Location is Great but that's were it stopped. Service is slow and food was burnt. Why still serve it when it's black chard and like a carbon mess. One star because. No option for zero stars.

Absolute joke. Paid for the Lime Avo and Toast. They must be suffering from a cherry tomato and feta supply issue because they cut my 1 cherry tomato into quarters for my whole meal. And sprinkled the stingiest amount of feta to top it off. Okay the food is terrible, but surely the coffee cant be that bad? The worst cappuccino ive had in a long time. Did they put 1 shot of coffee in my large cup? Milkiest tasting coffee. Avoid this place, its an absolute joke.

Popped in early this morning for a takeaway coffee and it was nice. I was a little thrown by the mixed ratings…. Don’t get me wrong it took ten minutes to get my coffee, but it was early in the morning. That said, views back into the water were fabulous.

From the look on approach it is a very pretty looking cafe and seemed to have a good number of people waiting. I did have to wait about two minutes for some to acknowledge I was at the counter but it did give me time to look at the food cabinet of food which looked pretty tempting. Upon paying my $4.30 for a small coffee I was kind of disappointed with its size, especially once the froth died down. Had I seen the knocked over cup to show the sizes I might have checked out the nearby cafes to see if my dollar might go further. Eco friendly cups are an upside. Coffee was also quite nice but not worth the price. Nice area though but next time I will probably have a wander before coming back.

Popped inside the cafe and ordered seafood basket. Served us uncooked fish with two calamari rings, cold chips, some scallops and 3 shrimps. Before we started eating they closed the cafe. Could have told us can’t serve instead . Worst food and service. Even the table wasn’t cleaned before serving new customer. Only good thing was guava flavoured Jarritos.

Surprised to see many negative reviews here. We enjoyed thoroughly our morning ice coffee and had a lovely experience with Eliana. She even accommodated our bulletproof coffee request and was able to add MCT oil into the coffee for us. We visited on a weekday in non-peak travel season, so found the quietness pretty nice too.

In the corner of the waterfront, which is a lovely location, a small, simple cafe. We ordered simple toast and coffee. After waiting more than 20 minutes I went in to ask how much longer (our transport was supposed to arrive in 10 minutes). The owner(?)/ Greeter/cashier rolled her eyes, then pointed to a waiter who then delivered the order. The toast was fine and the coffee cold.

DO NOT GO HERE! It’s over priced and just awful. First the lady behind the counter commented how ‘picky’ my strong oat flat white order was…. Not even a complicated order. Then I paid $20 something for avo on toast. The two smallest toast pieces ever with day old avo mixed with loads of lemon and like 4 1/4 pieces of cherry tomatoes and a teaspoon of feta!!! SO disappointed. Stay clear of this cafe.

Friendly staff, great location, affordable coffee, good value; the take-away option might be better than the mug. Free Wi-Fi. Walking distance from CBD. Relaxed atmosphere staff not pushy, so respect their service. Cafe latte ($4.5). The menu looks tempting and affordable. The dishes look filling. Will definitely try again.

My friend and I came here and she asked if they did “Puppychino’s” and they didn’t know what it was so she asked them for a “Babychino” but with PLAIN MILK because it was for her dog and they said that they could do that. When we got the “babychino” and her dog had already drunken some of it, we noticed it was actually chocolate milk. My friend then proceeded to go back to ask why they had poured chocolate milk and the staff member was rude and had attitude saying “You asked for a babychino.” eve though my friend clearly told her to put PLAIN MILK and they confirmed they could. The manager was nice enough to offer plain milk but obviously we didn’t want it anymore. No apologies or sympathy whatsoever. Disappointing customer service overall.

Wife ordered Eggs benedict on sourdough - Generous serving... a little bland. I didnt think it had any flavour at all.. Son ordered nutella breakfast muffin. Had a thick layer of nutella and loved it. I ordered American Pancakes. They were with strawberries and bananas. Meant to be fluffy but they were really thin. Taste was ok but didnt feel like american pancakes. Orange/carrot/ginger juice. 1st one was fine and 2nd one was watered down. Disappointing experience overall

Woman making coffees is abrupt bordering on rude. Only one person on floor for indoor and outdoor area who had no idea what he was doing. So many orders went back to the kitchen wrong in the short time l was there. I guess good staff are hard to get and keep right now. Such a shame as it could be a fabulous place to eat. 😞

Extremely over priced! Not worth the money. I won’t be going back. We paid over $72 for 2 breakfasts and 2 juices. I’m gluten free and my gluten free bread came out on my partners plate and I got normal bread on mine. If I were full blown coeliac, that could have been a hospital visit. We both had poached eggs; one of mine was hard boiled and one still had clear, raw whites. For that price, you expect at least the eggs to be cooked well.

Lovely cheery little pit stop. The omelettes we had were perfect and I loved my Greek coffee frappe. The service was prompt despite the cafe being quite busy. The owner was lovely with my 90 year old mum. We’ll be back for breakfast.

Small Cafe that was nice and busy, coffee was good as was the food however it took a long time to receive our order (approximately 45 min).

