Probably the most serene spot to visit around Coonoor, this tea estate is spectacular from every stretch of imagination. Perched on the slopes of the mighty Nilgiri Hills of Tamil Nadu, this is a place that had left me completely enthralled during my visit. From lush green tea garden, to the tea processing factory, everything about this place is simply breathtaking. Apart from cherishing the wonderful natural environment, you can also visit the tea manufacturing factory. The workers there are more than happy to explain you about the entire tea manufacturing process. Right from plucking the tea leaves, to selection, to drying & to the final packaging, the whole process is performed very efficiently. There is also a tea souvenir shop, from where you can purchase original, fresh and affordable Nilgiri Tea Leaves. The varieties of tea available in that shop will surprise you for sure. Highly recommended place to visit.πŸ‘πŸ»

It located at Coonoor near Ooty Nilgiri district. Singara Tea Estate is located about to 23km from Kort and 4km from Coonoor. This estate of 2500 acres is owned by actress Mumtaz husband. This view of the tea estate is very good and you can click your own and family photo's. This tea estate can be seen on the way to Dolphins nose view point. No entry fee. What a beautiful place to visit! So much greenery :) The lush green estate is owned by the famous Bollywood actress Mumtaz! It has good no of factory outlets where you can taste amazing tea and purchase varieties which you won't find in Indian market as majority of this Oakwood brand tea is exported. The place also has a chocolate factory where you can taste amazing hand made chocolates :)We could not find this place at all. We could see the estate from the road and it looked amazing. We were looking for an experience where we walk through the plantation and then taste the variety of products.

Tea lovers it's a must visit. It's a beautiful place full of lush green tea plantations. However the entrance for this is a bit far from what is shown on maps. I would request to take help from locals to visit. Enjoy the place while sipping tea.

It is a nice place to visit, they have a tea processing outlet where you can experience the process and buy a variety of tea and chocolates like masala tea, chocolate tea, green tea. They provide a 500gm packet only, you can spend 1 hour easily and click some good pictures and enjoy the surroundings. There is no entry fee.

Best tea garden in coonoor with fog covered throughout the year and factory outlet where you can taste variety of tea and chocolate. Compared to Ooty , found coonoor is best in terms of chocolate and tea for price as well as quality. Coonoor is cheaper and you can get that packed fresh in front of you. don't miss to add this in your bucket list if you are visiting coonoor

This tea estate has a shop where you can taste and buy variety of tea. Like chocolate tea, masala tea, green tea. They also sell chocolates. They show how eucalyptus oil is manufactured and also sell it. In the tea estate they provide rental clothes to get a pic . View is awesome.

The tea estate is located in the way to the dolphins point and there is a factory outlet for the tea and other spices. People stopping at this point results in continiously roadblock. The estate is beautiful with many commercial photographers will offer to take photographs in the traditional tea pluckers costume which is basically Assamese.

Lovely and scenic tea estate to take pic and good quality and well packed tea in different flavours. You can also taste tea too. This time I had cardamom tea. You can get homemade chocolate too.

We could not find this place at all. We could see the estate from the road and it looked amazing but never found the tour office. We drove all the way till the end where we found a warehouse kind of place. The people there told us there is no plantation tour. We ended up going to a different factory and were disappointed. We were looking for an experience where we walk through the plantation and then taste the variety of products.
