Go earlier to this place in weekend times with your friends and family. Nice place to visit in Coimbatore with water falls and hill view. Nice trekking place (2km) only Have fun over there We enjoyed lot over there You can get Unforgettable memories Note that point: Mostly take your own food to save money. because there …the expense’s of snacks are more.

Once we reached the entrance, we bought tickets. Then we walked up to the Bus Point where buses were coming to take visitors inside the reserved area. The Bus Point has some shops catering to the thirst of the visitors. On the opposite of the Bus Point and the Shops is the car parking area. The Bus takes 10 minutes to reach the Bus Point inside the forest. From there you walk uphill. It takes 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on the capacity. There are scenic and photographic locations while going up the trek. After the trek you reach the waterfall point. Iron Bridges and platforms are there which you shall cross to reach the other side of the river, and then you take the stairs downhill. Mind you that the steps are very big. It does hurt your knees. There are washrooms and changing rooms located. You can change your dress and take a bath. It's great and worth it.

Forest personnel at Chinnar check post are too rude & chase away the common man. The Kovai Kutralam falls is not open to public even after relaxing most of the COVID restrictions & even after opening schools today. At least they should have put up banner announcing closure near Perur to avoid wasting costly Petrol & Diesel by general public. When these forest department personnel get salary because we pay 31.2% income tax and 28% GST even for essential items, common man should be respected. Isn’t it??

A beautiful serene place till you reach the bathing spot, but everyone is there to enjoy, though the crowd is scary given the Covid period has not yet passed. The pure air and the walk under the shadows of the tall trees and surrounded by the virgin fauna is a blissful sight..

Takes around 1 and half hour from Coimbatore. Entry ticket for person is Rs.60 and for vehicle Rs.50. Entry will be closed at 2:00 PM and exit around 6:00 PM. After taking the ticket we have waited in a line and needed to get on a bus which takes deep in the forest area and there after needed to walk around 800 metres. It's a three step water fall and the place contains restrooms and changing rooms for both men and women. A great place to visit.

One of the best places ,I least cared to visit, although living in the same city, It was a fabulous place to spend time. First you will have to park your vehicle and board a bus which will drop you at a place from there starts a little walk among the forest, it is a mesmerizing experience to see all the nature preserved inside the city, then you reach the waterfalls where you can spend time with friends and family as well. Beautiful place to visit, pack it as a 1- day vacation. Timings - 9AM to 2.30PM Please plan accordingly. Beautiful experience.

This Falls is located 40kms from Coimbatore Junction railway station. It operates only from 10 Am to 2 Pm. Better be there before 1:30 PM to be able to go there and enjoy. You can come out anytime though before 5:00 Pm. But make sure you come out before all the crowd disappears. You'll have to pay 60 per adult for a 5 minute bus journey and a walk of about 1km to reach the Falls. The Falls is very cold and refreshing water. Also known to be the second sweetest waterfalls in the world.

Best water place for weekend fun. There is a entry tickets for adults and childrens. No private vehicles are allowed from the main entrance. Should only be travelled by forest vehicle. It's about 2KM from the entrance. Usually this place is crowd specially on weekends. This waterfalls is looks really amazing. There is no snacks shop available near waterfalls so manage accordingly. On an average it will take 2.5 to 3 hours for this waterfalls. Very peaceful place and dence forest. At the time of entrance of this waterfalls there is a checking point where plastic bottles are not allowed. Tickets also should be showed at checking point. Well maintained waterfalls. Please do not litter and garbage or plastic. Its is best place for weekend trip and one day trip. This waterfalls is amazing and fasinates people to it.

Absolutely loved the falls, the water is so good and cold. One has to walk some distance after the bus drop point to have a look at the Siruvani waterfalls. The flow of the water was not that much but still enjoyed. Do visit with your family for a fun one day getaway.

Best place to get chill with family and friends . There need to trek for 2km inside the jungle . Not recommend to go in water slide rock in waterfall . It may cause some injury in hand or knee so be carefull in these rides. Per head ₹50-₹60 is collected in entrance. Rainy season are not recommended because some times were not allowed due to heavy rain. Safe place to be get chilled with family. There were monkey problem lots monkeys are wandering be aware of them.

