Age old hotel with very good maintenance. Rooms are simple & elegant with centralised AC with that old touch. Surprised to see how long have they maintained it so well. There was late night buffet earlier but now not available. Food is good. Location is prominent, nearby veg restaurants like Geetha Canteen, Anandhaas, Friends. Opp to Ramnagar post office. Approximately 800m to Gandhipuram central bus stand, walkable though. 2km to Cbe railway station. Good open parking space, free wifi, bar, restaurant, room service. Well attended staffs, pleasant environment.

Congested rooms, very small bathrooms, worst dealing of front office staff. Wanted to upgrade my room from standard room to deluxe room but their behavior was very rude and they were not interested to change the room. Their attitude is as if people are staying there for free. Restaurant service and food is good. Housekeeping too is very good.

We visited for dinner. Once it used to be such a busy restaurant always. But surprised to see the restaurant so empty. Started the Buffet (Vegetarian) food. The Soup - No salt. Pasta - not baked. Panner Fried rice - hmmm tasteless. Most of the dishes were empty, refills took a long time.. The table service is not even match the regular restaurant, no one attends you or even ask you for your needs. Now I understood why there is no crowd in the restaurant. It's time they pull up their Socks to bring back the charm else 😞😞😞...

Love visiting south east every time I think of hosting a special event. The authentic South Indian taste still remains intact. Enjoyed the buffet as usual in a comfortable restaurant with good and quick service.

Ambience was good. It is located in the prime area in Coimbatore. However, the food was quite costly and the taste was not up to the mark. The rooms were clean. Service was good.

A centrally located place. Has an old world charm with rooms having ante rooms and large bathrooms. The room service is a little slow. You have to plan accordingly. Value for money. Good parking and overnight accommodation for drivers is available

Good ,clean, comfortable rooms. Courteous service, center of city. Have renovated the hotel which should be 45 to 50 years old.

Hotel Alankar grande & hotel room is spacious & well maintained. It has many restaurants,hotels, street food centers,shops in nearby location. Multiple options available in Breakfast buffet.

Definitely a budget friendly, family friendly and neat and clean hotel. With ample parking and polite staff. Mr Prabhu at reception was a great help. I would definitely chose to stay here if I am in Coimbatore. The food is also very good. The location is brilliant as everything is nearby.

Had come for a 1 day visit. The staff at the reception is courteous. The room is good, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good. Overall, nice experience, value worth the money spent.
