We booked one day before for three people and mentioned it clearly. Early in the morning we reached the hotel but they did not give us an extra bed for us. We asked for an extra bed but they said right now we don't have an extra bed we will give after 10 clock. Their way of talking is very rude (Reception) and worst behavior. They asked If you like to stay here or else you can choose another hotel. At the time we had no option to go away with family. Finally we stayed unhappy and next day we will go to another hotel. One star for food. I never saw this worst behavior in my previous service. Pls change this attitude otherwise we have more option .. BUT YOU .........

Best tea shop

Went for buffet lunch. Low ceiling and smell of fish in the buffet area... Couldn't be there and came out quickly. Taste of Food is also ordinary... Nothing to talk about... To make vegetarian guests comfortable, either they should move the buffet to an open area or shouldn't prepare smelly non-vegetarian items. It's a disappointing visit for me

Very poor service got a parcel today from alankar tiffinys ,inspite of insisting to make it hot the biryani was like frozen. It took only 5 mins for me to reach home.worst of worst service. Don't buy anything from alankar tiffnys. Waste of harden money

10 minutes from railway station, 30 minutes from airport. I would say that the rooms are good and service is very great. The only problem is that it is too much priced for the stay it has. Agreed that it's good, but not worth of 2.5k per night. Went here for a cousins wedding in a very nearby place . So had a good experience. But yes the price is too high for the place.

Had a hectic Stay this time.Water stagnant at the bathroom for entire day too messy no proper maintenance. Not cleanly maintained.Very Poor Response from the Hotel Staffs. They were too kind while check in but after that they treat guest with 0 response. Need to Improve the Food Standards.

Very worst behaviour at South east dining hall,,, we visited there for a lunch buffet,, we asked for a lunch buffet options,, he so much hesitated to answer and his motive is to make us to get out..... I brought my family to enjoy.. we felt frustrated there.... There are certain manners to answer.. He said us,, there are no tables, not you understand like that way...,, We asked, is there options for a lunch in a polite way,, he again said ,, don't you understand what iam saying,there are no tables in a rude way.. Feel shamed to say ,,Hotel Alankar is a 3 star hotel,, having this kind of waiters there.... Totally worst.....

Reception ambiance could be better. Lights , etc.. Even the water fountain was not working or functioning when i visit.

Went for buffet. Buffet front end Staff was not hospitable. Had booked for 10 people a day before but refused/delayed because their staff did not register our reservation. Finally got table but items were limited and did not repeat/refill. Did not get most of items, had to fill stomach what was available. Came out paying unsatisfied. Place is clean, some staffs are good mannered but not all. Overall was disappointment!

Ambience was good. It is located in the prime area in Coimbatore. However, the food was quite costly and the taste was not up to the mark. The rooms were clean. Service was good.

Love visiting south east every time I think of hosting a special event. The authentic South Indian taste still remains intact. Enjoyed the buffet as usual in a comfortable restaurant with good and quick service.

The buffet is really a great one for food lovers . The ambience is good and the staffs are really friendly. They offer buffet only on weekends. Looking forward to visit again

We went for a buffet dinner... Taste was good... Buffet dinner costs Rs.650 per head..Buffet free for kids below 12yrs... Overall taste was good.. Even veg dishes tastes good... Non veg briyani recommended one

Alankar hotel is located at right hot spot area of the Coimbatore city, we booked room in advance and rooms were clean neat as per online photos the staffs are very welcoming moreover we really loved their complementary breakfast.

Ambience of the hotel is very good. Room service can improve. A bit slow. Food was very tasty. Rooms were comfortable.

Best for dine in. I loved all the dishes that I ordered. Buffets are also available.

I stayed at Hotel Alankar Grande for 2 days. The stay was superb, room cleanliness and services were really too good. Also, this hotel is just 10 km from the airport and in the heart of the city. Though it was a business trip, I don't know the tariff, but you guys can check it on Google or any other hotel booking apps.

