This park is just amazing! Many beautiful 100 years+ old trees will surprise you. There’s a small Lake which is also beautiful, have some children play area and has boating facility. The park has many many levels of steps to go down and cherish the beauty throughout the garden. Must Appreciate the horticulture team who is best in maintaining it. Best place for nature lovers who would like to see different types of trees which can be rarely seen only in botanical gardens. Also they have installed water vending machine & it feels satisfying to drink the water after the good long walk in the park.

With an entry fee of 40Rs, we saw this big beautiful garden. The lush green garden had a lot of flowers and birds. It had a boat house but the pond inside the garden was small.

It's on the way to Dolphin Bose view point. It's covered in Tea Estate as suggested and there are secenic points for photos plus one can get photographs 📸 in costumes too for additional cost. Roads are narrow and if ur visiting on weekends or Public holidays be ready for congestion and long traffic 🚦⛔ rest the view are though breathtaking 💕🥰😍

its good, they show you the whole process of making tea from leaves in their factory and in the end you get a free sample of tea. You also get an option to buy tea in multiple varieties at their store. Look for the hoarding explaining the process at every step.

Dolphin's Nose in Coonoor is a majestic viewpoint that offers a truly awe-inspiring experience. Perched atop a cliff, the panoramic vistas of the lush tea estates, cascading waterfalls, and the misty valleys below create a breathtaking sight. The cool breeze and serene atmosphere add to the charm of this place. The trek to reach the viewpoint is adventurous and rewarding, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts. Dolphin's Nose is a hidden gem that leaves you mesmerized by its natural beauty, making it an unforgettable destination in Coonoor.

This is a tea factory and made for tourists visiting point too.. It was OK, there is nothing much to explore here, you will not get any guide to explain what is going on,how the tea leaves processed and which is what kind of tea,nothing.. Its just a walk see processing machines and chocolate processing machine, get some chocolates and shop for tea/chocolate and oils.. Entry fee was 20 INR per and tou will get tea which was disgusting and chocolate which is like 2 Rupees chocolate.. I recommend not to buy anything here if you have plans to visit, Coonur tea estate that will be great stop compared to this one..

Entry fee is 20 per head. You get to explore the variety of tea . You could also have a traditional photoshoot. The give you a free cup of tea which is worth tasting . That's one of an experience you should have when you visit Ooty.

Very beautiful park and well maintained. If you are a fan of trees, plants and flowers then you will love this place. There are a variety of tall tall trees here. It is noteworthy that their name and age details are mentioned on the board attached to the trees. You can find one of the oldest big trees here.

This park is just great! Many beautiful 100 years old trees will amaze you. Lake is also beautiful. It has many many steps to go down and enjoy the beauty in all through the garden.

Sims Garden, the trees were lovely and few flowering plants. If you like huge trees this is the place for you. Magnificent extremely beautiful and big trees well maintained, plenty of toilets. There is sandwich and food place just outside the garden for a quick bite. Pay Parking available outside the garden. Entry fee ticket counter is at the entrance. They asked us for covid certificate details, don't know why, but allowed rest of us to go without certificate also. Not recommended for senior citizens as you have to climb a lot of stairs. Takes about 1.5 hours to finish. Slides and play area available for kids. But was a bit crowded.

    1. I m not sure about other seasons, but if you like a foggy background in your picture, then winter is the right time for you to visit this place. I visited this place in December and the view was extremely beautiful. 2. It was not cold, but don't remove your jacket, else your dresses will get wet. 3. Unfortunately I couldn't do boating as it was closing time for lunch. 4. Kid's play area was there. But I felt like supervision is required as the slides were too stiff(this is my personal feeling) 5. Ticket cost Rs30 adult. Free entry for kids under 5

Loved the place ..... Pure nature lovers delight..Loved the atmosphere and the trees. Some trees are more than 100 years old and the park is maintained well. If you want to spend some time breathing fresh air and enjoy the multiple colors of flowers and plants, please visit the park. 🙂

A very decent park for family and kids. We have to buy an entrance ticket. Neat Garden with small boating area. Kids playground inside the garden. A one hour visit is enough to view this park. Public toilet facility available.

This is a beautiful Park. And one of the most watchable place in Coonoor. Usually you will find more crowded during weekends Saturday and Sunday. During weekdays there won't be much crowd. Here the parking is main problem for two wheeler and four wheeler. You can spend 2 to 3 hours in this Park. There is no much activity here but there is a small boat house inside the park. We can see more varieties of flowers. In one end of the park will find Sims Park nursery. there you can buy nursery plants. Inside the park they are also selling tea bags. It's nice place for photography.

Sim’s park is a less congested park , the flora and fauna is rich in variety and very soothing to the mind. They do have a small boating facility too. Do pay attention to how old the trees are, some of them are at least 152 + years older. You can find the 152 year old tree in my pictures below . Do enjoy ur time there. Your like are welcome 🙏

Nice place to visit. You can take a lot of pictures on your own and also few photographers available to make a memory of that place and you. Down they have a small boating facility. And also have some children play area. You will enjoy to keep going down. Once you seen all the places down there getting up is the difficult part for some people. They some seating arrangements and you can feel the calmness and peace. TAN Tea shop ia available for tea purchase. Ticket cost for adult is ₹40. Though it's a nice and well maintained place yet they don't have exclusive parking facility. But we can park in the road corners.

Excellent garden with great variety of flowers. Just left of entrance there is a 107 year old jamun tree! Apart from flowers there is ac lot of birds and giant black golden squirrels. Good washroom available. Every with mask only. If you forget to take one - one can buy it from a little toy shop outside the ticket counter. Huge size garden.

As beutiful as ever. Well maintained park. It's not so easy to maintain a huge area like this. Hats off

Enjoyed my visit to this natural garden. Park has some rare trees. The elephant leg tree truly resembles the leg of an elephant as the title suggests. A marvelous tree. Not that other trees are any less beautiful. They're. Visitors can go for a boat ride on a not too large pond, perhaps at a cost. Well laid out pathways enable young and old to take a walk through the undulating landscape. A memorable experience indeed.

Very beautiful and well maintained park with trees from 1800s. We purchased a few plants from there which were inexpensive and healthy.

👍👍 Prettiest café I've ever visited! Is inside a private Home, need to cross and try not to take pictures of the private property on the way to the actual café. A very friendly host, much love to her. Loved the whimsical garden arrangements. Not very sure if I'd do just to the café by writing about it...

👍 This small café, run by two friendly ladies on the terrace of their home, left a great impression on us, and we ended up visiting twice. They offer a limited but satisfying menu that includes coffee, tea, momos, sandwiches, burgers, cutlets, and a couple of other items. What makes this place a must...
