Annamalai Murugan temple is located near Ooty and the Murugan located in this temple is special in this area. There is a Kalyana mantapam located with this temple . During Krithigai people will be crowded and special poojas done here. There is also a Cave template located in the side.

The template is dedicated to Shri Subrahmanya swamy and has sanctums of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Gayatri devi and Krishna as well. Located on a hillock, the temple is an awesome place for a great view of the surrounding areas. The drive up is a bit steep, but the views are simply out of the world. This temple is off the grid and a great place for some quiet meditation and lovely views. One of our personal highlights was the mist drifting across the hills opposite to the temple and a tree with a huge canopy playing the ideal host for a family photograph.

Amazing. Serene and beautiful. Must visit. Peaceful temple. This place also had a view point, where we can see a large area including manjoor town. Also the view of river. Recommended.

Excellent place..must visit..annamalai murugan temple is a divine place located with wonderful view point. Along with blessing of Lord Muruga you will get peace of mind and kids will love this place. Take them yourself and you cannot deny my point. They do annadhanam, please donate if possible

Nice place to visit with family and friends

The most calm and serene Murugan temple visited so far and don’t think there can be another place with this view, peace and Bhakti. The Poojari there was super accommodative and also ensured we take the Prasadam (Anna daanam) which is served daily at 1:00 PM. A must visit place and those travelling from Coimbatore, no need to go through Ooty. Direct road from Karamadai. Caution - Hairpin bends 🙂

Very nice temple and excellent ambiance on top of the hill. A calm and cool place to visit. Lord Muruga is the main god here, and Every day free meals for all devotees here. It's a very big place and has a superb location. 15 min drive from the manjoor. Very big space for parking and view point also there. We can see the 360 degree hills view from here. Poojari and people are good here. Peaceful place to visit in holidays here.

Lord Murugan and Shiva temple on top of the hill. Scenic and spacious location. Shiva statue placed in a cave which we have to walk down hill, not suitable for elderly since the path is ruggered.

Located on the top of a scenic hill .A must visit for all those who travel to ooty via mull- Manjoor route. It is know for The "anna danam" (daily free lunch). Approach road is narrow but maintained well.