We love it so much we came here 3 of the 4 days we were in Darwin. Friendly service, great pricing, new staff can be a bit slow but that's pretty much everywhere post COVID. Food is good quality home style made fresh and served fast. The chicken sandwich is so delicious we ordered it every time, that's saying a lot for me who don't normally like sandwiches. The coffees are also a must-try, the iced latte was so good I craved it when we weren't in Darwin. Also has great decaf alternatives, the Greek frappe was not sweet which suits me perfectly.

Wish I'd read these reviews before making our brunch blunder. "Vegan Stack" - sounded amazing...it looked so unappealing - cubed zucchini + eggplant smeared across the plate, no almond butter, no tomatoes, one teeny-tiny piece of capsicum. Waited 5 minutes to enquire with barrista while she chatted to a friend - she wouldn't listen and spoke over me. Small side plate with a few quartered cherry toms and a few strips of capsicum appeared. Avoid this place, they don't care. Very overpriced for what is served. Super disappointed.

Do not recommend for food. Juice was nice and fresh but as for food, terrible. Something went very wrong with the grilled chicken burger, at a guess I’d say it was overheated in the microwave, you literally could not even bite it or pull it apart with your hands. When I tried to bite it, it all just fell to pieces, way too much dressing and chicken tough as. Toasted ham and cheese was very pale, warm bread really and cheese not even melted.

Came here because of the location, won’t come back because of the food. Terrible Açaí bowl, tasteless, looked nothing like their picture. The precinct needs to move them on for someone that better represents this great location.

We loved our week in Darwin and only made better by the amazing coffee and welcoming service at Lime cafe. The whole family were excited to visit the cafe for breakfast or just a drink.. we will be back 100%.. the owner works extremely hard and loves keeping her customers happy.. keep up the hard work Lime cafe you are doing a fantastic job.

Seating is outdoors with a great view for “people watching “. Coffee and food was GREAT!! Excellent service. Went there for breakfast 3-4 days out of our 7 day holiday!! It’s that good!

Never normally leave reviews, however, I believe I need to share. We had ordered two breakfast items and drinks, waiting and watching other people's meals go past that had arrived later than us. We then asked the lady at the counter about our meal and she said "it didn't save". We then asked for a refund and she said "why don't you wait, it's only been half an hour". It had in fact been 55 minutes. Overall very rude and not even an apology.

Went there for an omelette. It was extremely dry, severely under-seasoned and felt like chewing on a rubber tire. I went there for an omelette once before and it wasn't great either, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. This was a huge mistake and they will NOT see me again.

Slow service, slow food delivery ordered the American pancakes which should have had bacon and mixed berries neither of which appeared on or with the pancakes. The American pancakes came with 6 thin slices of banana and about the same of strawberries. The pancakes tasted like they had been cooked earlier and re heated in a microwave very little chocolate sauce and a tiny amount of maple syrup. Would not return based on this experience or recommend to others.

Not worth the money! Over priced added extras are ridiculous. Waited an hour for our breakfast and it wasn't very busy at the time. Coffee was good but not great.

Walked in and was welcomed with a cold bottle of water by Arianna, loved the vibe and atmosphere that this cafe puts off!! Quick lunch of a “recommended” chicken wrap & chips and I was set. ✅ Thank you Ariana for your hospitality and lovely food! Kids loved the slushy… thank you We Will be back 👏 💧 ❤️ Krissi

Don’t go, don’t do it. The meal was terrible, hot flat white was warm at best, soft poached eggs were like squash balls, bacon was cold and greasy. A floor tile would have been easier to eat than the sour dough toast. Avoid at all cost.

I ordered the big breakfast and honestly I wasn’t expecting much it’s kinda a default order I do. But hand on my heart everything on the plate was amazing. Full of flavours and they complemented each other. I’m kind of in shock. Best breakfast I’ve had in Darwin.

Worst cafe I've been to in a long time. Chose to eat here because coffee club next door has closed. Asked for an iced choc and 2 iced lattes - received 3 iced coffees. Went to change one of the coffees for a choc for my 13 year old, and the cashier had taken my order wrong so they just put a heap of choc syrup into the coffee and told me it would be fine, as if it was my own fault! Chicken and avo wrap was hot on the outside and cold inside, and the avo was black. we're cold too. Will never be back to this joke of a place.

The female cashier was not pleasant at all, no thank you for my order, when I tapped & looked up she was gone. When my iced coffee was delivered it was dumped on the table she didn't ask who it was for. After 20mins we had to ask where the smoothie was he said it was coming still no rush for that. Had waffles with slithers of banana & strawberry, I could count each of these on one hand. They were not busy so was surprised at poor service.

Pathetic !! Rip off beyond belief …. Ordered a ham and cheese toastie and a coffee as one of their specials. Looked great in their promotional photos with lots of ham and cheese with thick toasted bread. What I got was a single thin slice of ham , some packet cheese between supermarket bread. Absolutely pathetic. $14.95 be buggered ……. wasn’t worth $4.95 tops. Go elsewhere
