We
were
there
on
a
weekend
for
a
function
at
Sadivayal,
a
few
kms
away
from
the
falls,
we
made
it
here,
as
it
was
close
by.
Lucky
coincidence.
The
whole
walk,
and
ride
from
the
check
post/ticket
counter,
to
the
falls
proper
was
a
thrill,
wonderful
scenes,
through
timber
trees,
continuous
sounds
of
insects,
and
distant
water
falls
and
flow.
The
look
from
the
view
tower
on
the
way,
was
bright
and
clear
of
the
foothills,
to
distant
mountain
range,
with
its
tree
cover.
The
falls
was
visible
from
a
distance
with
the
sounds
of
it's
torrential
flow
down.
We
crossed
the
stream
on
the
bridge
and
walked
down
the
meandering
steps
to
the
bathing
ghats.
It
was
safe,
with
built
up
sides,
and
barricades
and
space
for
changing
garments.
The
natural
fall
was
masoned
to
help
the
bathers
have
an
organised
bath.
Safe,
secure
and
wonderful
for
a
family
trek,
or
for
students,
with
ritualistic
checking
for
arms
and
whatever,
at
the
check
points.

The
only
place
I
know
where
everyone
gets
to
ride
the
public
transport,
inspite
of
their
status.
