There's is nothing seems to special about this restaurant , when I visited this restaurant with my friends have faced a disgusting issue , that we have find a worm in the biriyani which made every one uncomfortable , and we have raised a complain to the manager there ,he just casually answer that the worm is not in the biriyani it's in the brinjal thokku . He did not know that we have not taken single spoon of brinjal thokku for biriyani.by the ways we can assume that the worm came form brinjal thokku , but how can we casually says that ,quit it's seems to be a 4 star hotel how can he careless about cut and clean the vegetables , I think this reason only suite for a non verified local hotel and not for hotel which we afford more prize and time .

One of the best Biriyani spots in coimbatore, a must visit place. Plenty of dine-in seat available. Take-out was not that long hardly 10 min of waiting time. Service was good. Food was really awesome. They do have options of biriyani in bucket. Next to it is a small cafe shop joint called Dearr. surprised to see many antique items on display. thy do have shakes as well.

Star biriyani at RS Puram. Restaurant with some parking space amidst the busy RS Puram roads. Restaurant was neat and homely and is open till 11pm in the night. We tried chicken biryani, fish 65, kola balls and tandoori and it all costed around 1950rs for 4 mems with an average of 500rs for a member. Server boy there helped us by informing when they cooked the biriany and which starters taste good and how will it be . Chicken biriyani - was outstanding. I went to the shop for more than 4 times and the taste was consitant. So dependable shop. Tandoori - rightly cooked with good taste. Dips provided were good. Kola balls - really enjoyed kola balls after a long time . Last time I enjoyed it was in a small restaurant named "trouser thatha kadai " and it felt the same taste here. Fish 65 - was usual and good. On the whole good restaurant to get good biriyani in RS Puram and biriyani lovers would love it.

I visited this place for about 5+ times, But every time I make an order for empty Biriyani or other low priced items. They tell us it's not available and insist us to go for the High priced items impliedly. But they serve the same low priced item to the other table where people make big orders with big family or group. I witnessed this personally several times. It's a cute tactic. I wish they should post a message or banner that most low priced items mentioned in the menu will not be served. It's mentioned only to fill the space. Not even deserved for the single star. Not recommended. Ordered chicken 65 biriyani but received normal chicken biryani. Brinjal chutney was very bad. In curd raita there was a small bit of hair. After order they took around 30 mins to deliever. Very disappointed.

One among the best flavoured Biriyani, I’m a fan of star Biriyani, recently we bought 1.5 kg mutton Biriyani, and it was excess for our family of 10 members. Mutton pieces were too small and quantity of pieces equivalent to that of the rice was bit less, when compared to dine-in. But still you’ll enjoy the flavour of seeraga samba rice along with the mutton flavour. Parking is cumbersome, kids play area is available. Dine in space is wide, service is appreciable. All major cards/Cash and UPI payment accepted. Toilet facility available.

A complete tamilnadu biriyani. The restaurant is Situated in a quiet area,Parking available for 10 vehicles.Biriyani was fine taste with their gravy is excellent. But Moderately expensive. Rs. 300, rs. 200 for one briyani i think it's very expensive for middle class peoples.

It took 15min just to take the order,They didn't mention the preparation time when we ordered, after 15min they said it would take 20min for the mutton biriyani. After 30min we are still waiting for them to serve then came the mutton biriyani, rice was sticky and the mutton wasn't tender (actually it was too hard)which gave me toothache, after that we had give compliments for the chef who made it tooth aching briyani but they didn't care then the waiter reduced 1 of 3 mutton briyani to kushka in the bill which is ok but still it wasn't suppose to happen. Very disappointed. I don't recommend people going there. Bad experience

Worst food... I would suggest not to try here.. I have bought 1.pepper chicken soup - worst In taste, no flovour, no chicken, it's like hot water. 2. Purrota - they gave reheated, no soft, very hard to eat. Gravy is not good, too much of spice they added...not able to eat. 3. Chicken Kothu - taste good, quantity is very less. 4. Chettinadu chicken gravy - less quantity, not spicy, not tasty. Cost me around 800. Not at all. Satisfied with anything. Not worth for money. Kindly avoid this hotel.

