I
booked
this
hotel
as
it
was
close
to
the
airport
and
belonged
to
the
Marriott
brand.
I
have
been
using
Marriott
properties
since
2015
and
have
never
faced
any
major
issues,
but
this
time
was
different.
At
around
4:30
pm,
the
housekeeping
fellow
knocked
and
opened
the
gate
using
his
master
key,
as
he
wanted
to
clean
the
room.
I
complained
to
the
staff
later
in
the
evening,
but
it
didn't
seem
to
bother
them,
it
seemed
like
a
common
practice.
The
front
office
manager
and
housekeeper
manager
assured
me
this
would
never
happen
ever
again
and
that
it
was
one
of
the
mistakes.
They
assured
me
and,
as
i
had
booked
a
room
for
next
week,
also
requested
me
not
to
cancel
the
same
and
give
them
one
more
opportunity.
A
week
later,
when
I
checked
in
again,
the
team
at
the
counter
updated
at
3:30pm
that
the
room
was
not
ready
and
will
take
some
time
to
be
ready,
He
said
it
may
take
15
minutes,
as
the
check
in
time
was
3
pm,
it
was
quite
surprising
to
know
that
hotel
was
not
ready
with
room
and
the
person
on
the
counter
was
not
sure
what
will
be
the
exact
time
for
room,
On
reaching
to
room
division
manager,
it
seemed
he
did
not
cared
much
as
hotel
is
sold
out.
Its
terrible
to
see
that
during
Covid
times
all
the
hotels
were
struggling
to
get
business
and
now
when
they
have
the
business,
they
are
struggling
to
keep
the
consumer.
I
am
very
disappointed
with
the
experience.
My
five
years
of
loyalty
matter
nothing
to
the
group.
