The lake will be bright and shining like melted silver during afternoons. Whenever I'm commuting through this route I'll stop for few minutes to enjoy the view of the lake. Nice place to visit near Coimbatore.

Once a very beautiful place. Now it's not maintained properly. Water and the area smells very bad.

Sulur lake located Sulur to Muthugounenputhur route it's connect Trichy road to Avinashi road. You can visit evening time or morning time is good to see birds .but by road side still some of people dumping waste into lakes if govt as well all the people need to take lake like don't dump waste and should remove old plants as well need to improve as Tourism spot . Natural gift we need to take care .

Place not maintained well even for small outing. No fishing is allowed here since it is leased - so people need to watch out of they have plans for fishing.

Water has never dried here. One of the biggest lake Coimbatore where water will be there always. Before boat house was functioning here. Now it is shut down for unknown reasons. But still people spend sometime here at the entrance of the boat house. This lake is the biggest reason of water source around this area’s agriculture lands. Good scenic view. Overall it’s a biggest lake which needs to protected forever.

Could do with some infrastructure improvements. Otherwise it is a very beautiful little lake especially in the evenings. A good evening getaway for the weekends.
