Wow! What a great cafe. Right on the street front and on top of not only the hill but one of the best beaches on the coast Murrays Beach. I had a real coffee, double shot and it was well extracted, nicely done! Elle's friend lives nextdoor and raves about it so I better get back for some food. Nice location, friendly staff and Richie the owner is very amenable.

The eggs Bennie with burnt butter hollandaise was the best ever!! We also had the French toast and shared both between two. Staff were lovely and well trained. The quality of food and coffee perfect. Do yourself a favour and walk up the hill for this little gem!

I like the Hilltop Store because it's menu is slightly different and has amazingly delicious options. Great service and a lovely courtyard to sit out in the sunshine 🌞. I had polenta field mushrooms XO sauce and poached egg. My wife had eggs bene with burnt butter hollandaise OMG 😲 DELICIOUS. The eggs have amazing orange yokes and the bacon is amazing!!

Had the bruschetta, to die for! Partner had egg and bacon roll, went back the next day for another. Coffee could be more consistent but otherwise no issues. Not big enough to be little kid friendly so leave those littlies at home and treat yourself!

Food is freaking amazing! I had the Wagyu burger and a steak flat-bread and both were tender and juicy as, with just the right amount of pickle on the burger 👌 My other half had a B&E burger with mildly chilli Kale, sounds weird, tastes delicious! Somehow the chilli made my Single O taste 5 times better 🤷‍♂️ Nicer food than 99% of Sydney cafe’s, will 100% be going back for more!

Great value for breakfast (haven't had lunch, so I can't comment) and the best coffee around. Service is fantastic as well. Such a pleasurable experience. Got me for life now 😃

Really great food, albeit in relatively small portions. Service was fantastic - we'd intended to have the croquettes as an entree, but they didn't come until after we'd finished the rest of our food. We didn't really mind, in fact we might not have been entirely clear that we wanted them as an entree, but the staff deducted them from our bill regardless, which I thought was really generous. Cheers!

Stopped for coffee at 9.30am and they were busy. Staff were making coffee's like crazy. Lovely people, good coffee and great location. Was a great spot to sit and relax with a nice hot drink.

This is the spot to go. Great coffee, fantastic B & E roll. All served with grace, style and a smile. Thanks

Truly perfect experience. We came for a celebratory breakfast for my sisters 19th birthday. Ordered the Buddha bowl, French toast, avo bruschetta, and egg and bacon roll. All equally delicious (the French toast was a masterpiece). My dad is a chef and loved the place. The staff were so friendly and helpful on advising for dietary requirements or preferences. The seating is lovely- in the back, you sit in the garden from which they gather the fresh herbs for the dishes! If I could give a higher rating I would

What a great spot for a feed. We were visiting some north coast locals who recommended Hilltop and we were happy they did. We stopped for breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had a breakfast burger and it was the best breaky burger I’ve ever bought, made or eaten full stop. The service is warm and attentive, the outdoor eating area is relaxed, shady and breezy on a warm morning. Quality of food and drinks is good and the prices are consistent with what you are receiving. You can’t get much fresher herbs, they grow their own on site. Will definitely be back again before we head off home.

Delightful place. They do proper chai latte!! Delicious food, eggs Benny four options, the mushroom bruschetta was amazing. The staff are great too. And parking is much easier than in town. Thumbs up from us!

Popped in a year ago to check out the menu and opening/closing times. Atmosphere was great, looked inviting and relaxing inside and outside. Staff were very friendly. It's definitely on my list to come back and try the food. Extra points for opening early for breakfast. Today 13th Dec 2020 finally ate Eggs Benny for a late breakfast. Nice supply of bacon impressive, eggs were lovely but there was too much sauce and had an odd taste.

Came here to visit since it had good reviews. Location in a quiet place and setting is ok. What I loved was the coffee. The piccolo was just right, love the blend they use. We had burgers and it was great. Burgers were priced ok though for the price one would expect some kind of sides with it. The breakfast menu, i have the eggs. Made just right. I would only come back just only for coffee. Prices better elsewhere

Delicious roasted mushroom and grain salad. Refreshing to eat the local produce, and the chef plated the dish beautifully. The scenery is pretty chilled.

Like that you can sit by the window whilst having a meal, great way to start the morning. Gorgeous cafe interior, friendly staff & delicious breakfast.

Top Cafe restaurant style food. Top of the hill. As soon as you enter you can smell the delicious food and the ambience of design supported by owners present in the business. Local trade supported by locals and a must to explore as you pass by..
