Amazing place in coonoor, this is near military area. Very beautiful sunsets can be seen. There is option for boating also but timings by the time we reach it was closed. If you want a lake to chill, sit and admire the beauty of Connor, this is the place to go. Greenery is simple breathtaking.

This is very good place where people can take their family especially childrens. You can have fun by have boat riding, there is a children's park in this area, this place is located in army area and this lake is under the control of Indian army.

A peaceful lake very close to the Madras regiment museum. The water is not quite clear but it sure is surrounded by ample greenery. There are a few ducks in the lake. There is a walkway around the perimeter of the lake and they also offer boating at very low prices, but they have very few boats. You can just take a stroll across the lake and you'll also find a small caged house for hamsters which are really cute. The entry fees is Rs 20 per person.

A lake maintained by the member s of the MRC (Madras Regimental Center) and DRCC (Defence Service Staff College), the Wellington Lake is a good spot to rejuvenate and get away from the more touristy places around Conoor. The lake itself is small with the option of paddleboats. There are a few animals around including ducks and rabbits, a collection of rocks from various places and a nice walking path around the lake with a rather rickety bridge at one end. A basic musical fountain which runs in the evening is also there. .

Cheap and best option for a short pedal boating experience. It is always our first stop on the way to ooty. Hope they fix the restrooms inside the Park soon. Otherwise a great place to visit.
