We went to Jakes after getting terrible service at The Parrots over my emotional support dog & they were very friendly & allowed us to sit with our pup on the dock. Such a beautiful scenery & the food was GREAT . This is my new favorite place ! Thanks @Jakes for making us feel so welcomed with our pup :)

We’ve eaten at Jakes plenty of times and always have a great experience. Today(8/9), we went for lunch and again, everything was perfect. From the beautiful seaside view to the exceptional service and of course, the delicious meal. The steamed lobster was so good and mouth watering. The only issue/concern is that maybe for future reference, they could pre crack the claws before serving them. Only saying this because it was very hard to crack them myself due to how thick they were. I can’t imagine an elderly person doing it. Aside from that, perfection. Kudos to Emily our server for her attentiveness and friendly demeanor.

First time visiting Jake's, service was excellent, food was amazing, and the view, especially on the outside seating was beautiful. Definitely worth checking out.

While camping at Wompatuck State Park, we decided to take a drive over to Hull for a fish lunch. Luckily, there was ample space to park our camper van, so we stopped here at Jake's and glad we did. My wife had the scallops plate and I had the fish casserole that included shrimp, scallops and haddock in a lobster sauce. Both dishes and service were very good.

Jake's seafood does exactly as the name would imply with a menu of various dishes from the sea. Just going to prelude this by saying that this is likely not the best choice for anyone who isn't a fan of seafood. The restaurant is spacious with a nice patio overlooking a Marina, reminding you where your food came from. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We started off with steamers. I may have gotten unlucky with my choices, but mine were sadly filled with sand. For a main I tried the tuna poke. I enjoyed their take on it with a house made rice cracker with sesame to serve over the tuna. The marinade had a bit too much soy sauce and I was kind of hoping for something to accompany the cracker and tuna. Maybe some edamame or seaweed. Regardless, the dishes the rest of the group ordered were fantastic. I may have to try again sometime later this summer.

The food and service were great. We are locals and love coming here. We stop on the way out at their retail seafood shop. We grab a crab cake or some lobster to take home. It's always busy for a reason. Our philosophy with this restaurant is to come early and then sit back and enjoy.

The food was incredibly fresh and tasty, we have the blue fish, which was amazing and full of flavor, and the swordfish seasoned with cajun spices. Recommended going before 5, as they don't accept reservations, the service was average.

Went here for the first time before a concert. The food and service was great. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer which is amazing.

Terrible food. Fried fish is tasteless and soggy. It was completely wet , sitting in a pool of water. Tartar sauce tastes of vinegar. The grilled shrimp was clearly not marinated , very little flavor. Extremely over priced. Prefer hostess not sneeze all over our menus.

I got a sampler platter that sampled most everything they had everything on the menu is good people. The people are friendly the views are amazing highly recommend this place

Amazing seafood, the clam chowder was definitely memorable and one of the best around. We ordered their seafood platter and everything on there tasted very fresh.
