Totally recommend this restaurant. All you can eat buffet, always topped up, didn't have to wait. Watching the sunset over the water was magical. Dining experience impeccable, staff were plentiful to continually clear the tables & cater to our needs.👌👌👌 First restaurant to book into on our return trip.

Very busy waterfront buffet restaurant (all you can eat). Lots of choice in types of food on offer. Seafood, roasts and Asian style food. Deserts as well. As it was my birthday we booked a table close to the railing out on the balcony. The sunset views are amazing. Would recommend.

This place was heavily advertised so we decided to go on the 1st July to watch the sunset and fireworks . Luckily they were very nice because the meal was a disappointment to say the least . Big on quantity but grossly lacking in quality . The fish had a weird sort of watery taste and everything else just tasted not quite right . Most of it was cold too . . The desert were stock standard supermarket cakes just cut up . The whole place had the vibe of a food court or at best a cafeteria

A good place to see sunset while enjoying your food! It begin with you enter the restaurant (they have 2 entrances. The main with stairs and the back gate is near the beach. When you enter the main entrance just go straight to the cashier and after we get our table we can choose variety of food, from appetizer to desserts💛. As a foodie who love travel and food. Here is my opinion about Seafood On Cullen: -The place is family friendly -The service is good, the staff is nice. -The price is affordable, btw the restaurant concept is buffet right? So i think, it’s worth it! -You can choose indoor or outdoor area. Sometimes i feel the weather too hot, so i just choose indoor one 😂 -But when the sky is clear, i reccomend to request the outdoor near the back gate. The sunset is breathtaking and even after sunset the sky colours sometimes change to cotton candy. Too pretty. -The food is nice. My favo is their salad and seafoods. And btw they have non seafood food too such as steak, lamb etc. The drinks is good too, Last time i ordered lychee mojito and its so fresh. So good with seafood lol. After dine and pay, you can go out trough the back gate and enjoying the beauty of cullen bay. Stepping on the grass, chit chat with friends and enjoying the breeze. Perfect day!

Place is living on its reputation. Sea food is just ordinary and low quality surprisingly the meat dishes were the best. The fish in batter is the strangest thing like slimy plastic it went in the bin. If you get a table on the deck the sunset is spectacular but not worth the money. The fish and chip cafe at the end of the street was much much better and cheaper

It was ok food, not as many varieties as I was expecting. Food was coming fresh from the kitchen though. Staff was a bit straight forward on reception and robotic on the floor however they all were hard working considering the crowd they were handling. Should have more varieties of seafood on the buffet and can increase the price should the cost go high.

Really well priced for the amount of options they have here! The seafood is super fresh. Oysters were sooo big and juicy. All the food was very full of flavour. Didn’t love the desserts, they tasted a bit like airplane food. Other than that. I would recommend. Perhaps some music would be great too as it was really quiet and lacking atmosphere when we went.

Food was very fresh. We loved what we had. Hubby went back several times for the oysters, prawns and mussles Although the price on website said $40.00 per person it is now $49.50 per head. Still worth it if you are into seafood. They also have Pork, Duck and beef Great array of salads ,fresh fruits and deserts Staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is what you make . We had a great night.

Busy, none of the food is outstanding but it's all fine, and it's an all you can eat buffet. It isn't cheap, but considering you can give yourself as many courses as you want, it's fairly priced. The Jetty is also run by the same people, and I probably prefer it a touch more.

My wife surprised me for my 40th and brought me here. It was absolutely amazing!!! Food was unbelievable, seafood was amazing, especially the fresh oysters which just kept on coming out!! It was definitely as it says all you can eat!!! Yum yum yum. We sat outside and the sunset was just as amazing as the food! An all round perfect experience😊

Absolutely amazing! Top-shelf food and service. 5 star. A must have "experience" in Darwin for sunset dinner. Amazing views to top it off.

Food was good, but not awsome. Plenty of choice and they keep the food comming out, $54.50 per person, for anyone 12 and over, so could be very expensive night out for a family with 3 kids.

WARNING WARNING WARNING Don't come to eat here!!! The name is Seafood on Cullen should be called "No food on Cullen. We arrived at 7.30pm to find most of the food gone, with staff packing up. We asked if any more food was coming out and the reply was "I don't think anymore food will be coming out. Very disappointing seeing I have eaten here before. What food was left after 7.30pm was cold. We spoke to the manager, she then bought over 1 piece of fish to share with 5 people. By 8.30pm more food did come out but it was to late after waiting 1 hour for food. Very disappointing we will never go back there ever again.

First class oysters and prawns. Good range of dishes on offer, though would be nice to know more about local seafood. Lots of interesting options for non-seafood eaters too. Some crusher/pick utensils for the chilli crab would have been useful. Would come back.

Came in at 745pm with no booking, the cashier asked us to check the food first. We looked around and looks everything was fine. We then requested to have more oysters, ducks, chicken wings and pork and something else. Staff said no problem, but the chicken wings might took around 25 minutes. Their staff sent the chicken wings straight to our table which makes me so surprised. We were so enjoyed the meal here! Good food, worth of money, I ate more than 1 dozen of oysters and 20 prawns. If you are planning to visit here, it's better to come earlier, we missed the sunset unfortunately. BTW, I am sorry for the manager about what she experienced the same night. A group of 5 refused to pay and complaining no food, food were cold. One staff also sent food to their table and I saw they had lots of oysters. I think they just making excuses and want to ate for free.

4.5 stars. Venue: going upstairs. It's a large buffet restaurant with balcony. Most tables are facing the sea. Open early @ 5:30pm. Great to be here for beautiful sunset. So very popular, and slightly packed. Buffet area is big enough for the flow of people. Tables are not very big but ok. Service: very busy. The owner was very nice and let us see the buffet area first as we were new. We didn't book a table, offered us a outdoor tables, but changed to indoor suddenly. It's great: Air-conditioned, and more covinent. A bottle of tap water, a hand-washing bowl, and a empty bowl for shells were placed when we're seated. Then, self help for cutley, serviettes, removal of dirty plates. Waitpersons would change new bowls when the bowl was full of shells. Refill food fast, not wait long. Wine is available here. Reasonable price. Buffet price: $49.5 per seat (+ GST); 3% surcharge for card payment. Food: There are 4 categories: entrees, Hot dishes, Cold dishes, and desserts. seafood is the highlight to me: Fresh oysters, fresh prawns (good size), big mussels, chili crab, small scallop mornay. Good value for these. We also tried 2 choices of soup - pumpkin soup or seafood corn soup, corn soup was better. Roasted duck, lemon & butter fish and lamb shank was ok. Beef steak with mushroom sauce was overcooked- very chewy. Salad was average. My stomach had no more space for Rice & noodles, chicken, , BBQ pork, dumplings, pasta and vegetables except desserts. Desserts: There's a chocolate fountain with marshmallows, ice cream (4 flavors: chocolate, mango, vanilla, strawberry) +/- cones / syrup, jellies (different flavors), small cakes (chocolate, banana, passion fruit cheese cake), and assorted fruit (Orange, watermelon, rock melon, honeydew, pineapples)

If you love your seafood, then this is the place to be. Exceptional food, so fresh and cooked to perfection. Surrounded by beautiful views and if you are there at night, you will experience a stunning sunset. Cant wait to come back

A great variety of food and you can go back as many times as you like. They clean the empty plates away very quickly. The view and sunset are to die for.The restaurant is upstairs, but they have catered for the disabled with a back gate.