Had the lunch buffet which is value for money at ,900 bucks this is a good buffet with a good spread.. the food was delicious and the veg dishes where also plenty available and with good refill at all times... It may get a bit crowded hence booking a table is advisable...

Waste of money and irritating staff behavior. Don't even have common human sense there s a worst list to say about the experience 1. Reception - never seen such a ruthless behavior in any service industry. We are family with two kids one child and one infant we were struggling with the luggage and once reach lift I asked Reception u don't have any bellboy service he said if u ask I will give 😥 😠 🤬 then I asked y don't u offer this before itself since u r seeing we r struggling with kids and luggage u have to ask y I should say . 2. Room was big but very old bathroom were very old and poorly working ac was full of dust 3. KITCHEN THE VERY WORST PART WE ASKED CARROT PUREE FOR OUR 8 MONTH OLD BABY BEFORE WE ORDERED WE CHECKED IN THE KITCHEN WEATHER ITS POSSIBLE THEY SAID S IT IS TIME WAS 8.45 AM THEN WE WAITED 9.30 WENT TO HAVE BREAKFAST WE CHECKED FOR TGE BABY FOOD THEY SAID 10 MINS . THEN ITS 11 BABY SARTED CRYING THINKING THIS PUREE WE DINT FEED HIM ANYTHING ELSE AND WAITING WE CALL ROOM SERVICE THEY SAID 2 MINS 11.30 ITS NOT DELIVERED WENT TO THE DINING DIRECTLY FOR FOOD THEY SAID ITS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE FOOD QUANTITY S LESS SO ITS NOT POSSIBLE HERE. Reasonable buffet with many items . We had our team lunch and everyone liked it . Good customer service. Refills were done so fast . Food also tasted nice .

Clean rooms. Post pandemic the food service is a bit curtailed. Simple South Indian Dosa is available only for a limited period. However, the Chapati and Mixed Vegetable was well made. Thank you.

We went to Alankar Grande restaurant for lunch yesterday. The food quantity was too scanty. Kitchen kept refilling the food very slowly. We had to wait for refill. At one point it felt awkward to wait. So we skipped it and took only items which were available. And today we are experiencing ulcer. Stomach is completely upset and burning. Not sure of the quality of food preparation.

Very worst experience.first of all had to wait for a long time for each and every dish ordered.the chicken soup was horrible.even the main courses were less in quantity and tasted average only.finally they had an outdated pos machine and the first time the debit card was declined and the second time money got debited from my account but they said the payment is failed and got cash from us saying it will be credited back in 3 days if not we can contact them for cash back.but I didn't get cash back in my account for 10 days and when contacted the hotel the response was very poor and I'm still waiting for the refund left with an option to give a RBI complaint and regretting why we went to such a place

I have traveled a lot. And I can safely say it's the best hotel. And it has the best BEST BESTEST food. No joke. I have been coming there for more than a decade.

We went to Alankar today after long time for a get together. Food was good. Unfortunately the service was very poor. Plates, cuttlery were not available Plates were not cleared from table Food items were not replinished on time even after hinting them

Hotel not maintained properly and service is extremely slow. Staff is not helpful and extremely rude. We stayed in a suite. Room condition was okay, but housekeeping was very poor condition. Also breakfast service was extremely slow despite there being only 2-3 guests

The hotel is a bit old buy very clean and welcoming. Staff are very polite .. worth the price.

All rooms are not same in size, though all are same price. No information prior to booking. Pillow covers are dirty, looks like not replaced. Towels are not cleaned properly.

Be careful about the food at the restaurants - they provided stale food to us for dinner. Breakfast food was cold. We had food poisoning and fell sick.

Better avoid. We used to visit frequently, but now it has lost its charm. Today went for Lunch buffet, food was average. Most of the items were cold, as if prepared in the morning. Not worth to spend time and have a lousy food.
