I regret to say that our recent stay at Mantra Pandanas in Darwin was far from satisfactory. The room we were initially assigned did not meet the cleanliness standards one would expect from a reputable hotel. The carpets and drapes were heavily stained, and the appliances bore visible signs of wear and tear. The bed linens were also unacceptable, leading us to request a room change. Although the second room was marginally better, it still did not meet our expectations, especially considering the room rate. The staff's response to our concerns was disappointing, treating our complaints as inconveniences rather than valid customer service issues. We were also informed only five days prior to our stay that the pool was under renovation. We sought potential compensation for this disruption, but we were flatly told none would be provided. Even our suggestion of waiving the $19 per night parking fee as a goodwill gesture was rejected, despite ample parking being available. Administrative difficulties added to our frustrations. We requested an invoice under our company's name, as this was a business trip, but the hotel staff insisted that this was not possible. This contrasts sharply with our experiences with other hotels, including another Mantra property in Melbourne, where such requests were easily accommodated. Disturbingly, at no point did we receive an apology for any of the issues we encountered. We were not even extended a simple acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction, which further compounded our disappointment. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we can't recommend Mantra Pandanas to others. We hope that the Mantra management will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the service and conditions at this property.

We checked into our room early hours of Friday morning and had to request another room. The stench of composting vegetables or rubbish and dripping aircon was disgusting. We were then put into another room which smelt better but no body wash was available. The cost of this hotel was not cheap and I would not recommend to traveler's. There appears to be better hotels along the water front in Darwin. Choose wisely.

Stayed here for a work trip. Great location. Easy car park and secure. Nice rooms, big with everything you need. I deducted one star because the bed is awful and the pillows even worse :( please get some more supportive pillows. Their breakfasts are excellent, the assortment was huge and everything was fresh and delicious.

Very frustrating to have booked a room only to arrive and be told that the pool is closed. At any point in the booking process it could have been communicated, and I would've stayed somewhere with an open pool. Not disclosing this until the room has been paid for is very poor. The room was nice, other than the awful bricks that were the pillows, but the experience had already been soured. Also, for a $200 a night room, surely you can offer secure parking for less than $19 per night. Won't stay here again - there are dozens of hotels in Darwin.

Top place to stay. Great room. Good facilities. A bit of a shame we didn't know pool was being renovated though. Will be great when finished though.

Nice rooms, handy location being close to many cafes and restaurants, as well as the Woolworths. It has a fitness room, which is pretty small and basic. The pool is pretty cool!

Loved staying at this hotel in Darwin. Will stay again when we return. Staff are very kind and room was outstanding.

Small sized apartments which make it hard to cook in as the fire alarms can get quite sensitive. Can do with regular dustings above the cupboard spaces which is about eye level. Great location, walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. We have to go down to reception (ground floor) to get pool towels when the pool is located on a higher floor, which seems inconvenient.

Good location, surrounded by shops, restaurants, grocery, and pharmacy. Good service. The room is clean and big. It has a good view: city and ocean.

We went to Darwin in the hope of residing at a hotel with a pool and we paid and booked accordingly. Upon arrival we were told the pool is out of commision, no reduction in tariff was offered. We could go to another Mantra hotel and pay to have a swim,go figure. We had a booking for approximately 8 days on the second stint of 6 days we had to chase up for fresh towels and tea and coffee top ups, fully realising that our rooms wouldn't get a daily service. I would of thought on the 3rd day this would of been attended to. And why a hotel of this class hasn't got a customer laundry facility is befuddled. We enjoyed our stay in Darwin.

Nice room in the center of town. Disappointed pool was meant to be completed by the time we arrived. However won't be completed until October. With no communication

This place was very disappointing. We were only there for 3 nights, but our room was not cleaned. It smelled musty. We had no room service - no clean towels, no bar in the fridge, no replacement of coffee, no clean bed linen. The good thing was that it was cheap. No wonder!!

Most of the staff are very friendly and very accommodating. However, some need to be properly trained for ACCOR loyalty program. There were two incidents that the number wasn't put in either correctly or properly. And the points weren't accrued!

We actually rented through Stayz, but our Apartment was in the Residential section of the Hotel. The room was well equipped, comfy beds, and the view was amazing. Great balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on. Even though we were not actually staying in the Hotel section, the Reception staff were always happy to answer any questions we had, and offer suggestions. Great location too, within easy walking distance of shops, eateries, the Foreshore Park for swimming, and undercover carparking is available. Highly recommended.

