One of the worst experiences. The first and most important thing for a hotel is to appoint a good receptionist/in charge whatever, He was so rude and treated us very badly. Whenever we try to question the room facility of the hotel, he used to yell at us. We paid money to stay, so mind it and give respect to the customers. Rooms are another big story, While entering the room, it smells like chemical detergent, the toilet is very untidy and the bedsheets were dirty too. The major part is they provide us water with some hair, Totally thumbs down for hygiene. Never and ever don't visit this hotel. Better spend more bucks and go for good hotels in Coimbatore.

I made an online booking via Yatra but the staff didn't honor the booking shouting they don't have any tie up with Yatra. Next I asked if we can make offline booking to which he said all rooms are full. It may be true the rooms are full but the way reception was behaving is very rude and sick. Will never recommend to anyone. Next I booked room in the grand plaza just Next to this hotel which was really good with polite staff.

I had booked this hotel room for a few days. We came late and as we entered the room we were surrounded by cockroaches. We were very tired so wanted to sleep but all cockroaches were enjoying on the bed also. After putting the fan on high speed, we toil a chance to sleep but next day early morning we moved to another hotel. Overall the location is good, the staff is courteous, rooms are very small but ok for Batchelors.

Front view is fine but when it comes to room its not clean at all.. and it's small also ,screens and all very dirty .. room service is very much better and good , helped us lot

Hotelvinayak is located near the Coimbatore junction. Just 5 minutes walk from the junction you can find the hotel. The Ambience location and customer response of the hotel is so good. The only bad thing I felt was the taps were not working properly,it was leaking. So hygienic and clean rooms. 4 out of 5 ratings

Tip: The same hotel/rooms are marketed as 'PPH Railotel' in many booking sites. You will most probably see it at the top of your search results. And it will be slightly higher in cost. You just skip it and search for 'Hotel Vinayak' directly. The family room (2 double beds) was Rs. 700 lesser if booked this way. Bar: Thendral bar is not recommended. They allow smoking inside and they just use heavy air sprays to hide the smell. There is 'jungle bar' in the next compound. They have some great staff and clean bar.

Old hotel. Rooms are fine. Don't expect too much. Toilet was fine. Suitable for short stay.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, but the staff and service is not satisfactory. We are from a different state, and the staff didn't understand English or Hindi. They don't have a kitchen, so even room service like tea and coffee were bought from from outside. Took more than hour to get my coffee!

This is for Thendral Bar and never tried the hotel though. Unlimited multiple variety sides for alcohol drinks, this has been the same experience for the last 8 years. Whenever I visit coimbatore, I ensure to touch this place at least once. Courteous staff and amazing food too. Sides are chicken, Idly , popcorn, boiled egg, chips, peanuts and 6 other small dishes.

I only booked the room for my relatives, didn't get any complaints. One reason for 5 star is they are flexible, so flexible. I've experienced worst service I've booked 3 AC rooms and in 1room AC is not working so I and my friend called to reception number. the manager in 2nd shift is horrible he not even have manners to talk with his customer's, so impolite and he was very rude. Instead of solving a small problem he use to scream on us just because we booked through online. I not even like to give a single star to this hotel and i don't like to refer any of my friend in future.

Worst rooms i have ever seen. First and foremost the room smells aeww......... Room condition is pathetic with patches. Bes cover and pillow cover seem to be unwashed. Ac is there for name sake. If you want to switch off bulb just remove it. If you want to off tv unplug it. You don't find switches working.

I booked 2 deluxe rooms here, but when I check-in, the rooms are not delux, they are standard rooms and very small. There are cockroaches in the room, not so clean. There might be other types of rooms not sure about those. I booked online, when I check in early at 9 am they asked me to pay 300 extra for early check in, even though rooms are available. Don't had good experience here. Better choose other hotels.

Very average place. The reception area looks nice but that's about it. The room we stayed in was small and windows opened to a wall partly and partly to some kind of store place. This made it feel all the more claustrophobic. The linen in the room needs an upgrade, especially the doormat outside the bathroom. Overall, maintenance could be better. We didn't try their restaurant, instead had food at Geetha Hall next door and it was delicious. The good thing about Hotel Vinayak is it's proximity to Coimbatore Railway Station (a 3 min walk) but then there are so many Hotels in the same lane though we do not know how good they are to be honest. I personally feel it's better to stay a bit further but in a place that offers you better value for money and if you are ok with a short commute to the railway station.

Rooms are good. Service is also great. Please provide mattress at the bathroom. So that we can dry our legs before stepping onto the bed.

Very poor maintenance in the room, there are numerous long hairs are in the bed that's very awkward to stay there, the wires in switchboards in the rooms are visible, there is a light in that room that has no switch, that costs our sleep, Feels a lot of discomfort. We don't get proper action while we complaint about it. Will add the pics if possible

Already paid a lot while booking then they took extra 1k for early check-in and when we asked 1 room will be enough for early check in then they said no you have to do for both. And even for arranging cabs are asking more money then red taxi

Every thing was good as we stayed only during night times,only problem is they don't provide handwashes in rooms, especially with kids it's mandatory to have basic things in room services.

There are different properties in the same campus , I have stayed in the new one . Rooms are decent and very well maintained with all the required facilities . Location wise opposite to railway station hardly 5 mins walk , the negative part was the management who gives false information while booking and commits for lesser price and after reaching the hotel they don't answer your calls till you leave the hotel paying higher price as per the hotel front desk. Better do booking online and avoid direct booking over phone as they are cheating by changing the prices as if they are offering for less price for direct price

Not happy with the service and the rooms we booked for 3 elders and the room was given with 2 single beds and it was not maintained properly. Water as well they don't provide for free. Hot water was also not there

The hotel is centrally located. Staffs are very co-operative and friendly. House keeping needs to be improved. Lot of stains in bath towels and bed linens which needs to be replaced.

You may have to walk for upto 15 minutes from the train station & this is the last hotel in that lane. I asked if someone could help me get my luggage from the station but all ignored, like they didn't understand. Lift is also too small & you might have a to wait for long time to get Hotel water to Bath, if you wish to leave early.

Staff kept lying and changing price horribly and the room smelled badly. There were bed bugs everywhere and rooms wasn’t cleaned. AC smelled. They cancelled our online booking after we arrived and made us take the room at twice the price booked. Don’t suggest at all.

While check out they are asking for extra money. Also the room service is not cleaning the rooms and also the rooms are not spacious. It's totally no value for money for the rooms.
