Good veg restaurant near the main Gandhipuram bus stand. The food was of good quality. The service is okay but there is a delay in getting orders. The place seems crowded always since it is in a main spot. Overall a neat and well maintained restaurant. Recommended for a good breakfast. Note :- maps show Sree Annapoorna but the name outside is Sree Gowrishankar. The place is same only.

The hotel is located on road so it is better you park somewhere because parking is a big issue if in four wheeler. Right now there are renovation going on so the entrance of the place is not the great lile open drainage and everything. Apart from this the ambience is good and food is tasty. Annapoorna is famous for it sambar right now the standard is reduced but they have a decent sambar. I would recommend their iconic sambar dishes and they have right now incorporated more of pastries ans sweets which are really good. Pastries are eggless so you could buy them. Apart from during peak hours you can park the fodu wheeler in a common place near the textile stores which is the only place you can be sure that they are safe. Overall enjoy the food it is really tasty.

I'm visiting this place from last 8years. I love their Rosemilk and Badham milk. They are just awesome. Wherever I visit coimbatore I'll visit here. The tiffin items are also awesome. They have good variety and taste is also good. Staffs here are kind and food is delivered on time. The place is clean and worth visiting. Best place to visit for budget friendly hygine food in and around gandipuram. The only improvement required is the rest rooms which could be improved. Overall this place is worth visiting for food. Visited this hotel for a quick lunch. It was not very busy. Ordered roast dosa and it was tasty. The side dishes were many and were in good quantity. Service was pretty quick. They asked if I want hot water and gave me. They also accepted UPI payment. The only problem was it is very easy to miss the hotel. I couldn't find it unless I used Google maps. I was just standing in front of the hotel.

This is one of the restaurants of the famous Annapoorna chain in Coimbatore. Close to the Gandhipuram central bus stand and town bus stand serving good quality vegetarian food. They serve authentic south Indian food. But the service was not that great compared to other restaurants of the same chain. I visited for dinner on Christmas Eve and there was a lot of crowd and delayed service. So, not a bad place when not crowded.

Ganapathy Annapoorna is also good and the plus is car parking. Here in bus stand hotel two wheelers parking is easy but four wheeler little tough to manage.

Amazing Annapoorna hotel. Food is Excellent, as usual. Crazy crowd. But well managed. Proper social distancing was maintained. For each table there is a huge cardboard divider, that can be used to maintain social distancing, if sitting with strangers. By default, they're serving everyone hot water for drinking. Nice gesture for the covid times.

There might be a small confusion but the name as per the hoarding of this eatery is called 'Sree Gowrishankar'. It's situated right in the heart of Gandhipuram town in Coimbatore. This has been my go to restaurant for breakfast every time I have visited Coimbatore. We tried Ghee masala dosa,Paper dosa and Idli. The Ghee masala dosa has a golden brown color when compared to the dosas as get in Bangalore and this clearly adds to the taste of the dosa. The chutneys that we got along with these items were limited in quantity but I guess the saying 'Less is more' plays a very important role in their business model because then we get to cherish each dip of our dosas in their chutney and all the chutneys were simply epic 😋❣️ Oh yes and do try out their Pongal too,I have heard some of regular visitors say that it's heavenly 👌❤️✅ Best wishes to Sree Gowrishankar 😃

The cleaning staff keeps the table neat and clean after the customers have eaten. We stopped here for a light and quick lunch before catching the bus for Isha Yoga Centre. You can enjoy delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner here. Only thing is that during lunch time you will not get snacks. The cost also doesn't pinch your pocket. I was visiting coimbatore and just called up Annapoorna hotel to check if the hotel is open for service on Sunday.. I got a rude response from the person who picked up the phone saying don't you check the news, we are only open for delivery.. A simple Yes we are open for service, or No we are not open for service due to lockdown would have done it. A simple piece of advice keep your attitude in check, you guys are in service oriented business.. I wanted to try this place out, now I have lost interest.

Located street facing the cross cut road, it is definitely a crowded veg restaurant. Annapoorna as usual never disappoints you with the taste. Ghe roast is the must try. No dedicated car and bike parking available. It's a challenge to find a bike parking in thebusy road. So plan accordingly.

The customers are still at the mercy of the suppliers who might take their own time to come to the table to announce whats there and take your order, after you are seated. Yes! There are no menu cards. You may order something and then wait for some time and get to know it is not available. Not the problem of waiters but management can help in acquiring more handheld devices that can be updated when an item is not available anymore. Maybe a mindset of "Dont change it if it is not broken completely" by the management. The waiters' speed of delivery and the cooking staff have to be applauded for the speed of service in spite of the crowd and limited staff (at peak hours).

Annapoorna is not as old. I am coimbatorian. I am eating in annapoorna years. But this time food is same. But service is poor poor poor. The floor manager is a lady. They way she handled people is bad. We are paying for our food. But the way she treat as a person who have food without money. In service industry this attitude will close the business. So annapoorna management team please concentrate in service part and give training to your service people how to handle coustomers at prime time. It will help to stand in the business for long time. I had food in annapoorna which is located in gandhipuram mofazzal bus stand.

Near bus terminal, so busy always but team is managing but still to improve. Nobody is there to help to seat we have to wait n get seated quality and tasty food, service is good rates are reasonable