I am so disappointed. I was given the option to have 1 king bed and 1 single or 1 king and 1 queen bed. I chose a king bed and queen bed for mum and I. When I arrived, they said that’s not possible and brought in a small sofa for mum to sleep on. There is no body wash in the room also. Mum is sleeping on a fold out single (because it’s my birthday and she refuses to take the queen), which is unbelievable seeing as we were given the option but we were told, last minute that there were no other beds available. We were also told at 3pm that our room wasn’t ready for check in because we booked at late notice, even though it doesn’t say that anywhere. Will never stay here again - very unhappy and unable to sleep knowing mum is on a fold out!

For 4 half starI expected a better. Hotel room TV was small Chairs uncomfortable Balcony small and not inviting at all. Rusty marks on tiles old patio furniture. Staff however lovely. Buffet breakfast is well worth the money. Location good . No daily servic for rooms less than a weeks stay So we had to use pool towels for clean towels. There was a shortage of linen one day I've stayed in far better hotels for half that price Considering they charge $400 a night compared to $400 in surfers a hotel room at the Marriott .This should not be 4 half stars hotel Maybe 4 stars The Pool area was lovely especially at night. But not many sun loungers or chair space around the pool to sit. For the size of this hotel Note they call a hotel room An apartment. It's a room. So make sure you book the right one As it can be deceiving when they advertise it as an apartment . It's not even a studio it's a hotel room With tiny fridge. Kettle Tea Coffee Complimentary milk . Iron Ironing board If I go to Darwin again I will stay elsewhere. I was disappointed with the size of Hotel room and Furnishings. Bathroom sink leaked so we couldn't wash up properly . Though Bathroom was modern and clean. I never give negative comments usually But don't expect 4 half stars For this Patched up carpet by the balcony sliding doors . Sorry but in it wasn't a water view I would have felt closed in

Clean spacious room with comfortable bed and a nice view overlooking the city towards the waterfront. Friendly reception and convenient location in the CBD.

The staff at Mantra Pandanas Darwin are always fantastic. It's like they have their own little customer appreciation system, on top of the Accor program, so that they can always ensure that regular visitors are welcomed back! Travelling with lots of equipment and with weird arrival / departure times, the staff have always taken pleasure in looking after me. Will always return here whenever I can.

I arrived lateish, 9.30 pm, into room quickly , I knew that there was no kitchen but would have loved a snack of any sort, dry biscuits and cheese would be great. Ditto for breakfast , a packet of cereal and milk would suffice, to pay that many $ and be offered nothing is not good.ift your game just a little, I spoke to other guests and they agree.

Super helpful staff. Amazing room with incredible views. Close enough to the main streets in town to be very accessible but far enough away to feel quiet.

24 hour check in. Nice grand foyer. Good location. King bed was very uncomfortable. 2 different heigh beds pushed together. It was terribly uncomfortable. The shower was filthy, handmarks all over the glass and mould everywhere there should be silicone or grout. Good place for a stopover but not a place I could get comfortable. Staff were very friendly, price was good, value for money not the best. Breakfast was good. Plenty of fresh fruit and good coffee ☕️

Stayed here in June for 5 nights in one of the one bedroom apartments. Very clean with all facilities. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Balcony had view over pool, city and out to beach, so sunset views were incredible. Great location, close to everything. Would definitely recommend staying here and will again.

Great location and fantastic facilities. Only small suggestion would be more shade at the pool. But very nice pool anyway.

Nice apartment but disappointing that their cafe/restaurant was closed all day once the breakfast was over so no 24 hour service and no Foxtel as advertised on their web site. I’m fed up of hearing it’s because of covid which is the stock standard excuse,

Had a very bad experience today. Have been discrimated today by a staff called Josephine because I come from Melbourne. She say she is scare of people from Melbourne because of covid. This should not be happening as I have done all the right thing to be here and not be mistreated like I'm dangerous person. This shouldn't happen at all especially in a hotel run by a international hotel group #Accor. I am hotelier myself and this is an unexpectable behaviour any where in hotel industry

The staff were amazing. Very professional, caring and helpful. Great hotel. A special thank you to Vivian, Jessika and Lynnil. You guys went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable . Thank you the housekeeping staff also.

The staff were helpful and nice but the room was lacking as the shower flooded the bathroom after each use. The room was a bit damp ( even with the humidifier running all day) and the ceiling fans were noisy.

Received a warm welcome from the front office team (Amy, Roshni and Sujan) a quick checked in. The fully equipped apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy with a great water view. Thank you Vin for the nice room, I will definitely come back!

No oven in apartments. Rooms are very small, the photos are deceiving. No supported way to get luggage to/from car park, so you need to illegally park in a bus zone to load/unload. No smoking even on balconies. No adjustment of air-conditioning below the prescribed temperature limit. On the positive side, there is a ceiling fan in the tiny bedroom (which you will need since you cannot lower the a/c temp). The staff are very friendly. Good views. Clean and tidy. Air purifier in room.
