I had just found out I was pregnant. I needed to find a obgyn to get everything started. They were recommended to me. The Receptionist was nothing but RUDE from the beginning. I'm was trying to tell her my information and she was yelling "WHAT" "YUP" "REPEAT" and huffing on the phone. All I got were one word answers. I have never felt so disrespected. needless to say I did not make a appointment and will be looking else where.

It is the reception staffing and office manager, Shauna, here that are extremely unprofessional, rude, and unfit to interact with patients even remotely. Two months after my annual checkup, I received over a $1500 bill from the office. After speaking with my insurance company, I was made aware that reception had never run my insurance that ended up being out of network. When I brought this to the office’s attention, I was informed that it was a mistake on the receptionist’s end who, at the time, was in training and has since been fired. The receptionist assured me, as did the provider, Jennifer in the exam room when I specifically asked, that the office checks eligibility before providing any care or treatment, and if there was any doubt regarding smaller, privately owned insurance companies, the patient would be encouraged to reach out themselves to check coverage. That was not the case for me in this situation. When bringing the matter to Shauna, the office manager, in order to prevent future patients from potentially going through the same problem, I was met with extreme hostility and patronizing superiority. Shauna repeatedly interrupted and talked over me in order to place the entire responsibility on me, the patient, informing me that if I was unhappy with the care I received then I should simply not come back. Having already accepted the fiscal responsibility of settling this bill that should have been covered 100%, I was appalled at the lack of empathy and compassion from this condescending woman. While I don’t have anything against the providers themselves, I would NOT recommend the Schenectady office to anybody.

Save yourself the trouble and go to Clifton Park office instead of Schenectady. Their staff is tremendously more caring and respectful. Whenever I have to make a call to the Schenectady office and speak with Donna, a receptionist, she is unbelievably grumpy and never lets me finish speaking. No one likes to be interrupted, let alone feel like a burden when you are calling for a medical need. She should not work in a customer service position if she is going to act annoyed when someone calls. But, regardless, my family and I love Dr. Cadle, and Dr. Mcgrinder, and have nothing but a good experience when seeing them.

The reception staff at the Schenectady location is extremely unprofessional and exceedingly rude to patients in person and over the phone. They are incapable of effectively doing their job and retaining patients due to mismanaging information. I have never felt more disrespected at a medical office in my life. To feel like a burden to be seen and treated with disrespect is unacceptable. The staff here is just awful. I wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to go here or to this practice at all. For an OBGYN office I would expect the people to work here to have empathy and compassion but they absolutely don’t. Women face enough medical shame and stigma and they don’t need it added on at a OBGYN office. To make matters worse, they have a bad habit of charging you a late fee and/or no show fee even if you cancel an appointment within the appropriate time frame they set and then try to pursue you for it as much as they can even if they are in the wrong. They will falsely charge it to you and then continue to raise the charge or pester you to pay even years after you formally leave the practice as a patient. Patients should not have to pay a long standing fee because reception cannot do their job correctly or are incapable of recording information properly. Save yourself some time, money, and trouble and please go somewhere else.

The doctor I had here literally saved my life more then he realized. After 8 years and 7 doctors the OB I had was just the doc I had hoped for. Lucky number 7 after years of hell and pain and others telling me it was something that it wasn’t to have more tests just show that. I had a hysterectomy at age 38 and after surgery he apologized for others mishaps. My uterus was a mess and tests never showed what was really going on. My bladder was also infused to my uterus which caused great pain and suffering monthly. Thank you for fixing me and believing I was truly in pain

Sad I can't put 0 stars. I personally find the doctor to be incompetent. I have to post pone a surgery because she canceled it. I'm finally old enough to have a certain surgery that will help my periods. I personally don't like this place

This place is GOD AWFUL. I would not recommend my worst enemy here. The staff is incompetent, unkind, and RUDE. This place does not know what they are doing and should be reported for malpractice. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The doctor and nurses along with the receptionist are all awsome I moved from out of state and went here from my 36week up until now and am very satisfied with all my visiting. They all took good care of me and still is. Keep up the good work guys. I appreciate you all

Two years post pandemic, full vaccinated, wearing a mask and I still can’t go to my pregnant wife’s doctor appointments because of “Covid”

I can’t recall her name, but the sweet lady who answers the phone when I call always puts me in a good mood. She is so kind, thorough, and I don’t get anxiety when calling. I wish every receptionist was like her.

I have been coming here for years for GYN care. I have always been treated kindly. Dr. Steir is really kind. I find the reception staff to be extremely competent and I have never had an issue. Definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this obgyne doctors office especially Dr. Peter Stier his very concern with his patient, he explain well about your pain and stages of pregnancy. And all the staff in this office thank you for taking care of me in my two pregnancies.

I’ve always had a great experience! Jackie is my OB and is literally phenomenal and like a bestie when I’m there! Dr. Steir did one of my c-sections and was incredible both leading up to, during and after surgery. Highly recommend!
