For pub fare, this was the best venue in the heart of Darwin’s downtown. The steaks are huge and cooked to perfection with caramelised outside and delicious gravy to dunk it in. Great range of beers on tap and huge pool room to play a couple of rounds before or after your meal

Awesome Aussie Pub in heart of Darwin. I went in a few times while staying in Darwin for 1 week. Their Bistro serves up excellent pub food. I had their steak sandwich, rump steak and NT Tasting Plate with buffalo, kangaroo and crocodile, yum, yum, yum. All the food was excellent. Huge selection of tap beers, great sports bar and beer garden out the back. Directly opposite from the Hilton Hotel.

The 1900's style building, a nice long wooden bar Awesome Aussie Pub in the heart of Darwin. I went there every Saturday and Sunday morning. Their Bistro serves up excellent pub food. Good ambience, staff was polite and respectful. Plenty of space to sit around and relax , like the rear courtyard sitting arrangement. Overall wonderful place will visit again. Cheers.

We had a few beers over the time we were here. The beer was nice and cold. It’s a great place to watch sports. Or just sit back and people watch out the front. Outside eating and inside eating. It’s a big place. The food was great. And we’ll price. Just get there for happy hour. Most days 4pm to 6 pm.

Awesome steak cooked to your liking washed down with an Icy cold beer … what could go wrong. Nothing; if it’s done right and Hotel Darwin did it right.

Lovely pub. Family friendly. We had a good feed then headed to the Esplanade to take in the sunset.

Nice quiet place to sit down and have a great feed and a drink. The atmosphere is good for a chat, or just watch the sport! There is a weeknight special to enjoy!

Had a staff party here and it was a great venue to drink and eat at. Staff were all very professional and upbeat, and the amenities were rather clean for a bar.

Great atmosphere. Very tasty food. Prices tend to be a little expensive, but still good value for money.

Some of the feel of old darwin inside with polished timber, nice bar, good raised dining area, a classic verandah to drink on and meet people or just watch. Food is excellent for a pub. Back courtyard for smokers and those times when noise is good to be around after work or evenings..

Many life time memories in this pub. I was serving in the forces at the time 1960 to 1962 and we all new it then as the hot and cold. The only airconditioned pub in Darwin. It is still a great place to meet and the service is second to none. Full of history.

Great location, service and food. Really good bar with plenty of TV's to watch your AFL team play or plenty of other sports. Beer garden is the perfect place to get out to in the evening. Recommended for more than one visit.

Great atmosphere a good place to go to grab a meal or have a drink. 3 pool tables, and a small pokies room round back. Unfortunately they don't cook steak great... Ordered a medium rare and got a near well done steak and same for my partner but otherwise the food was good.

Good old fashioned pub. Very clean and good service. Our steaks were large and delicious, and cheap! Cold beer. Interesting historical items. Recommended

Dropped in for a cold bevy or maybe 6… food was absolutely delicious.. double serving of garlic butter crayfish 🦞 to share.. yummy 😋. Highly recommended this place customer service was outstanding 👏