There is a nice trek to the waterfall, they allow people to take a bath under the waterfalls or you can just lay around on natural pool. There is a watch tower that falls on the way with great view. But the place could be more efficient. You have to stand in a line for the ticket counter, then park your vehicle little inside, and then again stand in another line for a bus that takes you 3km inside from where you have to walk about 1km. No one tells you these details before you head out. It's good but not worth the pain you take in the hot summer to finally reach the waterfall. And then you may not even find a place to stand.

The water here is known as the sweetest water in the world. I went to this place on weekend, so it was pretty crowded. Firstly we have to take a ticket to enter into the parking space. There we can park our vehicle and we have to stand in line to get into the bus. The parking area is full of monkeys, dogs and cows. The monkeys will roam around, so people who leave their belongings in the car make sure that the doors a properly closed. The bus will arrive after a 20 min long wait and it will lead us to the trekking spot. The bus journey is of 5 to 10 mins, covering an area of almost 1 km. We can see beautiful sights on the way. After reaching the trekking spot we have to walk a distance of almost 1 km to reach the main waterfall. On the way, there is a view point from where we get a sight of the whole mountain range. The water fall is a sight to see and we can enjoy in the small ponds down there.

We were there on a weekend for a function at Sadivayal, a few kms away from the falls, we made it here, as it was close by. Lucky coincidence. The whole walk, and ride from the check post/ticket counter, to the falls proper was a thrill, wonderful scenes, through timber trees, continuous sounds of insects, and distant water falls and flow. The look from the view tower on the way, was bright and clear of the foothills, to distant mountain range, with its tree cover. The falls was visible from a distance with the sounds of it's torrential flow down. We crossed the stream on the bridge and walked down the meandering steps to the bathing ghats. It was safe, with built up sides, and barricades and space for changing garments. The natural fall was masoned to help the bathers have an organised bath. Safe, secure and wonderful for a family trek, or for students, with ritualistic checking for arms and whatever, at the check points. P. S. The only place I know where everyone gets to ride the public transport, inspite of their status.

Opening timing is 10 Am. I don't know the closing time. After a walk for 200 meters there will be a checking of bags and plastic water bottle is not allowed, plastics covers and plastic items too. After finishing the checking of bags there will be a bus, it is free of cost. And they pick-up from the checking place and drops 400metres away from the water fall. We have to go by walking to the waterfalls. The water is so 🆒.

The Waterfalls opens at 10am and ticket issue close at 2pm. You have to buy tickets in the entrance checkpost itself and luggage checking done in another place. After that they have separate bus to go near the Waterfalls. And exit time is 3:45 - 4 range.

Siruvani waterfalls or Kovai kutralam both are same. From the checkpost outside vehicles are not allowed we should use government Vehicle to reach the falls. Even after reaching the place need to walk 3 more kilometres to reach the falls. It is an man made falls beware of monkeys. Since the travellers giving tasty food to wild animals, they started coming to man places, to avoid this Government advises to not give any kind of foods to animals. Some people gave sugarcane to elephant then elephant tasted it and coming to man places and starts killing man. So only strict rules taken. My personal advice there is no hotels available for food better have your food outside hotels.

A good place spend half a day in coimbatore. Parking space is available with a fee of 50/car. Entry fee 50/person. Have to take a van from there (charges inclusive). Have to trek for almost 1 km from drop point. The trek is not so difficult but could be tiresome for elderly or differently abled. Place could be crowded during weekend afternoons.

Great place for a day outing with family and friends. You can get your quota of Sunlight, Walk and fresh air and water. All in all a nice Nature trip. Loved the walk through the Jungle from the bus drop-off point to the Waterfall. It is safe for family. first you guys need to take the entry ticket and then the forest officers take you to the forest via van, then you have walk few distance. best water fall, but my best advice is don't go as a single, go as a couple or with friends, if you went as a single person it leads to jealousy or stomach burning.

