise our goals and our dreams! Our Vision: Fatima HospitalOur Hospital was opened in a very small way with only 100 beds on 4 February 2007. In the three years that we have been operational, we have now, with the blessings of our God and Lord Jesus Christ, upgraded our Hospital to cater to the needs of 200 patients and in the future we envisage the opening and training of a large number of Nursing staff in our Nursing College, which, though presently situated in Edacochin, will, with the grace of God in the not too distant future, be incorporated into its rightful place- which is, within the campus of Fatima Hospital itself. Our Mission: To empower the beneficiaries of the Diocese in enabling them to procure Health-related services at a very low and affordable cost, keeping in mind the high cost of health care that is available in and around us. Our services should enable the recipients to feel that they are someone special and the services rendered by the staff of Fatima Hospital should portray the loving and caring nature displayed by the Lord himself.

Big hospital in Perumbadappu. About one kilometer from highway. Waterfront and spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the canteen is not well maintained. And infrastructure has to be developed. Toilets are not well maintained. The small shop inside the hospital has almost all necessary items and tea snacks etc also

Good hospital with excellent health care . Staffs was very welcoming, had amble car parking area , Doctors was well experienced and huge waiting area for patients. Even though the premise needs a makeover or face lift to cop up with the new age health care hospitals. Management must come up with few changes to the interiors and exteriors of the hospital .

Most of the Doctors and their treatments are excellent. But the management needs to be more organised. The way things are arranged in the hospital is confusing for new people who come there for the first time. And the worst experience is lack of time management.. when we book a doctor for a review in advance they will give us a time slot, and even if we are on time the minimum waiting time to see the doctor will be atleast 2hours. Hospitals should be more organised coz time is precious for everyone.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with the casualty department at Fatima Hospital, and I believe it's my responsibility to share it with others. When my brother suffered injuries after a bike accident, we promptly took him to this facility. While the doctor attending to him seemed to dismiss the severity of his wounds, just a day later, we found ourselves grappling with the after-effects of inadequate care. The knee injury, which was stitched up by the doctor, seemed to be fine. However, the wound on his feet, which was simply cleaned and dressed by a male nurse, began causing considerable distress. Unable to bear the pain, we sought a consultation with an orthopaedic specialist, Dr. Sreganesh, who diagnosed it as an infected wound. He had to perform a minor procedure to drain the pus and highlighted that the initial care was not up to the mark. Further adding to our distress, we encountered inconsistency in the quality of nursing care during our daily visits for treatment. The morning shift seemed competent, but we faced difficulties with the evening shift, which seemed less experienced and perhaps ill-prepared for any serious cases. While discussing our ordeal with friends and neighbors, I was taken aback to hear that several of them had similar experiences with the casualty department, especially during the evening. Based on our ordeal and feedback from others in the community, I would strongly advise against seeking emergency medical care at this establishment.

The service of Fatima Hospital is absolutely priceless. When a friend of mine who is working abroad had a physical illness, as per my request, the doctor was considered through video call and given the necessary medicine for the illness. Now there is a good change. I got a completely free and selfless service from there. Many thanks to the hospital management and its staff for providing such excellent service

A very good hospital, perhaps one of the best in West Cochin with excellent ambiance, has good specialit Doctors and nursing staff to take care. Unlike other hospitals in the urban / busy areas this hospital being located near the bank of the back waters gives fresh air to breath n the patients can have a peaceful rest. It's felt, with more specialist departments and doctors it can rise up the level of the topmost / leading hospitals in West Cochin besides can attract more crowd from in and around Cochin n all over.

Highly recommended for neuro rehabilitation and physiotherapy related treatments. The doctor and physio/nursing staff are well experienced and patient friendly. The physio unit is well equipped and well maintained. The hospital with the vast open space, serene greenery and the backdrop of a natural waterfront sets the perfect ambience for a rehabilitation centre. Was a pleasant experience for my Mother who got treated there for over a month.

Looting patients. Very un ethical practice. Very bad experience from the hospital. We have to pay again and again when ever we visit the hospital. Consulted gynec op on 12th oct. Dr adviced for blood check up and scanning. Ofcourse it will take time for us to get all these test done and get report. Due to menstrual period scanning got delayed by 5 days and Dr was on leave three days . The next day when we went to show the report Reception team was telling we have to pay fee again to show report to Dr. and PRO also has the same answer. We have Dr who tell us send me the report in "watsap" I will check it and replay. Fatima team have to learn from those Dr.. I have 6 to 7 years of relation ship fatima. Will never recommend this hospital to anyone.

My father was shown to General Surgeon Dr. Joygeorge and he cut it off due to the blood coat on his leg and the infection was also cut off where he was admitted for 4 days and given anti-biotic. After that he came home after being discharged and was given some medicine to take, he started taking that medicine and then his father was not eating anything, he was also in diabetes, his father was a heart patient and also had a stroke and sugar was okay. Daily went and did foot dressing. The condition was so bad that we were not even given a polite dressing by the doctor and the dressing staff. The doctor behaved without any illusion, my father left because of the doctor's lack of attention. The rest of the organs were affected by blood infection. He is the reason my father died. Proper treatment was not given. No one should have this experience again. If he had listened to the symptoms we are talking about and treated them, my father would have been with us today.
