The kurichi lake in its full glory. The Kurichi lake has filled up due to the rains and continuous inflow. The banks of the lake is being spruced up and beautified with a pathway along the entire stretch to allow cyclists and the general public to walk. It is also a haven for migratory birds to rest and rejuvenate as they fly across to their destination.

One of the best sunset views, but the parking and the gates are very far away. And it becomes hard to make it a peaceful evening when you have a car.

Awesome, location for AE. Good morning or evening walk. The Coimbatore Corporation has done an excellent job of playing pathway for comfortable walking. The highlight is the Thiruvalluvar statue at the end of the pathway, other statues about Tamil culture are also installed All the statues will be unveiled during the Pongal festival
