Located at amaravathy road, near kokers junction(opp arabian palace fort kochi). Parking is available, but less. Seating area also is less but satisfactory. Area could have been a bit cleaner. Ordered different chaats (bhel puri, samosa chaat,vada pav) and tea. Chaats were very filling and of good quality and taste. Vada pav quantity a bit less. Also tried a piece of their black halwa, but was not happy with the taste. Overall, for decent food at decent prices, this is recommended.

Very cheap Halwa I found over here. Starts from ₹200 per kg. Many varieties . Polite staff . You can taste snacks like pattice and many bakery items sold here .

Good tasting food and quality service. Had tried their pav bhaji, dahi puri, mirchi bhaji and samosas.Good street-food ambience with counter tables. It's opposite the old Kokkers theatre.

Good to see this place back with North Indian dishes added to their menu. Only drawback is they do not have a seating arrangement. When the food is good you don't have to worry about a seat. The pav bhaji and the rolls the top favorite followed by chats.

This place is lit 🔥 , these people give us a mouth watering dishes, its so delicious . Prices for the food is very nominal even though they don't make any Compromise in quality and quantity. The service and behaviour of staff is so friendly and dovish .

Pros-Food items especially fried snacks and sweets etc are tasty. Staff is good and friendly. Nice ambience too. Cons- One thing i noted is the oil they are using, it was very very dark due to multiple use, definitely alarming health concerns, need to improve the same.

Ordered the beef pickle and the kallumakaya pickle. The fact that they have smaller quantities ensures you eat it fresh and can order again and try more varieties. Pickles were not over spicy, they were flavourful and delicious. Will be ordering again.

Love from Canada. Ordered Kozhi ada from CHC and it was delivered to Thiruvalla on time. It was delicious and crispy. Packing was perfect ,even after long journey it dint crumble. Highly recommend.

Tried it out during lockdown 4. Prompt delivery to start with. Make sure you give your order a day prior else things you want may not be available. The chicken sandwich, mutton shawarma we had were good.the chicken roast and parota combo that was decent. The parota is the fried one, not the Ceylon parotta that you might expect. The star of the show surprisingly was the paneer makhni that we had. The caramel custard was just borderline. The Oreo fudge was good however the portion size was a let down. The rolls aren't exactly filling, so make sure you order enough. The combos will generally be enough for a normal appetite. The photos are from the owner

If you're at Fort Kochi and thinking of food, I as a foodie, would suggest Cochin Halwa Centre. As It not only serves Variety Foods but really satisfies your heart and pocket with not only varieties of HALWAs (as the name goes) but the variety Menu that Confuses you, "where to start from?".

Had ordered Pothichor (100/-) along with Fish curry (80/-) , fish fry (80/-) and Clams Fry (80/-). Pothichor had sufficient quantity of rice and tasty home style cabbage thoran, mixed veg kootucurry, chamanthi, pickle,fried chilli and omelette along with sambar, rasam, pappad and a jalebi. Fish fry and curry too were delicious. Clams fry was the star of the lunch as it was very delicious. Will definitely order again and highly recommended to anyone whose looking for home style pothichor. Neatly packed with no spillage issues and delivered quickly within schedule time.

Cochin Halwa centre one of the famous spots in Fortkochi . We tried their chicken Biriyani the taste was excellent the flavour was too good and the rice was cooked perfectly chicken pieces were tender a perfect chicken Biriyani . They serves u with a egg ,onion raitha pickle and jelabi

This shop is about 1 km from fort Kochi. It is on the main road. The shop is famous for sweets, samosa, masala chai and there are few other varieties of tea. It does not have seats to sit. There are also few juices available. There is red halwa and black halwa.

The photo we took doesn’t do it justice. The fried beef biryani and the fried chicken biryani were incredible. The owner was real helpful in explaining what was offered and it was fantastic. You must get the cozhi ada, it’s amazing. By the time we took the photo we almost finished the bag. 5/5 great. I hope more tourists see this so they can enjoy too

One of my favourite sweet / snack shop in Kochi.. Maintains a high level and consistent quality throughout the product range. Very innovative and keeps adding new items. Also much responsive in communication. Most importantly, they are very keen on updating the customers through social media. They do courier most of the products.

If you are a pani-puri lover this is the best place in Ernakulam. In my opinion this is best place for pani puri, bhel puri, vada pav dhehi puri, samosa chat etc etc, they have almost all kind of Northindian street foods, also they have a wide varities of sweets like halwa, ladoo, kajubarfi etc. This is a must visit place in Cochin. The chef is superb I should say.

Cochin halwa center is one of the oldest bakery in Kochi .they have wide variety of sweets and fried items . nowadays their are introducing many new items .like nostalgic golisoda in flavoured .

Shop is an average at ambience. Just try a samosa chat.. Samosa Chat is similar to street samosa chat& quantity is just 20%more..The rate of samossa chat is 75rs.. Rate is big high.. As compared with price, this restaurent is not worth..

Halwa and chips are their best. Chat corner serves delicious pani puri. None veg samosas are also very tasty.

Halwa centre is one of the best places to get all your snacks from. When ever I travel to another state or abroad I always buy from here. They make it fresh. From Halwa to gartia and all the different types of chips and mixtures to north Indian sweets, all these eatables are really good. They have friendly staff. The only issue I have with this place is that they don't cover their samosas, cutlets etc. So flies and god knows what else will falls on it. They need to maintain some hygiene to attract more crowds. Come on Halwa centre... You can do it! You can make the place cleaner.
