My family celebrated the life of our mom who passed away. Daniela went out of her way to make a spectacular display of gluten free, vegan, and other Italian delicacies for all. She and her staff were the hosts of perfection. Beverages were also served at request. The ambiance was warming and pleasantly decorated. We added pictures of our mom and flowers. Italian music played in the background. She closed the restaurant just for us. It was a most memorable event for all! Thank you Daniela!

My experience today (Saturday, 28Oct2023) was simply amazing!!! My daughter & I choose a different restaurant to try monthly. Daniela Restaurant was my daughter's choice & it was a VERY good one! Never judge a book by it's cover!! We ordered 3 entrees & chose this restaurant just to try it's risotto. We ordered the Chicken & risotto, the lasagna, the fish, the appetizer for mussels & the trio appetizer for fried calamari, fried anchovies & shrimp. Tasted so AMAZING with little breading! Our waitress tended to every request! I requested for a spicy sauce for my lasagna & she made it happen!! I also requested for our mussels to be in a butter cream sauce, rather a tomato base sauce. She made all that happen!!! My daughter & I were VERY satisfied & actually SHOCKED at the quality of the seafood we received! ...WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK! ...I don't recall my waitresses name, but she gave it to me. It begins with (KN). Every restaurant should have her there! I tipped her extra FOR SURE! I WILL BE BACK, to try something else, for SURE! 👍🏽💯

I’ve never had lasagna where it was so greasy and the ravioli was so watery. It was horrible. Server did not come over until we were done. It was not a good experience… save your money and time.

Went there for my son's 5th grade graduation and the experience was absolutely incredible. Chris our server was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and Daniela even made a custom vegan meal for my son. Everything we ordered was top notch. We will definitely be back soon.

A delightful experience from attenyive but not intrusive service to interesting quaint setting wiyh the feeling you are guest in someone's house during a family party. Add very enjoyable food. Ossobuco was smaller than what we are used to but still delicious. Do try the Tiramisu! Worth visiting.

Finally had the opportunity to dine here for lunch. Everything tasted fresh & homemade. Took a while to decide what to order because everything sounded good. Great wines & recommendations from our lovely waitress. Nicely done ambiance, lots of influence from Sardinia. We left happy!

I only get five stars to the best, but this is darn close. Best food from Sicily I've had in a long time; first picture is Frito Misto which was perfectly done. Second picture is Frigula con Cocciulas, which I have not found in a restaurant for over 30 years. Food was absolutely excellent, and exactly as I remember it from my teachers and mentors Recommended

The food was horrible. My chicken was dry and rubbery at the same time. My boyfriend's ravioli was under cooked and bland. We were excited to try a new restaurant and expected great food from the reviews. Sadly, we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Locally run great place to eat. The service is good and you can tell the dishes are made with care. The food is worth the wait and enjoy a drink and sitting outside. If you get lucky there may even be live music on the street near to hear while you dine. Worth a stop if you are in Hampden.

One of the best, if not the best, Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The decor of the place was very cute and romantic. The server is very helpful and added to the experience by helping us choose something new for us. The food was PHENOMENAL! Every bite was perfect. We tried a new dish that Daniela created and it was simple and perfect. We also tried a traditional Sardinian pasta dish just to compare (Fregula con Cocciulas) and again it was PERFECT. You can taste the fresh ingredients in the dish and the effort Daniela puts in them. Finally, we ended the night with a dessert and a cup of espresso and it was the best ending for this great meal. I'm really glad we stopped by here and would definitely be back.

What’s not to love about this place? The food is delicious, Stefano is the man and the strawberry tiramisu might be the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Everything is fresh and you can’t beat the quality and price. Add this to your list!

Yummy, authentic Sardinian cuisine! For those commenting about slower than average service, try to be mindful that they’re staffed with only two waiters/waitresses at a time. It’s definitely worth the wait!

My first time here and it was an absolute pleasure. I had Branzino and it was lite & delightful. This quaint family owned restaurant feeds you like family! I felt so at home. All aspects of this wonderful place comes together and creates a great dining experience. Check them out. They are located in the awesome Hampden section of the City. You’ll definitely be pleased!

Our waiter, Alan, was very attentive and patient with our questions about their wine and brought us two samples. After we made our selection, we asked for meal recommendations. Alan suggested the culurgiones. He said it was homemade pasta in a buttery sage sauce. Unfortunately, I found the dish tasteless and dry. Alan was gracious and asked if I wanted something different and I selected, what I ordered the first time I was at this restaurant, the vegetable lasagna (it was quite good). The vegetable lasagna includes zucchini, peppers, eggplant, yellow squash wrapped in spinach dough with cheese. What was served was overcooked, laden with cheddar cheese dish with no vegetables except spinach. I ate several bite and stopped. All I could taste was globs of cheese. Alan did not return to our table for some time. I had wanted a second glass of wine but at that point we finished our meals. He asked to take our plates, An observant waiter would have asked about my meal given the amount of food remaining. Even the bread was too salty. But no mention. I will say the Caesar salad and wine were very good. So disappointed with the meal and how I was treated after sharing my displeasure with the first dish. I felt we were ignored because I asked for a different dish. I can’t help but think the dried up lasagna with thick, gooey yellow cheese was pay back. I will never return to this restaurant.

Antipasto, wine, and lasagnas were magnificent!! Service was excellent. The nutella dessert and strudel were very doughy and disappointing after the spectacular dinner. We’ll skip dessert next time. Lovely porch seating area but not built for larger people. Next time we’ll take our 6 foot selves inside. Restaurant was quiet though about half full outdoors. aIt was easy to converse on our Thursday night date. All in all a wonderful evening.
