I went for Ornithological study and photographing birds. Foriegn birds started coming. But people do open desecration on the banks of Lake. Many construction activities on. All dump sewage into the lake. Central government policy of toilet is not implemented properly. Excellent place for ornithological study. Vehicle horn, engine noise, air and water pollution affecting birds. No watch tower. Human waste every where. Plastic and Termocol waste liter water. God only can save these birds. Previous fresh water lake is consumed by many greedy real-estate developers

Amazing place. I visited TN for a day and came across this.. was worth it.. The scenic beauty was outstanding. It's pretty much clean..... You should definitely visit this place during sunset and sunrise.

It’s a beautiful lake near Kovaipudhur. Unfortunately, you can only view it from a distance. There are ample opportunities to make it a tourist spot. For example- the visitors can sit on the benches and take a close view of lake, bird watching using binoculars, boating etc. Hope it will become a tourist attraction someday!

As the name indicates, it is in Perur. Very near from Sundakamuthur village. On the way to perur, it's on the left side. Could be 2kms or so length. One side of the lake can only be accessed and is protected with a wall. Otherwise, it is filled with water. There are no activities to do here. Can come here and sit on the wall and have a nice walk during the evening or morning. Lots of birds do fishing here.

Perur Lake is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is in summer almost dry but after heavy rain or in Rainy season, it becomes full of water. A access road is being made on the eastern side of the lake to join nearby village with the main road. People use to run motor bike down the dry part of the lake. You can see lots of bird in the middle land of the lake. These are probably migratory birds. Noyyal river is connected to the lake.

It is a good sight seeing place. People are parking their vehicle to have a look at the beautiful sight. ?
