#Nature gift Lake view, it's nearer to IUDB colony, and on the way to PERUR temple, kovai kuttralam, Kovai kondattam, Isha and vellingiri hills...just to opposite a temple and High school also located...some migratory birds visit here....

As I visit my cousin to coimbatore. He lives near the petrol pump beside the lake. Daily we will go to the lake side There was many peacock. Loved this place

Nice place to enjoy your evenings. Walking track around the bund of the Lake is an attraction for people loving to maintain their health. Variety of plants all around the lake is a pleasure and feast to our eyes. Boys trying fishing in the lake is an amusement to see. Sit and Rest areas bring peace of mind and at the same time sweet breeze gives you a feather touch experience. Also you can enjoy a number of health soups like Vallari Soup, Mudkkaththan Soup, Kollu Soup etc there at the entrance. Inspite some inconveniences a nice place to enjoy your evenings.

No maintenance... Able to go for walk around now, but if still maintenance lags means, we wont able to walk. Already few tiles are broken and filled with bushes.. Sitting areas are affected.

Selvachinthamani Lake Selvachinthamani lake is located on the western portion of the Coimbatore town downstream to the Maruthamalai forest and North to the Noyyal river also it is the fifth water body in the linkage of lakes in the northern catchment which falls under core corporation limits of Coimbatore city. With having spread of over of 29 acres this lake is connected with Narasampathy, Krishnampathy, Selvampathy and Kumarasamy, in the upstream. In the downstream it is connected to Periyakulam, Valankulam and Singanallur lake eventually joining into the noyyal river on the south of the city.

Lake was spoiled and polluted....Recently some organisation has cleaned the lake...Should be maintained well.

I have a good experience at the lake as it has a pathway of 1.5km which is good for walking and excercise purpose.
