Awesome vegetarian mess. Good service. Mess is neat. If you are someone who prefer home tastier vegetarian food, u can go here.. dosa is very big n tasty for just 40rs.. Taste of home cooked food at nominal price. But only dosas were available when we visited at 8.45 pm for dinner.

One of the authentic palaghat brahmin eatery located in Ram Nagar. Operates for lunch and dinner. The taste of the food is very good. The service is also good. They have adequate parking for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler can be parked on the road side. The price is also very reasonable. They have some sweets and savouries also

Too less quantity. Koottu is full of water. When we buy 2 kuttu hardly 12 small pieces of vegetables and balance only water. Obviously there is no taste. Avaraikai curry today, the quantity is too poor. Otherthan Sambar vegetables are useless.

Very impressed with the food and the service... The owner was suggesting the food we should taste, which was a lot of dishes and they were competing with each other and it was difficult to pick one dish which stood out since all of them were good... Haven't had dishes tasting like this in a long time... Thank you... It was a really good experience and being an Indian need to add this that it was very pocket friendly...

NOT RECOMMENDED Had Meals from here, they charged Rs.110 /- Items I got for Rs. 110 /- Rice Sambar Pickle Salt Some vegetable thoran Some vegetable curry That it's No refill of rice - no Rasam - no moor or anything Waiters not bothered about this. I waited 5 minutes with leaf thinking they will come. It's better you walk 10 minutes and go Geeta Canteen and have mini meals for Rs. 75 2 times items u get with that cost. It was a bad decision from me thinking that mess will good like in trivandrum 😑

Very good and taste vegetarian food, but the sambar has bit of sour flavour! This maybe because of Tamarind, but this is bit acceptable than other restaurants. Papadam was nice, I liked 👍 it. Buttermilk was also tasty 😋. Most of the vegetarian restaurant in Coimbatore has this taste, I have tasted nearly 4-5 restaurants. 😉 At lunch time, it's crowded, you may have wait for a while and no order of Que etc... so if you're lucky enough you would find a seat. At times the owner cum chaser would assist but not all the time. I heard it's run and managed by a Brahman owner but they have to instruct their people on how to place food items I.e. which location on the plantain (banana) leaf. He has server slat on the "right side" for his convenience rather left side on the banana leaf! This is wrong way/place of putting slat!!! Everything has a reason which is followed by so many decades. I have informed the person and then owner about it, but not sure how far they would understand this!!! Bcoz Everything is commercialized in today's world 🌎. Anyways, over all, it's worth eating here. I guess Rs. 110 per lunch they charge. It's in 1st Floor so it's bit challenging for people who has issues to claim steps.

Just had lemon rice and curd rice, as nothing else was available at 2 pm. I dont know why papad was packed in a thick plastic cover. Actually there was more plastic than food. For lemon rice, they gave beans poriyal which did not match at all, and for curd rice some kootu that was awful :( Overall taste will never entice me to go again, but since i am so near by will try dinner once.. :)

Not a worthy meals for RS. 100. Rice became like mud, sambar and rasam are nice. Vatha kulambu like water. Moreover they didn't have sweet, while I asked they told sweet or pyasam on Friday only...don't go.. not a worthy lunch for they charging..pleasen shut the shop and handover to someone who give tasty foid

A simple, stomach friendly (for kids too) and budget hotel in Coimbatore. It doesn't have a big ambience to show off, but definitely good and no so pricey food. I often take my kid there and this is one hotel from where I confidently get food for my kid (my kid is just 3yo now)

No harm to stomach and no digestion problem. Ventilation in the poorly managed fact. Kitchen fumes are irritating and couldn't enjoy the food.

In sarojini street. Situated on the first floor of a house. Had lunch here. Meals cost Rs.110. Curd and Paruppu vadai cost Rs.10. Served in plantain leaf. Usual food items like any other mess. Nothing extraordinary or bad. They will fill if asked or they themselves refill. Gets crowded and people start to stand near us like in a marriage hall and hence we need to slightly rush to finish the food. Can come in two wheeler only. Cars can't be taken here.

I recently dined at a vegetarian restaurant, and I must say, the taste was exceptional. The food had that comforting, homemade quality that's often hard to find in restaurants. I have been to this place only twice. When I was going for the first time, it was downstairs now they shifted to upstairs. Initially I had idly with coconut, sambar and brinjal chutney which was amazing. Taste wise I liked it so much. Then I had onion rava, which was also nice. Coffee was missing though. No hot drinks available.

If you are looking for 100% home cooked bhramins food best place to enjoy. They are not commercial. Pricing is very nominal but the quality of the meals is fantastic. Only request is please try provide gee for people who ask at extra cost.

Lunch has a authentic taste , earlier it was 80 rs now 110 , but it's really worth for it , you don't get this veg taste anywhere , in center town.. Parking facility isn't available, especially when you travel in car for 2 wheeler you can adjust and park..

Very expensive mess I had ever seen in this coimbatore... Less Quantity More Money!! Their concept of staretgy 😂 well explained !! The quality of the food is good but the quantity is less and expensive hotel . Service staffs are not elegant to provide more quantity while they serve !! If u wish have a high quantity with good quality and reasonable price better prefer Geetha canteen near that ( not in a mind to promote ; it's a small advice)

The food is fine well and good but the ambience, service,respect for the customer is very poor. Literally the old man (owner) is scholding the poor mentality disturbed staff very badly and he was threatening him that he would slap him and thrash him up if he was in his sight which made me feel bad.

Lacking only in a good ambience, but food is great. Service may also be improved a bit though.

Worst Hotel I've ever seen, they are busy talking instead of preparing the food, worst taste too, packaging was totally worst, even a road side shop would pack good, worst ambience and staff behaviour, i do not recommend this hotel for dining or takeaway, kindly avoid!

Tried their Meals Here Taste was good! With Sufficient Side Dishes and Rice! We were looking for meals around 3PM found this shop in maps and gave them a call to confirm whether the meals is still available! On confirmation we went here and was satisfied with the meals!

My family's favourite restaurant to go to. I have tried almost all of their dishes and all of them are delicious. Their puttu, idiyappam with kadala curry, paniyaram and curd semiya are one of the best available in Coimbatore.

Few Years back when I visited Sri Krishna Iyer mess while I was in Coimbatore... It is awesome experience... food was so delicious வீட்டு சாப்பாடு மாதிரி ... Now when I visited this time on 20th October... It was awful experience... Diagonally opposite experience... Please improve ... We want you people to grow to the next level

Homely Gentle Vegetarian treat is always in place from Sri Krishna Iyer Mess. People who prefer Sadvic food, Jain food, authentic vegetarian food can thoroughly enjoy and have satisfaction in having food from here.

Vegetarian Meals is the Best but the quantity of other variety rices are minimal.

The quantity served was too low for that cost, taste wise it's ok. Ultimately quiet costly

Food is good. Prices are reasonable. But they fail to look at waiting customers. They have a 16 seater capacity , but even with 8 people, it looks fully occupied. No effort on the part of, either the customers or of the staff to make work out accommodation for the waiting people.

Don’t taste like iyer mess. Added Taramind loads into sambar, Rasam... Worst experience.

Rasam , kootu and vetha kozhambu are quite watery and less in quantity. Kindly avoid adding water and increase the quantity. You can increase the price, no problems. Please maintain the quality. Well wisher.

Lunch used to be good and we went for Dinner..Went at 7:00 PM but no items were available except Dosa and Kichidi... Dosa was very small... And the cost seem to be comparatively high for the size...
