I have stopped by this temple somwhere around 2004. That time it was a small temple. Now 2022 and i thought of atop by when i was travelling from perungudi to talamalai, but to my surprise it has become a very big temple and when my son amd myself went there was huge queue. However the mulasthanam is visible even from long distance though i cant make out to see the god very well but can see the priest doing pooja, aarti, putting maala etc. That is the tharisanam we got. Someone close by shared prasatham and we went arou d temple and resumed our journey as it was getting late.

Goddess Bannari Amman is powerful and the western ghats behind the temple makes a scenic backdrop. And also perfect tourist place for families and friends. Temple is maintained neatly as well. This temple is located in the foothills of Sathyamangalam forest. The temple has a decently huge complex. You have free darshan and paid darshan of various costs.

Great. Location and diety was perfect. Very famous among locals. First time I had been here. Nice temple. Must visit place. Again cleanliness. The surrounding of temple was so dirty even the way to maintain entrance was pathetic. People should be educated to not litter in open and use bin. 🙄 Request temple Authorities to take care of this

As you plan to come to this temple you will get good environment on the way to here. Good experience with nature on the way. Once you plan Bannari first come to this temple and can go to Bhavanisagar Dam which is 13 km from here. The temple is very powerful and a calm place. Really powerful temple which you must go atleast once to experience it. Here you have a small shop inside to buy some snacks by the temple itself. Go with family and have a religious pleasure here. Half a day or full day trip to temple and dam. Do plan accordingly to go .

Bannari Amman temple is situated in Bannari on NH 209, near Sathyamangalam, Erode district, Tamilnadu. The main deity at the temple is goddess Mariamman (the goddess of rain), an avatar of goddess Parvathi. The goddess is considered powerful in the Tamil and Kannada folklore, and roughly every village in the Kongu region of Tamil Nadu has a Mariamman temple. One will feel full of positive potential energy once you enter this temple premises. Koose Munisamy Veerappan also worshipped and strongly believed in this goddess.

For newcomers: -> car parking available -> restroom available -> lactation room available -> annadhanam was there at the time of writing this (11 nov 2023, 13:14) Review: The temple is usual, nothing special. But the traveling part is amazing. Roads are smooth, best place to cruise. The temple is located in a forest kinda place where there are frequent speed breaks due to animal activities. Good place for devotional enthus, i would not recommend this place for non-devotional persons but overall this is a 3/5 star place.

This is one of my favourite temples. During the festival lakhs of people will get gathered here. It's located very near to the Reserved forest. Sometimes we can see the elephants too 😉. Also it's a tamilnadu and Karnataka border area. Bannai amman gundam festival is very famous. I took a special ticket for dharsan. But general dharsan approximately 20min wait time during regular days. But during holidays and festival days the wait will be more. The TamilNadu government sponsored prasadam will be distributed everyday.

Temple just adjacent to Mysuru highway in Sathiyamangalam about 12kms. Lit of frequency is there to reach. A very powerful Devi temple and more celebration festivals in all auspicious days. I really wondered that the temple is maintained in good manner because I went after many years. Good facility for devotees and cleaned area. Devotees offering to Amman in various method and most faithful Devine power and pilgrims are coming from all parts of country.

Very divine Amman pilgrimage temple.. The goddes Bannari takes care of the whole forest and it's neighborhood villages. Many larger surroundings called mandampam or rest areas constructed newly.. Temple premises are neat and clean.. Kudos to temple officials.. Powerful Goddess Bannari Amman.. Quick darsham if you reach before 10 morning. Temple closure time is 9PM. Only for 10 to 15 mins during afternoon (uchi Kala Pooja) no darshan.

I recently visited the Arulmigu Bannariamman Temple and had an incredible experience. The temple is known for its powerful deity, and I can personally attest to that. The divine energy inside was awe-inspiring, and I felt a deep sense of spirituality during my visit. The temple's maintenance is truly commendable. The premises were clean, well-kept, and organized, creating a peaceful atmosphere for devotees to worship. Agreed that Goddess Bannari Amman is powerful and the western ghats behind the temple making scenic backdrop. However temple department is fallowing a weird method to allow devotees to the temple. Every devotee should undergo a Covid-19 test & then only are allowed to stand in dharshan queue. Even if devotees provide certificate for completing two vaccine shots, they should also take Covid-19 test at the temple again. If you don’t agree to take tests you are not allowed. Aged people coming from as far as Pollachi or Coimbatore or inconvenienced due to this. At least temple administration should have publicized this information in newspapers or tv media to make common man aware of this requirement. I haven’t come across any such mandatory requirement from any other temple in Tamilnadu. Strangely there is no one in temple administration to watch out for devotees entering without mask.

I have been visiting this temple since 1993 and every time I come here I have so much of peace. Have seen temple as a very small place of worship and was used as a base camp by the STF too. Now the temple has grown so much in size and great to see so many devotees come here. God bless all of us. I’ll keep going there for as long as I can 👍🏼

Powerful goddess sitting in dense forest. This temple is very famous in the Kongu region. Kundam festival happens every year during Tamil month Panguni. Lakhs of devotees come to the temple from various places from the Kongu region. Even Karnataka people would come in more numbers. The place is very divine and if you go at 6 AM in the morning you can feel the freshness in the air and darshan would be great. I always love to visit this temple and get the positive vibes.

Very divine experiences. Not much crowd. But one thing is only one flower shop. A normal 50 rs garland they demanded 130. Otherwise super. Visit in the evening. You can get chance to see the golden chariot running.

A site of power and bhakthi... You can feel the energy and vibes the moment you enter the sacred temple... The devi, Bannariamman here is considered to bless her devotees with fulfillment of their wishes... Originally she was considered the guardian of the Bannari town and the surrounding forests... But now her prowess has spread wide and far... A definite must visit...

This temple is on the Bannari road side which the name of the place hints you. This place was commercialized now and I personally feel the look of the temple was good before 30 years while Veerappan was alive. No such huge structure was available by that time which we see now. Opposite to the temple there is a park available.

I visited this temple last week after more than 10 years. The elegance and tbe peaceful environment does not change a bit. Moreover it is improved a lot with the ancient designs of Tamil Temple architecture. This temple is at par with the famous TN temples like Samayapuram Mariyamman, Madurai Meenakshi Amman, Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi, Melmalaiyanur Angala parameshwari. We had Devine Dharsan of Bannari Amman.
