Great place to stay, conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions, and good value (for Darwin). Room was very comfortable, swimming pool great, pay-per-use washing machines and dryers, somewhat limited parking which should be booked in advance. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Currently staying at Capitanos. Boiling hot in the rooms. Air-conditioning won't go lower than 22 which does nothing in this weather. Can't sleep. No soap in bathroom except for a half used soap with hair on it

The office staff and on-site caretaker were very pleasant - but unfortunately doesn’t make up for the state of my room. Upon arrival, I was greeted by 3 cockroaches in my room, lots of ants, a dirty pair of underwear and a very mouldy bathroom. Cockroaches were a very common problem during my 4 day stay - I was killing about 2 a day. While I was in the bathroom, housekeeping decided to come in without any knocking or acknowledgment. Hearing your room door open while on the toilet isn’t great. My fan also looked like it was about to fall out of the roof, with exposed wiring. With a bit a TLC, would be a great budget motel, unfortunately there were a number of issues that is holding it back.

Very pleasant staff, who looked after us. Room for 6 great, enough room and a clean room with a workable kitchen and large balcony. Would come back again, nice pool as well.

Great location, clean and well maintained, and the staff are considerate, fast to respond to requests/enquiries, and generous. I had a small issue with my room and mentioned it to reception and they went above and beyond and voluntarily swapped me to an even nicer room so that they could address the issue. It was a lot quieter than I expected for a CBD location. I would gladly stay again.

Great location, awesome staff so friendly. I was next to pool though and could here people outside at night chatting n enjoying themselves. Hey its a minor thing as we all on holiday but I was struggling with jet lag and sleep issues. Location though is amazing right slap in centre.

I told my wife it's like a colourful jail cell. I mean comfy enough and for the price, great value and full Foxtel access is pretty cool.

Family room has one double bed and three single beds. Bathroom is clean. The lady in the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Reminiscent of a 1950s motor court on Route 66, this motel has updated rooms, with kitchen conveniences and modern decor. The reception desk is friendly and efficient. The pool is salt water, not heated, not cold, just perfect. On Mitchell Street, easy walking to a variety of restaurants and bars. Close to a large park.

Amazing little motel, clean, secure and great pool with sailing and boat artefacts all around. Great value too for the location.