Not the best place I would say. The government has provided all the facilities but we as a respective citizens should use it in a proper way. Not kid friendly. Make sure to have an eye. You have to pay INR 60 per person as an entry charge exactly 3.5Kms from the entrance. You will be taken in a Government bus 2.4 km and then you have to walk for 900m

Dont expect a falls of more real, It is a fall's like one made to fall the water using some concrete work. But travelling to it will give the peace if no crowd was there. Apt for families with aged or minor children no risk in going there.

Siruvani Waterfalls located in Coimbatore District is said to be the second tastiest water in the world. Siruvani Water was brought to coimbatore after a lot of hardwork. The Water Was So Fresh and tasty indeed, it's because the water flows through the forest with lots of minerals. A major tourist attraction in Coimbatore Fondly called Kovai Kutralam. The waterfalls is located within the forest so they will be dropping you till a certain limit and from there you need to Trek for 15 mins to reach the waterfall. Timings is from 9.30AM to 2.30PM and For Entry ₹60/- Per Person and Two Wheeler ₹20/- Monday Holiday ⚠️

Good place for nature lovers. Neatly maintained accommodation. Clean food. Well organised nature walk and hiking. Don't forget to buy bee wax based vaporup and natural honey. Teakwood based kitchen utensils are another attraction. Hats off to Kerala forest department staffs. And special thanks to Sanjay (former DFO of this reserve) who made this turnaround.

One time must visit place. It will be comfortable for you if you book tickets online a day prior to visit.

Good scenic place to visit near Coimbatore. There were two waterfalls and a pool area. Though the waterfalls were small, it was nice compared to artificial ones. There were a lot of crowds even during weekdays. Online booking available only for accommodation, for regular day visit tickets needs to be booked in the ticket counter. Ticket booking opens at 10AM and around 200 meter walk to the van pickup centre where there is usual checking for plastic items. Car parking is also in the same place for which the ticket needs to be purchased as well. From the place where they leave us in the van, approximately around 2km walk to the falls. as we near the falls, there are a lot of steps to walk down to the falls. The number of vans are very less so it's best to visit before 10AM in the morning. Return pickup from the falls is mostly delayed due to improper planning of the management, there will always be a long queue. Two wheeler parking is near the booking counter and beware of the monkeys which are kind of experienced to open the bag pouch for food in two wheelers. The ticket price for adults is ₹60. Overall a good getaway place to enjoy with family or friends.

Such a wonderful place.. though its summer we had a nice time in falls .. there was an information that water level is low but there is enough water to take bath .. entry ticket is 60 rs for adult for car parking 50 rs.. Go early on weekends since it will be rush if u reach by 9.30 am it would be better. If it is late u need to wait in a long queue.. After van travel u need to walk around 1 km to reach falls.

Nature lover and those loves trekking can visit. You can see mesmerizing view from there. Although I don't recommend u to bath there. I recommend u to just enjoy the nature and the views which are breathtaking.

Had a great time with family. We were stopped from taking shower in the falls due to rain. Place can be improved in many ways. Facilities like Toilets, rooms for changing dress are available but unusable.

One of the famous tourist spot in Coimbatore District. Located at Coimbatore -Siruvani Dam route. Location/Spot name is called "Kovai Courtallam (Kovai Kuttralam)". This water falls is surrounded by forests and mountains. Children likes very much. To reach this Water Falls, you have to go to Saadivayal. From Saadivayal, Forest Department is arranging to reach through their vehicles. Buses available from Coimbatore at specific time only (Buses available from Gandhipuram Town Bus Stand in Coimbatore). Bus destination name is Saadivayal/Siruvani. Saadivayal is located at near to Karunya University. Note: After Afternoon not allowed to enter to the falls.

I visited this place by this March. Nice place to visit. Happily send a day with natural water. Ticket counter will close at 2 PM and no online payment only the cash option available. Once we reached that location. They were having specific transport in there. No additional charges for this vehicle included in that ticket as well. We can only use that vehicle. We have to travel 2km using that transport. And once we reached destination we have to Walk 1km for waterfalls. In there they have locker rooms to store our things with the charges of ₹20. Adult ₹60 Childrens ₹25 2 Wheeler parking ₹20
