Great for a walk with good views of Darwin Harbour. If you like a run, don’t miss the free Parkrun every Saturday morning at 7am (before it gets too hot!). It starts just near the main car park.

Beautiful spot in Darwin to go for a walk with scenic views especially at sunset. Public toilets available. Wifi available at some of the benches. Lots of shady trees. Plenty of pretty photo opportunities. Not far to walk over to the waterfront for fine dining and/or swimming. Multiple informative historical signs if interested in reading about Darwin’s history.

Beautiful spot in Darwin to go for a walk and enjoying scenic views, especially during sunset. The park is well-maintained and extensive, offering a tropical ambiance and refreshing sea breeze. Those interested in learning about Darwin's history can read through the informative historical signs found throughout the park which pays tribute to the city's war effort and history. Moreover, the park has playgrounds and walking tracks for added fun and exercise. With ample seating and tables under shaded trees, the park is a delightful gem that stretches along the entire southern border of the CBD.

A huge and nice park stretching parallel to almost the length of the City of Darwin. Easy access to and from the city streets, waterfront, hotels, and historical landmarks. The park is very beautiful and has a lot of different information points, providing a glimpse of the Darwin' past. Has a well maintained playground for kids and exercise area for grown-ups, too.

Lovey park with views of the water. Walk ways and pathways take you through the park as you still have lovely views of the water. View bench seats to sit on or grab a shady tree to sit under. Beautiful plants along the park also. Recommend anyone to check it out.

A lovely green space overlooking Darwin Harbour. Lush lawns, tropical trees and plants with a children's playground and a workout space with some equipment. A meandering shared footpath/cycleway runs through it from east to west along the length of the Edplanade. Several memorials to the history of Darwin are dotted amongst the Park including the Darwin War Memorial.

My neices absolutely love this park. At 13 and 9 you would have thought they would be too "old" to have as much no phone exercise as they did! We went after dark so there were no little ones to get hurt and we all had a great time on the play equipment they have there. Photos are from a different day in daylight because our night visit was too much fun to hold a camera all night!!

What a great park, not only a beautiful parkland with trees, exercise and play equipment, but a walking historical path of monuments and information along the coastal footpath . A free must see attraction in Darwin city. Just happened to be across the road from our Hilton Hotel on the Esplanade. Glad we ventured into this wonderful park. As an Aussie I had no idea of the extent of history going back to the bombing of Darwin. I learnt a lot and appreciated the efforts of those in our past who defended our shores. Well done to those who created this outdoor nature museum of history.

Lots of play equipment. Flying fox and plenty of climbing structures. Suits older children, not so great for toddlers.

Holiday with family. Amazing, beautiful place. Have on Yr walking shoes and a drink at all times. Take a packed lunch and find a table in the shade. Loved it.

Located besides Lameroo beach. So, go for watching sunset. Peaceful. There are two war-related memorials at two ends. Informative. Children's playground in the middle. Kids can climb up very high and slide down. A lot of benches and shade. Good trails for walking. Dog on lash. Plenty of ticket parking.

Lovely quiet place to look out over the sea and relax, or read the numerous boards telling about WW2 and the local indigenous people and the roles they played in protecting Australia.

Lovely park grounds opposite the Novotel. Well maintained with public amenities available. Large shady trees and seating, or take the path for a stroll in paradise. Beautiful views of the coastline. A great environment to relax and unwind.

Visited through the peak period of summer. Trees provide lots of shade during periods of intense heat and humidity. Beware the Ant trails! The cool changes in temperature at evening provide a great place to cool off and the locals also seem to come out and enjoy also. Plaques are along the foreshore walk telling some interesting history of Darwin and the NT. Panoramic views at sunset.

Liked it a lot. The NT has done a great job creating a lovely green space for scenic views, exercise, kids and general well-being.
