Wow.. Such a scenic place and breathtaking view of the hills by just leaning over the park which is a very rare to find such a spot. And there is a view over railway track and there is a sound of falling water aside mountains.. Overall pretty clean and tidy park !!

Well maintained and with a good view of the plantation and the greenery around. Also, if you're lucky, you can see the Nilgiris express choo-ing by.

This garden cum tourist place is full of greenery and scenic beauty. Clear sky makes the garden much more beautiful and the constant murmur of the nearby river will add to its beauty. It's well maintained, clean, and may offer sale of saplings and seed.Toilets are clean.

This is a well maintained park with lots of greenary. When we visited the place it was drizzling and that made the view even more relaxing and beautiful. This place is located on the route to ooty from metupalayam. The entry fee was 20 Rs per head which is required to maintain it. I didnt get more time to spend there due to our schedule but next time will definitely visit it again.

This park is situated in the way towards Ooty. The Entry fee is also cheap and good scenic area. If we step down, we could see the rail root and a river as well. Good spot for photography and outside the we have few shops for snack time.

In comparison to ooty parks, it is a considerably more well-kept, green, and serene park. It is worthwhile to visit, therefore please add that to the Coonoor or Ooty agenda. You can easily go down and relish spending time here because its entrance is right on the road as you head towards Ooty. The park is sufficiently large and has a play area for children. Park is well-kept, clean, and organised. If you're lucky, you might even be able view the Ooty toy train track from one location of the park. Even a small waterfall that flows close can be seen. Briefly, it's a very lovely spot to visit. This park is well-kept and has a lot of vegetation. On the road from Metupalayam to Ooty, this location is. The admittance charge, which is necessary to keep it running, was 20 Rs per person. Have good parking space just on the side of the park, and parking charges are also minimal. It's good spot to have a photoshoot for any commercials or pre-wedding. Washrooms also available near the entrance which were enough clean. Sone snacks shops are there at the entrance of the park where you can get tea, coffee, popcorn and some snacks. Hope you enjoy here:) 🙂

Kattery Park is located before Coonoor just after u enter Nilgiri foothills. It is spread over an area of 5 acres of land. It is beautifully maintained garden, with an excellent landscape and a couple of species of flowers. The park can be enjoyed by all age group people and is not difficult to explore. A good place to take a break if one is travelling from Coimbatore to Coonoor. A nice place for a small family picnic. The scenic beauty of Nilgiri hills can be enjoyed here.

It's a very beautiful park, much well maintained and green, crowd free when compared to ooty parks. Please include it to your Coonoor or Ooty itinerary, it's worth the visit. It's entrance is located just on road when you are traveling towards ooty, so you can easily get down and enjoy your time here. Park is big enough, kids play area is available too. Well watered, clean and tidy park. Parking is available inside premises or you can even park cars just on road close to entrance. From one area of the park, even the Nilgiri toy train track is visible, if lucky enough you can watch train too. You can even spot small waterfall flowing nearby. In short its a very beautiful place to enjoy views with family and friends.

Such a pretty place to spend time. It is located on the highway with nice view and if you are lucky enough, you can even get down and spend time on the toy train track if they allow you to. 10Rs charged as entry fee. A small food outlet is there. This place is not much crowded as it is halfway to Ooty. I have visited it on driving downhill. Note. This way of reaching Ooty so really hectic with tons of traffic, so if you want to have a safe and crowd free journey, take the other route. This place cab be skipped and still you lose nothing special in the trip

An average garden which is good for photoshoot. Less crowded and clean park compared to other parks/gardens in Ooty. Good parking space too. Restroom was not clean and poorly managed. Parking and Entry fees are applicable. Nearby we have Runnmede railway station for which entry seems to be prohibited. The location looks good for photoshoot and sight seeing.

This place is well-maintained by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department, and they charge a 20-rupee entry fee for adults, with a parking fee of 40 rupees. What sets this place apart is its stunning views, offering ample opportunities for memorable photos. In the morning, you can also catch a glimpse of the toy train, so I recommend visiting in the morning. It is situated near Coonoor on the way to Ooty and has decent restroom facilities.

Perhaps the most beautiful, scenic and peaceful park in whole of Ooty and Coonoor: for the ones who seek solace. It has nice plantations overlooking tea plantations, waterfall (can see from a distance) and a railway track on the periphery where you can see the Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train if you are there on specific time.

I had visited Coonoor a couple of times. But I had never heard of this park earlier. This time, when I was googling , I found out about this and read some great reviews of the park. When I visited it, my jaw dropped at the unimaginable beauty of the whole place. You have a quaint park set amidst such a spectacular location with hills, waterfalls, railway track, huge trees, tea plantations surrounding it. The park is maintained extremely well and you find it so joyful to just take a stroll here looking at the supremely beautiful atmosphere. Its just around 6-7 Km from Coonoor main town on the Mettupalyam road. Don't know if it's a blessing or what looking at the sparse crowd here. But it is just the top spot to visit in Coonoor. Entry fee is applicable.

Located just 7 km away from the coonoor city, Kattery Park is a well-maintained park where one can enjoy the natural beauty along with a wide variety of colourful and fascinating flowers. It is a wonderful spot for sightseeing lovers and is no less than a heaven. Spread over an area of 5.5 acres of land, the Kattery Park has been a picturesque location which offers spectacular views of the surrounding forests and is comparatively less crowded than other attractions in Coonoor. Visit the flower garden area to interact with more than 25 different types of flowers. This includes a good collection of cacti, shrubs and ornamental flowers. Take your kids to the children’s park for some recreational activities. It is a great spot for families to enjoy a picnic with their loved ones. You can also stop at the canteen to have your favourite snack items. There is also a water fountain area. A must visit place . Entry fee is Rs 20.

Except the zip line for Adults and a large swing they are currently building, there is no other fun activities for Adults. They do have trampoline, bungee jumping and play area for kids. The view point tower provides a view of one side of one lake.

I just loved the time spent at the park with my cousin. This is the only park with the view of beautiful landscape every angle you turn around unlike other gardens in nilgirls. One can see a river flowing by and the nilgiri mountain train track. What more can a nature lover can ask for? Totally worth visiting. Well maintained 👍

The park is located on the main road and you can spot it easily. The park was filled with photographers with brides and indeed it is a good place for photography. Ample space available for parking. Minimal entry fee. The place was neatly maintained and litter-free. Try visiting the railway station nearby, which was mesmerizing. One of the must visit parks in Ooty district.

There's not much herem a park with well manicured lawns, and flower beds that will go to bloom in season. But if you want to spend time in some "civilised" serenity, the visit is worth the trip. Normally, spend from 1-2 hours. If you have the whole day, you could do that too! No crowd, no honking vehicles, "humanised" nature. And there is the Runnynede railway station on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway - a quaint place to see the train come and go. There is also tge Coonoor river downstream from Laws falls, I full-bodied now, as it rumbles away towards Kallar and Metupalayam.
