To reach Gandhipark, frequent buses available from Gandhipuram Town Bus Stand, Vadavalli and Townhall. Outside the Park, Spinach (Keerai) and Gooseberry (Nellikkai) available in the street shop.

There is a stage with wide sitting area available for meeting and other shows. People may express their talent in that. Many good paintings and animal structures are inside the park for better view. Surprised to see a public park well designed & in use by a lot in all walks of life. Thougtfully designed to cater all age groups - senior citizens to kids. Dense greenery with large trees makes it refreshing. Public toilet facility is reasonably maintained. Meditation hall is quite neat & useful. Park could have been maintained better, particularly the water fountain, Amby theater & walking paths. Drunkards menace needs serious conteol, as few individuals could affect the larger public users.

I was really excited since I was going to an amusement park for the first time in my life. So me and some of my friends I had invited, got into the car with my mom and dad, ready to have the time of our lives at the amusement park. On my way back from Maruthamalai , got down at Gandhi Park bus stop to goto RSPuram. Spend very less time in the park. I have been to the park long back .. but now they have renovated the park and beautified it. They have made good pavements for the people to go walking. There are animal statues spread across the park.. but no real animals. The park needs more maintenence and some more attractions to make it more attractive for people to visit.

I've been there a few times. Open during morning and evening time only. No entry fees. Nice round park.A good amount of space is there. Shuttle and skating area too there in the park. Suits for walking. There is a separate play area within the park, unconcreted, sand filled for small kids. Lots of bats will be hanging during the daytime. Their waste is all over the park. This is one of the neagtitvities. There is a temple inside the park, too. Swimming pool is situated close by. Overall, it's a good place for those around that area to spend time either with kids if you don't mind the Bats.

Gandhi park is a significant park campus and it is a major bus stop and route. The park campus is neatly maintained. It was inaugurated by minister S.P. Velumani. I could observe good efforts to make the park as lively and excellent as possible. There's a room for meditation and fountains all around the park. There was also a huge open area where I could see many people playing badminton. There were also two separate badminton courts with nets. I'm a Chennai vaasi and I could see an auditorium like area with stairs in the park (just like the one in Anna Nagar tower park, Chennai). The park was lush with greenery and there was a seperate 'herbal park' section. There was also a swimming pool (not sure if it was a part of the park as it had a separate entrance). The area of the park and the serene ambience make it a good place to practice walking and to have a relaxed visit.

The swimming pool there is really good except that the water there is so cold. But had a good experience overall. 👌🏻.

Good place in the middle of crowded city. This is small garden with swings for kids and good path to walk. Clean but still needs more cleaning to wipe of birds poop from everywhere. This place had small open auditorium where u can sit and relax. It has densely grown trees all around which make it really green place. Around evening lights around path and on tress will makes this place more interesting . It has separate kids playing area. Artificial waterfall was there but I think it works occasionally ( it's was not working the day I visited.)