Taste classic I had a chicken biriyani + chicken lollipop + plain naan + Andra chicken masala + fresh lime We shared among 3 people Andra chicken masala was spicy and was my favourite. It was a great combo , I wish everyone try this . The ambiance in red white and some sandle colors was amazing. Calm place no hurry berry just relax and taste the food. The service was excellent and friendly, Yes truly excellent . Security uncle super . Even though the approach road was under construction the restaurant had good parking space. For more details u can go through the menu given by other reviewers. It will help you to reduce confusions while ordering.

We went restaurant at 9pm on Saturday. After sitting in a table no one came for order note for more than 20 mins then I called them then only came and received order nite. After 25mins received biriyaniea then no one came to serve raitha Or anything. Each tym i called then in raised volume then only they came. Poor customer service. Pro: Taste Ambience City centre Cons: High price for all items. Okay. Prices high and prices also for customer service but service ratings is zero 00000. Totally disappointed for loww quantity food for huge price. Instead go for some mid range hotel. Even for a raitha Or water you have to call them for long time and so many times. Finally 1 star for theri ambience and taste of biriyani. Other items are not good.

If you are going to Coimbatore you must try Ambur Biryani. The car was parked on the road side. The hotel is a little off the road. Hotel staff are courteous.

Ambur star briyani is very famous but here briyani is very very very spicy cannot tolerate. They should consider this ASAP. Other dishes are fine and they don't have any fresh juices or milkshakes . They don't have ample space for car parking but can be parked in nearby places.

Probably the worst Star Biriyani outlet I ever visited. Service was super slow ( there was no crowd at all still ) No parking space. Poor customer service. We ordered Biriyani & chicken sukka. Biriyani was okay. But chicken sukka was a disaster. I won’t recommend this outlet at all.

Briyani is good..Service is good..We have ordered some briyani , chicken starters and paneer 65...paneer 65 was not good and very oily..We had complained them about the quality of the dish and requested them to cancel it.....They accepted it and Cancelled it...No ample parking space..we need to park on the road side...

Waited for more than half an hour,even though restaurant was empty, grilled chicken was not cooked properly,it was raw inside and when inform ,same was microwaved and given, Biryani which we ordered wa less in masala and was tasting very blonde, expected a good ambur style briyani but not even near to any type of biryani.

As usual authentic ambur style biryani. Mutton pieces are so soft and tasty. Quantity was more than enough for one person. Alfaham chicken is best. Mr. Yousuf, was very polite and as usual friendly. Met him after many years. Ambience is good. All the very best.

We have been waited more than hour and got only an unboiled rice briyani., The waiter said wait 5 mins 5 mins only. While informing to the cashier he said "what can i do" And his response also rude it is not a way to treat the customer.

Overall good ambiance and service. The location is prime and delivery was fast. Only one drawback is no proper toilet. We have to go inside the kitchen to access. (I won't recommended for families to use)

The style of Ambur reflects quite well in this restaurant. Quantum of spices is good and the taste with their gravy is excellent. The service is done by Sampath and partha they have polite attitude. Good serving. But the price of the briyani is too high for the quantity thy provided.

I called for Prawns Masala. Rs 220. And there arrived a largish bowl of Prawns masala, with maybe ten to fifteen units of mid sized prawns. Actually a steal, back in Mumbai the fare would easily cost twice as much. Thick and spicy gravy, ginger laden and springy prawns.

The place was good, neat n clean. Specialist by their tasty yummy biriyani, and grills and tandoori . Chokhi chicken was so dry and chewy and the mayonnaise was not good by taste . That was a little disappointment. Otherwise the tast was so yummy.
