Short, well maintained hike to the waterfall. It was no problem for our 4 year old to walk there on his own. It's absolutely gorgeous. Completely worth the stop!

It was raining the day we went, so there was no wait. The water pool looked nothing like photos online, probably because it was raining. It was almost murky and freezing cold. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the food smelled really good. There's also a room full of interesting info about the pool and history of the country. If this is your first stop among many popular spots associated with the National Park, buy the 1 week park pass- it's a nice little $ saver.

Visited during a cruise, very cool spot to be refreshed in, nice photo op’s and lovely nature scenery. The falls were eye catching.

Gorgeous short and easy hike to a swimmable, emerald colored pool under a waterfall. It is crowded when cruises are in port but it can be empty at off peak hours. Mesmerizing place. Easy access to the water.

One of my favorite spots in the area. Clean clear waters that are great for a swim. Lots of parking and some small souvenirs sold near the lot. This site is protected under UNESCO so you'll need to buy a government pass, either EC$5 for a single visit or EC$12 for a week pass, able to visit multiple sites. A quick 10 minute walk down a marked path. Very easy and peaceful walk until you reach a few wooden platforms at the base of the falls. Easy to step into the water and you can also walk up pretty close to the falls and behind the falls.

Emerald Pool is a stunning waterfall with a green tree canopy giving it its name. It is a short walk from the parking lot on a paved path. There are steps. Once you arrive at the waterfall, there is an observation deck. You are able to swim in the pool to experience the waterfall to it's fullest!
