Healthy food at Economical price in a hygienic ambience This Self-service Canteen was started on 20th August 2010, in order to meet the needs of the waiting patients in the Medical centre, who have to take food before giving their blood for testing. Any public can utilize this facility. Healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at almost one third of the market prices. Freshly baked Bread,Bun & Sandwich are also sold here. Herbal juices are sold here every early morning. Around 15000 public are being served every day. Well-equipped, modern and hygienic kitchen facilities are available. Clean wash area and rest rooms add to the comfort. High quality and branded provisions are only used. No artificial flavors or colors are added to induce taste. The oil once used is never recycled for health reasons. Free Meals are provided for the Helpless Aged people on Daily basis.

Less cost and healthy foods. *Currently SSS Canteen is opened only for Patients not for public people due to Covid-19 restrictions. *If you have the medical or scan appointment bill only you can able to go and have any mela or snacks inside the canteen. *SSS canteen now acting as a Snacks and Canteen both. Previously before covid it was only for canteen. Shanthi Snacks area is another building. Photos are attached for your reference.

Shanthi Gears offers high quality food at a very cheap cost, and more importantly with great hospitality making it a must place to visit in Coimbatore. All of the staffs show respect and behave well matured. Definitely there should be some training for them on how to behave. You even have a separate canteen for old age people and a high quality snacks bar offering healthy snacks. This also has a quite big children's park which your kids might enjoy. There is an hospital and an optical store all follow the same mantra, Quality, Affordability & Caring.

Excellent quality food at 20 INR. They are cooking lunch for 3500 persons. beyond that they serve with simple sambar and rasam. If you be there before 1:15 PM IST you can get all varieties like poriyal, kootu, paayasam, Puli kozhambu and curd. Today, I ate there all dishes are perfect. Take a bag for buying snacks, they Rs.10 for cloth bag. I will definitely take 1 bag next time and buy some snacks.
