Food is excellent with many choices. Vegan options are available and facilitates most dietary preferences. Prices average, lovely members of staff that are extremely friendly. Perhaps too much a victim of its own success as there are a lot of customers coming and the food can take quite a while to arrive. Worth the wait but food portions may not be enough for the really famished, depending on what you order.

In search of the best coffee In Darwin and going by google suggestions I went to this place. Honestly very disappointed and didn't have a good first impression at all. Bought a large latte - takeaway cup. 1) the cup size is more of a medium but it was their large cup and it cost $6. The right price for this cup would have been $5 2) coffee has a bit of a punch to it. But no wow factory. The texture is not that great and it was a bit watery. Felt it was just made in a rush. 3) should have made a little effort to do some latte art on it. Not the best out there but has the potential.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been coming to Laneway for over 4 years now. Never had a bad experience. Good Coffee, good food and great service. Consistency at its best. Keep up the good work team 🤙🏻

The coffee and food was delicious, but just too small potion for the price. We ordered the mushrooms with 2 scrambled eggs, but to me, it’s seems like only one egg, price was $26. I also surprised for a $6 coffee came with a “regular” size cup. Overall, it’s a nice cafe with coffee and food, but definitely over priced and not worth it.

Do you love to eat flys? Well if you do, this is the place to go. Unprofessional, don't care about customers, zero quality food (I guess flys make it more organic) I can understand flys can get into food but the restaurant takes no responsibility to apologise to customers for fly-full food. My food came with flys packed in the box, open the box and be greeted with flys getting free, some stuck on the Pattie, some are munching on the sauce. HEALTH HAZARD. Don't go or order delivery unless you want to get sick.

Great little cafe that reminds me of some of my faves in Melbourne. Had the eggs benedict with pulled pork and it was exceptionally delicious. Great iced tea, too.

Absolutely amazing! Was in town visiting and came across this breakfast spot. I brought my whole team here and everyone loved their meals and drinks. I’m pretty sure we had everything on the menu at our table. It was so good that we came back the very next day for more! The Aussie breakfast platter was freaking amazing! Highly recommend!

Coffee here is great. I have tried it twice and will come back again. Haven't had a chance to try the foods, but definitely order some next time. Service is excellent, very friendly staffs. Location is at the corner, so very easy to recognize the shop.

It’s been a while since I’ve visited Laneway. Last time I was here I left dissatisfied as meals weren’t very filling and was pricey. Not much has changed in decor and setting but still looks cosy and busy. We ordered breakfast and waited a little bit. My partner was surprised how delicious and colourful the meals were. Coffee and fresh juice was great too. The staff were attentive and accommodating. The only down side was it was a little too pricey

Very good single origin coffee and freshly made juice of the day. The food was delicious - we had the Heirloom mushrooms with added poached egg, and Eggs your way with their award winning Gotzinger smoked bacon

Amazing place. Came here twice in one week. Eggs Benny with salmon is a solid choice and also the afogado (espresso with ice cream). We were lucky to have Rabina as our server both times and she made the experience even better. Will certainly be back for great food and great service by Rabina.

The coffee at Laneway is always perfect, the food is great and different enough to be special while still having simple choices. It has just expanded into next door shop which has made it feel more open with wooden furniture which is quieter. However, the industrial look doesn’t have the benefit of softer, sound deadening surfaces so it is very loud inside. The staff are lovely but today(the day Google asked for a review) they overlooked getting our food order. This is unusual so my suggestion is to try it for yourself and enjoy the great coffee and yummy food.

The mushrooms were amazing. Great coffee too. We had to plan to come back, to try another dish. Lovey atmosphere to have a long breakie.

Overall vibes of the place was really good. Prices were a little towards the higher end than I would have liked. Food was good, I tried: - Colombian coffee and it was awesome. A definite must try. - beef burger, which was served with salad (and not fries). It was good as well ( not the best, but much better than other outlets in Darwin). - chicken toastie, it was good as well. Some salad or fries along with it would have been better. - Avocado toastie, it was good, no complaints. - Muskmelon juice, looks good, taste good, definitely must try.

Delicious food. Refreshing juices and they usually have a juice of the day. Good vibes all round.

Nice coffee! Food looks pretty good and fancy but wasn’t tasted as it looks..seriously doubt that the salad greens were cleaned! The venue was crowded and not so calm if you’re looking for something calm and peaceful..Overall the experience was okay

Awesome joint in the middle of suburban Darwin. Bit more built up than the eastern areas, real hidden gem. Well worth the visit they serve Zest coffee from Melbourne and even do a fancy version of a batch brew.

The must place for brunching in Darwin! Their food is great and coffee is good. The juice of the day and coffee over ice is my favourite. The staff are slo friendly. However, it can get very busy and you may not have a table when it’s full. But you can tell it is too good and very popular to the local 😁.

I had breakfast here with four others. It was fantastic. I had the Indie Breakfast with halloumi and I would definitely return to order that again. My friends said the same. Pet-friendly too. It was a high price meal but great quality. Table service with a 30 patron full venue. 25 minutes from sit down to eating time. Very friendly staff.

Fantastic food, amazing coffee (best I've had in Darwin so far) and reasonable pricing what more can you ask for.

There was a surcharge on Sunday so it was a very expensive brunch but atmosphere was good, staff were friendly and a menu for your dog too!

Paid for the burnt chicken. I was ignored by one of the staffs even after eye contact. Very overpriced. Not coming back again. Really nothing special about this place

Excellent coffee, nice and strong. In terms of food, I can only speak for the little smashed avo on toast, which was perfect for a quick takeaway breakfast after arriving on a late evening flight the night before. Friendly staff and fast service, even in the busy late morning period.

Laneway Coffee was incredible! Honestly the best mushrooms on toast I’ve ever had. Coffee was 10/10 and amazing fresh juices as well. Definitely a must visit for anyone visiting Darwin 😍

Had a most amazing brekkie at Laneway this morning. Food - the nourish bowl, OMG - was delicious and the juice of the day (pineapple, watermelon, passion fruit, and orange) was literally the best juice I’ve ever had. The staff are all friendly and the coffee is great - highly recommend!

Fantastic place! Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Coffee is amazing and the food was delicious. If you’re coming to dine in, plan to wait for a table as they are exceptionally busy.

Came here as the bacon reviews looked amazing. Did not disappoint. Was worried we wouldn’t get a table as it was packed at 11am on a Monday. We had bacon and eggs and the big breakfast. Best bacon I have ever eaten. Service was delightful. And great coffee and chai to top it off.

👍👍 Amazing food, definitely the best local Mexican restaurant in Darwin. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bean Burrito - veganised by just removing the sour cream and cheese. It was delicious! It would be nice to have an option of vegan cheese, but I still thought it was awesome.

👍👍 We stopped here for brunch after a short walk through the Botanic gardens. As with most of the places in Darwin during the dry season, outdoor eating is the preference. Raised from street level, our dining area was surrounded by plants and the sounds of birds. The menu offers a wide selection of...
