Because of this only, people of Coimbatore enjoying the Ooty climate, here. 🎏 Fisher man, fishing in the morning. Lot of people walking both in the Morning and Evening. Ground water level will increase in this area because of this water Reservoir

It's pretty sad that such a big tank not well maintained.. The authorities could do a walkable path around this tank and add beauty to the tank. The tank host some good avifauna diversity too. Instead of beautification and modifying, the government is actually filling some portion of lake to construct a road.. this is really a blunter and they are soon gonna face calamities

To a sceinic view of periya kulam lake, this point is best, photography point. Want to spend some time with nature nd peace i recommend u here

Nice Lake in Coimbatore. People coming here are just dumping the trash items like bottles, cups etc. Shops at entrance are selling food items covered in plastic. Good place to spend time with your loved ones and take Selfies. Boating was not available during my visit. Entrance is Free.

A beautiful and very well maintained lake. The entire parameter has been covered by roads. One side is for vehicles only and the other side is for pedestrians. During the sunset time it gives a beautiful view, you just can't afford to miss that beautiful moment. The perimeter is well protected by boundaries. During the sunrise this entire place turns into a red colour. Both sunset and sunrise are beautiful times. Small fishes are also present. Various water plants can also be seen here.
